My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Ariana to design custom cabinets for our entire house for a rather large remodel last year, which included a full new kitchen and 3 new bathrooms with all matching wood styling. During the design phase, Ariana was great at understanding our preferred aesthetics and recommending layouts and finishes that appeal to us. We even hired her to help us choose cabinet handles, floorings and paint colors. All of the cabinets arrived on time for installations and Ariana worked closely with our contractor to make modifications to fit around existing drain and water lines. Communication was never an issue and we got all problems resolved promptly with clear ETCs. We definitely love how modern and cohesive everything looks, and the quality is fantastic. After almost a year after installation, all of the cabinets and shelvings are still working great. I'm especially geeky about the corner LeMans cabinet! All of the product lines they offer use European woods, which is definitely more expensive than Chinese woods cabinets you can buy elsewhere. We definitely felt much more at ease about the quality of these cabinet lines (we used Columbia) and, given EU's more stringent regulations, safer with any potential VOC or toxic content in the finishes products. Would definitely love to work with Ariana again on future projects!

We had a wonderful experience working with Karen Evenden from KDS. She was friendly, responsive, and helped us design a beautiful kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. Karen really listened, brought a great energy to our meetings, and understood our style and needs. We appreciated her attention to detail: following up at every stage of the process, making sure things happened in time, and helping to troubleshoot things quickly. Karen was tremendously helpful in guiding us through the process of ordering cabinets for our whole home remodel. We would have been lost without her. I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic kitchen designer, Ariana Fuller, and I cannot speak highly enough of her work. From the very beginning, she was attentive and listened carefully to my needs and preferences for my kitchen design. The space we were working with presented a few challenges, but Ariana worked diligently to create a design that was not only functional but also beautiful and really made the most of the space available. Throughout the design process, Ariana was professional, knowledgeable, and creative. She was at my home the day the cabinets were delivered to ensure that all the required pieces were included in the order. Ariana worked closely with the contractor to ensure installation was completed properly and was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Overall, I would highly recommend Ariana to anyone looking to redesign their kitchen. She is truly a talented professional who goes above and beyond. She created a space that exceeded my expectations, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to work with her.

We had a great experience working with Ariana from KDS. We started with a list of requirements and a few reference photos, from there Ariana was able to generate a variety of innovative kitchen concepts modeled in 3D. She worked closely with us to refine the design, and then supported us throughout the renovation process. She was always responsive and pleasant to work with and we are thrilled with the final result!

The experience with Kitchen Design Services surpassed my expectations. I have very high standards for quality, professionalism, and all the myriad details of large projects such as a kitchen design and bath design. From start to finish, I saw over and over again the dedication of Ariana and her team, especially in flexibility as we designed our space, but also as construction progressed and the builders threw us curve balls. We engaged KDS for a secondary entry and art wall space, which was designed by me, and built by KDS. Ariana's knowledge and experience made all the difference for this "non-standard" project, which was super-fun for me! Absolutely everyone that comes through our front door is taken with the design, attention to detail, and the beauty of the space. No question, I would engage KDS again, and of course would love to work with Ariana in the future.

We worked with Ariana at Kitchen Design Services for a full remodel of our kitchen and cabinet remodels of 2 bathrooms. KDS was immensely knowledgeable and helpful in terms of how to organize and create a flow between the cabinets, appliances and how we use the kitchen. And they worked closely with us on the design elements so the cabinets fit into the aesthetic of our home. For our bathrooms, they worked with us to get the most out of the space available and work with the bathroom elements we were keeping in place. The custom cabinetry fit perfectly in the kitchen and bathrooms and overall we were so pleased with the design, the experience, and the end result. We only wish we had more remodels to do so we could continue to work with them!

Top notch service from Ariana! She worked with us on the original layout we had sketched out, and came up with an option we had not even considered for our kitchen layout. We are very pleased with the kitchen, bathroom, and living room built-in cabinetry. The end result is beautiful and functional. Post installation, there was one minor element that Ariana felt didn't turn out quite right. Even though we didn't even notice it, she ordered a replacement for the panel in question and installed it at no cost to us! Lastly, I appreciated the detailed process and estimates. There was no upselling, just a desire to make the customer happy.

