Legacy did an outstanding job with our first floor renovation! We especially appreciated the creativity and experience of the design team; the expertise, attention to detail and workmanship of the subcontractors; the daily communication with our project manager and the software program that tracked our project; and, the courtesy and professionalism shown by all who worked on and in the house. We also could not have asked for a better project manager than Brent to guide us through our first house renovation! Not only was he excellent in communicating details, focused on promptly addressing any questions or concerns, highly skilled in masonry and carpentry, he was also great fun to work with!

From start to finish, the process of physical space assessment, design stage, ordering, construction and installation went smoothly, which was fabulous given the current global supply chain issues. Bruce, our onsite project manager, was fantastic. Very calm, very cooperative in working with us on COVID safety protocols with all the contractors, updating us daily on work completed as well as next steps. The Office team was incredibly supportive in answering our questions timely and completely. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We contacted Legacy Builders Group after seeing the work they did for our neighbors. After a phone call with Chris and then in-person meetings, we were all set to move forward. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of every Legacy Builders Group worker that entered our home. Whenever we had questions, they were answered in a timely fashion. We LOVE our new space. The design idea from Chris and working with Annie to pick everything out was such a smooth process. We are loving our new outdoor covered patio! This is our second major project with Legacy and would again highly recommend this professional and trustworthy company. They are great to work with, very professional, friendly, organized and clean. They treated our home with respect and were conscientious of everyone’s safety, particularly during this challenging time. Our project entailed filling in a basement walkout, building a deck over the walkout, transforming a bay window into a quad sliding door, installing a new patio with pavers, building the roof to cover the new deck and patio, and installing all fixtures, screens, and doors. The Legacy team and their contractors managed our in-project changes while accommodating our simultaneous pool installation. We love the finished product and feel that it has enhanced our home and our outdoor living space dramatically.

The team worked great with us through the entire process. The recommendations were good, the process went according to schedule and the budget was as we were promised. We did add a few change controls as it progressed and it was an easy process. They went the extra mile by moving our washer/dryer back in place so we could do the laundry on the weekends.

I have had a business relationship with Legacy Builders Group for a few years now! I have completely enjoyed working with the Legacy Team! I would highly recommend Legacy Builders Group and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. In fact, at the end of our last project, we started discussing our next! They did a great job of being transparent about everything in our project. They followed their proposed schedule, almost to a T, finishing a little early even. They did a great job on our basement project. Any issues we had at any time were promptly resolved. They made the design process simple and fun. We love the finished product!

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Legacy. Their in-depth up-front design phase allowed us to be clear on budget and timing. The project was then completed within the scope of both the timing and budget initially set forth. They are prompt and professional when corresponding via email and phone. They treated our home with respect, were conscientious with all elements of safety and kept their workspace remarkably clean (an entire brick wall was knocked down and there was little to no dust observed outside of their project space). Every Legacy employee we interacted with was kind, polite and conscientious. We would recommend them every time!

LBG has forever spoiled us and ruined our tolerance for the traditional GC bid&build model! We never want to use anyone but this group again for future projects. LBG was our 1st experience with a design-build firm. Probably just like you, we were suspicious of all the 5 stars and glowing comments when we first checked them out. I thought there must be some koolaid or kickback or something - nothing yet! The satisfaction comes down to 3 things: 1) high standards of professionalism and craftsmanship, 2) staying ON BUDGET and 3) a well-laid out and communicated plan. I also suspect that had it not been for a pandemic during our project, it also would have been done ON TIME. As it was, our calendar had to be adjusted by about 1 month, not bad. We were given fantastic guidance on design choices by Bill Haussler, Russ Moody, and Annie Miller. It was a relief to have all major design decisions made before construction even began. Our design phase was long due to our evolving needs as a family and a very old house with its own needs. LBG and architect Russ Moody worked up multiple possible designs for our remodel, keeping in mind our budget and the possibility of future projects. When we expanded to include an addition and complete relocation of our kitchen to the center of the house, they worked patiently and flexibly with us to get it just right. The most mind-blowing part of working with LBG was the budgeting and “value engineering” process. Bill Haussler was very earnest and upfront with us about cost expectations and affordability from the outset, which was so important to us. We found their quotes right in line with other similar highly respected outfits in the NKY area, or better. Bill and our project manager, [amazing] Bruce Otte, laid out our construction calendar to accommodate our vacations, some separate work on our old basement/garage by Basement Doctor (technically not part of this project, but LBG let us take advantage of the already-dug-out yard), and enabled us to use our old kitchen and house as much as possible for maximum convenience. Despite all the new wood flooring and the staircase to the 2nd floor being rebuilt, they kept it very clean, and we only had to be out of our house for ~3 days during the entire 6 month project. We always knew (more importantly, Bruce always knew) who was going to be in our house - important since we have 4 young children. Bruce and his son, Andrew, are just the kindest and best craftsmen you could hope to have work on your home and around your family. In summary, all our friends and relatives told us to expect our major addition/remodel to be the most miserable, marriage-straining, over budget, endless odyssey we could imagine...and nothing could have been further from what we experienced! LBG took all the stress off of us by managing the hell out of this project and bringing it in on budget and done RIGHT! Can’t say enough good things. They're amazing.

From start to finish, Legacy performed exceptionally well. The design and preliminary cost estimate of the extension, screened porch and patio were right on point (Bill Haussler). The on-site-manager was attentive to questions and comments, helped navigate the small area between the houses to get to the rear of our house for the construction and communicated effectively with status updates and observations (Kevin Haussler). Finally, the overall leader of the project was professional and demonstrated experience in working with our project (Chris Otte). We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Legacy.

We love our basement remodel! From the very first meeting, Legacy Builders Group was very responsive to my requests and concerns. In the beginning, I was not sure exactly what I wanted, so the design process was very helpful. I really appreciated Annie's help picking out hardware/ carpet/ light fixtures, etc. The work was top notch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when I had questions or concerns. They stayed on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend and use again. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Legacy Builders Group fulfilled all expectations throughout my home renovation project. From the initial introductory meeting, the Legacy team listened to the scope of my project ideas and established a plan to keep the project within scope, on track, and within budget every step along the way. From start to finish, the site team executed each step of the project according to plan. Communication throughout was flawless. A few unanticipated changes were found but resolved quickly and within reason keeping all aspects of the project on track. Attention to detail, constant communication (even when I was not able to be not on site), and high quality across their team of subs are the things that stand out to me. The scope of the project included a complete kitchen, laundry, and all bathroom remodel and I am thrilled with the results.
