I'll start by saying the work that Peter did for us was sheer perfection and the end result exceeded our expectations! We decided to renovate the kitchen in our 1902 farmhouse and rather than installing a ceramic tile floor we decided that a painted wood floor would be a better option for us. Finding a professional decorative painter was not easy but we were lucky to find Peter on Houzz and even luckier to discover that he was local. Peter recommended that we install Southern Yellow Pine that would work perfectly with the look we were going for while also complementing the flooring in adjacent the rooms. After the floor was installed, Peter provided painted samples, gladly modifying as we rethought color and treatment. Peter is a true artist from his initial prep work of chalking out the floor, to taping out the pattern, and applying the colors we selected. Watching him work was like witnessing the intersection of engineering and artistry. Our kitchen floor is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork and we couldn’t be happier. Do not hesitate in hiring Peter…you won’t be disappointed!

Peter was phenomenal. Exceptionally talented, clean, organized, respectful and created exactly what I enviioned as a finished product. (I purchased unfinished kitchen cabinets and he created the exact look, and more importantly the "feel", I wanted). Highly reccomended without any reservations.

Peter transformed our kitchen cabinets from dated, yellow oak to rich, warm cherry stained cabinets. We couldn’t be more pleased with how the cabinets, added hardware, and wine rack turned out. I’m so happy I found Peter; his workmanship is stunning! It was a pleasure working with him and we look forward to doing it again!

I was pleased with Peter Schiffer painting. His communication was articulate and always timely. He provided a project budget, and started work on the scheduled date. Unlike many other contractors I've hired in the past, Pete worked full days, without interruption until the project was complete. His work was meticulous in detail and extraordinarily professional. We barely even knew his was in the house while the work was being done because he keeps everything ultra-organized and clean as a whistle. We have a couple more painting projects coming up and would not in a second hesitate to call Peter again.

Peter has done impeccable work on both of the homes that I've owned - his art work is georgeous and he maintains a tidy work site. My favorite was a set of columns that he painted to look like green marble.