Ariana Fuller was referred to us in late 2020 to help us with the complete makeover of an outdated 1970’s kitchen. On her site visit we shared some ideas and a few rough sketches of what we were envisioning. Within two weeks she came back to us with detailed layouts and 3D renderings that were as close to the final design as could be. Throughout the project she impressed us with attention to detail and expert knowledge of space layouts, cabinet choices, cabinet interiors, colors, materials, surfaces, lighting etc. Not only her design support was outstanding, her hands-on support with the installation was invaluable. She “showed up” when needed to instruct the installers and help solve tricky installation problems. We highly recommend Ariana at KDS for her professionalism, design experience, expert knowledge, and - last but not least - her patience with us while we were still making up our minds on kitchen details.

I have been working with Karen on a bathroom remodel design. Because I am still in the planning phases of what I want to do, I have had the opportunity to talk to her while beginning my initial design process over several months. Each time she comes over, I feel like a friend is coming for coffee. She has a great personality and is so easy to work with. Each time I have contacted her, she responds immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend her and am happy that I found her as well.

Karen is awesome!! She worked closely with us to create a beautiful and functional kitchen design to replace our cramped and dated kitchen. The old layout in the kitchen was really difficult to work with but Karen was up for the challenge! Karen is extremely creative and she came up with a brilliant design that opened up the space by removing some interior walls and increasing the width of the doorways. The updated kitchen layout also gave us double the counter space and a lot more storage than the old kitchen. We also hired Karen to help us with the kitchen cabinet and countertop design. Karen went above and beyond to search numerous stone slab yards all over the Bay Area until she found the perfect quartzite countertop to complement our new cabinets. Karen’s kitchen layout also created an open flow from the kitchen to the family room which makes the space much more inviting and ideal for entertaining family and friends. We absolutely love our new kitchen! We can’t thank Karen enough for making our dream kitchen a reality!

Kevin Roessler at KDS is an innovative designer whom I can highly recommend for any project. Kevin really took the time to understand how we use our kitchen and then created the design accordingly. Kevin asked us about how many people are cooking typically at the same time, what needed to be within my reach (I am much shorter than my husband), how much space we needed/wanted for various activities (baking, pasta-making, etc.), how much storage was required (lots and lots), how much socializing happened in the kitchen and many more details that never would have crossed my mind. I will always remember being asked "where do you want your spices" and now I love having them in a drawer right next to the cook top easily accessible no matter what I am cooking (I thought everyone kept their spices in a cabinet). Not only was Kevin creative and insightful, but he was also conscientious about our budget helping us make informed choices about each selection and giving us the time to refine the design so that it perfectly met our needs. There are so many options now for cabinetry, finishes, gadgetry, etc., that without an informed designer's expertise it can be overwhelming, but Kevin made it relatively easy. We were also very pleased with his participation during construction. Kevin stayed with the project through installation and our move-in to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. When hurdles were encountered in the construction (through no fault of KDS), he helped us devise solutions and worked well with the various trades to ensure we had the kitchen of our dreams and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We hired Kevin of KDS to help us design our kitchen area for a remodelimg project after finding some very positive reviews on Houzz. We found Kevin to be very professional, organized, and detailed-oriented in his approach throughout all phases our project. Kevin is also a very good listener, which definitely helped our project get done correctly and meet our expectations. We were not sure if we really needed a designer, but after seeing the results we are sure glad we did! We started by meeting Kevin at our house to view and discuss the project. Kevin asked us a lot of questions about how we use the space and what our goals were in terms of appearance and functionality. He then took some pictures and measurements and then carefully surveyed the area. Afterward, he provided us with a software-generated, 3-D rendition of the area which gave us a good idea of what the finished product would look like from several views before the project even started. It is also noteworthy that Kevin helped us choose new kitchen cabinets as he is also a manufacturer's representative for Columbia cabinets and has a nice showroom in Santa Clara. Additionally, he gave us some referrals to help us choose our appliances. With the most of the design phase complete, Kevin referred us to a general contractor he has worked with in the past whom we ended up hiring. Kevin and the general contractor even met with us at a local tile and stone supplier to select the granite for the counter top and the tiles for the floor and the back splash. After the construction started, Kevin stopped by several times to answer any questions or discuss any problems that we or the contractor had. This definitely provides added value to the KDS design service package. Of course, Kevin also came by at the project's end to inspect the quality of the work. We are very glad we chose KDS for our kitchen design needs. Kevin not only participates in the design, but also helps with selecting materials, selecting the appliances, selecting the contractor, and following up during construction to make sure the customer's expectations are met.

