Long Island Mantel and Millwork has exceeded my expectations. My contractor referred me to Jim, owner of (LIMAM). Jim listened to my vision and helped me make decisions to create the fireplace, TV and bookcases that best worked in my home. Craftmanship is top notch. Install easy and unobtrusive. The upgraded electric fireplace recommend by Jim is awesome. I am very happy and love my new home upgrades. Will not be disappointed.

We've been struggling for over a year and a half to find someone knowledgeable enough finish the fireplace in our 100 year old home. I found Jim here on Houzz and we are so happy that we chose him to design our fireplace mantel. The craftsmanship and service that he provided was top notch and then some. Jim is a professional that cares about being a master at his trade; something that is rare these days. Not sure how he read our minds but he knew exactly what sort of mantel design we needed. Our living room has been totally transformed! Jim was also a pleasure to work with and he frequently went above and beyond communicating ideas, confirming measurements and guiding us on which fireplace insert we should get. He even worked directly with a marble contractor to communicate measurements for our marble surround to make sure everything fit perfectly.

I can't say enough about L.I. Mantel. Jim was so accommodating & made my mantel exactly what I asked for. It is so beautiful & I am so happy that I called him. It is very rare nowadays to get something exactly the way you envisioned it & for a very reasonable price. I showed Jim a picture of what I wanted & he was able to make it perfectly. I recommend L.I. Mantel to anyone looking for mantels & any other millwork.

My wife & I were looking to have a mantel & cabinets installed in our family room. We found LI Mantel on line. Talked to Jim & he came over explained what we were looking for. I knew right off the bat from his knowledge & professionalism that I did not need a second company to come over. He won me over. The job came out beautiful. We are so happy with the results. He was so neat. Like no one was ever there. We are going to enjoy this for years too come.

I contacted Jim to build and install a mantel over my living room fireplace and I could not be happier with the entire process and finished product!