I wish I could give 10 stars as a rating for KDS, as working with them was nothing but an amazing experience. We met with KDS through our general contractor to order cabinets for the remodel of our kitchen, master bath, & laundry room. Working with Kevin and Ariana was such a joy! They are both so easy to work with and have GREAT vision. We had been working with our GC designer for the kitchen arrangement, and at our first meeting, KDS helped us make a few changes of appliances that made the arrangement even better. They helped make a more efficient workspace, as well as created a BEAUTIFUL focal point which with the original plan would not have happened. They helped us think outside the box and today I have a kitchen that is both efficient and beautiful. Our original pantry had to be moved with our new kitchen layout so KDS suggested pull out shelves in cabinets. This arrangement has made storing food even better and doubled the existing pantry space. They suggested many features that we hadn't thought of (a knife drawer, blind corner pull out shelves, dish drawer, utensil dividers) and all of these have been so worthwhile. We have looked for similar aftermarket items, and have not seen anything as great as what we have. We are so thankful they had the vision to help us save time and money, in the end, getting a great product. Making our color and material selections were easy thanks to the KDS showroom. They had great samples in the showroom so that we could feel and touch many of the accessories, wood choices, colors, and styles. They were generous to share many different color samples so that we could narrow down our countertop, tile, and floor selections. The quality of the product is excellent! The cabinets were delivered painted so this saved any problems that may have come up painting them on site. They are easy to keep clean and look amazing. Through the design phase of our project, Kevin and Ariana worked hard to get the design and measurements together quickly so that we could get the cabinets ordered early, so our project would not be delayed. A few pieces were damaged on the worksite after delivery, and KDS was quick to get them reordered and shipped keeping our project on time. They were good about keeping us updated on the delivery and coming out to the site to make sure everything we ordered was delivered. Ariana was so responsive! if I thought of a question or had a change on the weekend, she would get back to me right away. She would send us a full rendering of our kitchen. Being a visual person, the room renderings were my favorite part of our home remodel. I knew without a doubt that the space would look amazing once it was finished. Even after we had framed the house, I was still making changes, and a quick text to Ariana would solve a problem and our bathroom vanity is even more perfect than I had hoped. Our laundry room had tight space, and KDS helped us create an arrangement that provided lots of counter space and plenty of storage. We love our new laundry room! Several months after we moved in I had noticed that something wasn’t quite right with a few of our shelves. They quickly inspected the problem and realized the shelf was faulty and had them replaced. Kevin himself even came out to repair a pull-out shelf that was a little difficult to pull out, since I had overloaded it with canned goods! Customer service is A+ with KDS! The great thing about working with KDS is that they not only have a quality product, but they are quality people. I recommend KDS without reservation!

We had been thinking about remodeling our kitchen (built in 1978) for quite some time. We knew "the look" we wanted but did not know how to achieve it. We researched several firms before choosing KDS. We liked their business model and had great success working with Ariana, one of their designers. During our initial meetings, Ariana listened carefully to our ideas and one week later returned with her initial design concepts, which were far more creative and space functional than we expected, all while still being true to our original ideas. Ariana helped us with many details, including cabinet features, resource recommendations for appliances and fixtures, and even suggestions for an adjacent space that improved it significantly. Throughout the project, we benefited from her creativity and practicality. Ariana was very responsive to our needs, over the phone, via email and in person, depending on the situation. She is very pleasant and easy to work with. We are very happy with our remodeled kitchen and glad that we chose KDS and Ariana.

We recently went through a home renovation that included an update of our existing kitchen island. It was surprisingly difficult to find a company that was willing to do such a small project, but Kevin from KDS not only did our project, but made me feel as valued as a customer as someone who had completed a whole kitchen remodel. He spent the time and effort to make sure I had the right materials that worked with my existing kitchen, and walked me through several options for the configuration that fit everything I was looking for. His timeline estimates were spot on, and the finished materials were of high quality and exactly as described. My contractor had no complaints while installing, and Kevin even followed up afterwards to make sure everything was correct. All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely look to them again for any future kitchen remodel needs. Highly recommend!

A broken pipe and leak turned into a kitchen and bath remodel. Karen at KDS patiently solicited our needs and desires and designed a beautiful contemporary kitchen. Karen was responsive to all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend KDS services they were a pleasure to work with - very thorough and thoughtful. Kevin and KDS team helped us get our dream kitchen in Menlo Park. We love the quality, design, and functionality of our kitchen Kevin designed for us and wouldn't hesitate to recommend KDS to others. Our overall home remodel was delayed time after time with many set backs. However, I am happy to say our kitchen remodel was the smoothest part of it all because Kevin stayed on top of everything, working directly with GC and even visiting our home multiple times to help ensure things are done right. When it was time to choose kitchen cabinets, Ariana was very helpful. She listened to what we needed and was able to envision the perfect layout. Her CAD drawings enabled us to visualize the space and make adjustments to accommodate our family’s needs and flow. She was flexible and was able to help us identify what we wanted when it wasn’t clear to us. She was very responsive to our questions and offered us suggestions and guidance throughout the whole process. She and KDS in general collaborated well with our designer, contractor and tile person. We love our kitchen and enjoy the space to gather, entertain and cook.

We hired KDS to design a kitchen for our Los Gatos Home in early 2017. We had a challenging space to work with from a space perspective. Although we liked the space, it did not show off a Los Gatos property well. Karen of KDS provided a lot of small ideas including spice racks adjacent to the cook center which made the kitchen uber-functional. Karen spent a lot of her own time resolving contractor issues. All of the cabinetry worked well with our specified appliances. My wife and I are extremely happy with KDS and would recommend them highly!

KDS was the perfect design service for our needs. While many design services have the basics; quality product, design rendering, and relationships with contractors; KDS has Karen. Karen brings her visual creativity and intuition for the interplay of space with specific forms. Me, with an engineering bent of mind, enjoyed solving our design problems without compromising a beautiful final product. My wife equally enjoyed the finer details with Karen's insight to color, shape and lighting.

We were stuck. The kitchen had to go - no doubt - but did we rip and replace or move it? We had never done a major remodel before. We'd talked to over 7 contractors/designers and we just weren't sure if moving the kitchen was going to work in the space, given the layout of our house, or within our budget. I called Kevin from his listing on Houzz. He came over and listened to our wishes, rants, worries, and dilemmas. He asked questions about how we used the space, he confirmed things he'd heard us say, he measured, and then he answered all our questions, spelling out the facts as they related to everything we said. 7 designers & contractors left me with nothing but glossy photos, sales pitches, and anxiety, but in 1 hour Kevin gave me real answers and practical insight. He knew exactly what he was talking about. He was realistic, practical, interested, and engaged without being pitchy. It was SUCH a breath of fresh air. He was more like our kitchen mentor/advocate that a designer trying to sell me something. We hired him to design the kitchen and bought cabinets and cabinet lighting from him as well. The design was beautiful and more than we asked for. Meaning, he added ideas and flair we wouldn't have thought of. It was a wonderful experience. Then we picked cabinets. Everyone we worked with at KDS has the patience of saints. We reviewed cabinet manufacturer options, pricing, colors, styles, layout, inserts, lighting and various options. He never pitched. He explained what he liked for us and what he didn't. He would say things like "If this matters to you, then this is probably a good choice." Or he's say, "I do want to make you aware that you could do THIS, but you've said that isn't a priority, so I'm mentioning it, but not championing it. I don't think you'd find it worth the extra cost." So I felt that he wasn't holding anything back based on our rookie input, but had indeed heard us and understood what we wanted. It made the whole process very comforting. Our finished kitchen is beautiful and functional in every way. It is everything I asked for, PLUS a few things I didn't think of and MINUS a thing or two I thought would be a good but weren't (you are so diplomatic, Mr. Roessler!) The kitchen has been done for 6 months. I still love it - it's an absolute dream to work in. Everything feels so much easier. And I know that's because Kevin heard what we needed and designed it. I don't feel oversold. I don't feel like I forgot or missed anything. I think we made all the right choices for the right reasons. No regrets, misgivings or "but next time I'll..." wishes at all. Which is pretty darn good for our first kitchen remodel. I've recommended Kevin to everyone I know and will continue to. Actually, I don't have to say anything - people see the kitchen and just ask.

Karen has an excellent eye to the details, good ears to her clients and worked passionately to deliver the results we were looking for! We had multiple rounds of discussions before arriving at a design, cabinet style and configuration that best fits our need. Karen was all along the way closely associated with the kitchen redesign that involved change of kitchen location and adding of pantry working closely with our architect and contractor. She made sure right parts were included, cabinets were in good shape and installed correctly. We had situation to replace couple cabinet doors and end panels that Karen promptly took care and went extra mile to make the kitchen look perfect for us.. I found Kevin on Houzz after having second thoughts about my initial kitchen / guest bathroom plans. Over 6-8 months we worked on our kitchen, dining, living, full guest bath and laundry rooms. His showroom is conveniently located next to a large granite and tile supplier which was really great for spending hours looking at materials. Our place has been transformed into a space we are so happy to be in and that has much more function that we previously had. We ended up doing a lot more than I originally thought and I am so glad that we did!

Remodel projects are tough and daunting. We initially thought we could do it on our own, but it very soon became apparent that we needed professional help. This is because there are so many aspects to consider and coordinate and there are several moving parts in this project. Apart from cabinets and granite, which is what most people think is involved in a kitchen project, there are other aspects to consider such as floors, hardware, electrical, lighting, layout, etc. We knew we would not be able to coordinate all these seamlessly on our own. And so, began our hunt for a designer. After browsing through countless online websites, friends and family, we narrowed our search down to a three designers and Kevin Roessler from Kitchen Design Services was one of them. We found Kevin to be upfront and honest with us on all aspects – estimated project cost, his fees, timelines and latest trends. He shared his thoughts with us openly on his initial consult (which was free) with no expectation in return. We appreciated his candid nature and finally decided to go with him. Kevin made several trips to our home to learn about our current layout, and after we shared a few pictures of kitchens that we had saved, he grasped our requirements pretty well. His initial design was 90% in line with our needs. We made just one or two alterations and nailed down the final design. His 3d diagramming helped us visualize immediately the look and feel of our proposed kitchen. We then embarked on our journey to narrow down materials. From cabinets to back splash, Kevin worked with us on all aspects of the design, end-to-end. During the process he was extremely patient, guided us where we weren’t sure and picked out products and designs that were easy to decide on. We didn’t want to order cabinets from him but after looking around for several days at top of the line cabinets at big box retailers and other stores, no one could even come close the styles and quality of cabinets that Kevin carried in his showroom. With his help, we picked top-of the line cabinets which were within our budget. The cabinets have truly been the best asset of our kitchen. We are so thankful for going ahead with custom cabinetry from one of his vendors. Kevin also made numerous trips with us to pick out the granite, back-splash, floor tiles, back splash, lighting, faucets and even the wall paint! He has a keen sense of design, is pensive while coordinating various kitchen artifacts and totally has a knack for it. Kevin has a great network of providers and also encouraged us to pick products and services from other vendors, which we did. Once all of the products were narrowed down and ordered, we started our project. One would think that a designer’s role would be over after the design is done, but Kevin worked with us all the way till the end of our project. He stopped by frequently to make sure the contractor was executing as per the design, he answered our calls promptly whenever there were any doubts or questions and best of all, came up with alternatives when there were minor issues. No project will be smooth and when things go off track, you need a guiding hand. Kevin was able to provide this much needed guidance on our project and are we glad we worked with him. If you’re looking for a designer, especially for your kitchen, look no further. Kevin is smart, talented, affordable and overall a great guy. Kevin was great to work with on my kitchen project. He was very professional and kept me informed all along the way. The cabinet quality and styles are excellent. The finish turned out as beautiful as expected. There were a few small adjustments required to the cabinets which were taken care of immediately. Kevin has been everything you would want in a designer and more. My new kitchen is everything I expected and more! I absolutely love everything about our new kitchen/dining room remodel!! He will consult you on any and all materials if needed from the ceiling to the floor and all that goes in-between. He is very professional and fair. He took time to really understand my needs of wanting a very functional kitchen. He was fun to work with and came to know what my tastes were in color and style, while also being helpful with new ideas too. He has a good eye to tell you what can work and will not work. His attention to details that I would not have even known about were exactly the reason to hire him as a professional designer. He was always accessible when you have questions. Our contractor Silva Custom Construction has done many projects with him, so they have good communications of getting it done exactly as it was planned.. Kevin designed what I call a miracle on my 1947 kitchen! We overlooked the despair of the kitchen and master bath when purchasing this home, as we knew Kevin would have the perfect answer for this bold remodel. We used Kevin's services for a redesign of our kitchen. The original kitchen was a 1960s kitchen which blocked out the light from a couple of directions and made the home look gloomy. Kevin redesigned the kitchen to make it look more airy, contemporary/transitional. He designed the cabinets, the island, all the shelves, and consulted on the backsplash tile choices, appliance selections, kitchen slabs, lighting, as well as color selections for the kitchen overall. He designed a passthrough in our kitchen that also made the kitchen look brighter, while at the same time providing convenience for us to be able to look in on our little one in the adjoining room. His drawings were meticulous and the contractors had no trouble working with them. We also purchased our semi-custom cabinets through Kevin. He provided a lot of tips, which, to us as first time kitchen remodelers, were invaluable - steering us away from bad choices that would have been expensive to correct in future. Kevin was a great resource for our complete remodel of our home. He came up with a great kitchen design and was available for consulting on other aspects of the house. He is very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable about the entire remodel. He worked with us from the very beginning of our project until the end. We ordered cabinets for our kitchen, bathrooms, and bookcases from him. He helped with picking out cabinets, choosing granite, advised on hardware, advused on hardwood flooring, helped us design built-in bookcases, and chose paint colors for the entire house. We met Kevin from KDS through our interior designer who was managing our home remodel. It was an extensive remodel which included moving walls. KDS was the kitchen and bathroom subcontractor on our home remodel in Willow Glen (San Jose). Kevin is very easy to work with, he is quite helpful and does a very good job of translating a concept for the space (kitchen and bathrooms) into a workable design (space and budget-wise). He is up front about what services he has available and provides a lot of examples during the initial consultation so you can see if his style will work for the type of project you are doing. The quality of cabinets and attention to detail is top notch. I would suggest that you use him to do the installation of the cabinets and not leave that to someone else. You will be much happier by letting Kevin do the installation. We are very happy with our new kitchen. It really works well in the house and many people have given high praise to kitchen layout, look and feel. I would use Kevin again on my next cabinet project in a second.

Kevin did our house kitchen Design three years ago. The Kitchen cabinets are so great and beautiful . He is a very detail and honest person , so we feel very comfortable working together.
