Nothing but good things to say... I was recommended Lori Pedersen from my realtor for staging my property for sale. We had an initial consultation where they examined our home and suggested small changes we could make to increase the value of our home. They were easy changes like changing light fixtures to painting a part of our home. We made those changes and they really made a big difference in how our home presented itself. Then came the actual staging. When I saw my property after it was staged, I couldn't believe it was my own house. All the furnitures and deco were in the perfect size and shape and colour were chosen to maximize the positives of our home. I could tell that each component was meticulously chosen to fit together super nicely. Nothing looked ackward and everything just seemed so natural. Super happy with the results and yes, we sold our home quickly at a good price. They were super quick with their responses and were patient with us while we asked a lot of questions. I truly think they are the best at what they do in the GTA. Highly recommend them.

Lori charged $495 plus tax for the first meeting about the furnishing of a house. The end product consisted of the budget for the furniture, recommendations, and the budget for her own works. No designs or even style ideas were presented. Almost signing the contract we saw that not all of her future work was estimated in the budget. It looked like a 15% design fee on top of the furniture at first... But when we asked to do only the first stage, with fewer rooms, the furniture budget duly decreased twice, but her design works estimate stayed the same $3000, now amounting to 30%. When asked about this, she first responded that the budget did decrease for the smaller scope. I had to review the emails to demonstrate to her that in fact, it didn't. Then she admitted the mistake but shrugged off the issue as minor and hasn't offered any compensation or correction. I complained about this way of dealing and then she refused to work further and offered a refund of $65 out of $495.

So our daughter created a new saying: WWLD. What Would Lori Do! LOL. I love the new art Lori suggested that is a perfect combination of colors to blend the rooms together. I've really appreciated how Lori helped me use the very traditional furniture that I had already and then add decor and furniture arrangement to update the look to a more transitional style. We needed to sell our home quick and for a good price because we had already committed to buying a new home. We found Lori through Google and she came with a ton of good reviews. She certainly didn't disappoint! She suggested a new colour to our hallway that brightened our home and made it more attractive to a wider audience. She brought in finishing pieces that pulled the home together. She gave us a list of to-dos which we followed religiously and we can see how it transformed the space. She even set our couch is a certain way that we've never thought of doing for 10 years and it certainly looks better for it. We sold our house after the first open house. As a Realtor that focuses on a lot on design, we chose Lori and her team based on their ability to execute our design plans and feel. We had a larger 4 bedroom property that needed the entire home staged on a short time period. Along with Lori + team's help, we were able to finish the whole job including all of the minor reno work that we planned for on time for the client's listing date. We were able to sell for $40k more than another comparable property with the same layout. We spent about $20k (including the staging portion) and got about double our investment back for our client. I hired Lori to stage a home for the sale of a Lakeside property at 7 Barrie Terrace, Barrie. The home was beautiful, but needed a "wow" factor. I liked the fact the Lori left the home owner with a list of things to do, on the spot. She returned with a crew, furnishings and decorative items. She did a complete walk through of my home, took photos and we completed the paperwork to proceed. I'm working on a second floor renovation. Our initial meeting went great. She took "before" photos and we discussed colours and ways to revamp my dark wood and very dated furniture. I wanted to keep the furniture but also needed a change. She was great in sending me ideas, photos and leads via email shortly after our meeting. She has me so motivated and inspired. Can't wait to see the "after" pictures! Highly recommended and reasonable rates.

Lori was recommended to me by my realtor last year when I needed to stage my house for selling. With her expert help we were able to sell our home quickly. She then assisted me in packing up my house (could have been a very stressful time) in a very efficient manner. When we took possession of our new home, I hired Lori to help with the design of renovating the entire house. It is now a work in progress and with her help, I'm loving every minute. We LOVED working with Lori on our master bathroom, bedroom and walk in closet renovation. She made what could have been a daunting task an actual fun and creative process. I hired Lori Pedersen to stage a house I had for sale in Richmond Hill. It was evident watching her work that she has vast experience staging a house to look like a home potential buyers would see themselves living there. The results were amazing. I hired Lori again to help me with my unpacking in my new home. She was very efficient, worked very quickly to put everything in its place and greatly reduced the stress of moving. She also helped with the decorating, picking paint colors, hanging pictures furniture placement and so so much more. What I am most thankful for Lori is how she helped me re-invent my kitchen. Since I did not have the money to completely re-renovate she helped me save so much money by simply painting the cabinets and re-configuing the appliances I love my kitchen now. I feels brand new. Lori again helped me with using leftover tile from my last house in my renovated basement washrooms. It looks great !! Lori is great about making a house look amazing without spending a fortune. Limited mobility forced me to consider a bathroom renovation. I needed a walk in shower but did not want to eliminate the bathtub. The plan was to remove a small counter and its storage cupboards. Arrangements were made to have the work done while I was in Florida over the winter. Lori co-ordinated and supervised the entire project without a flaw. I returned in the Spring to a glamorous, elegant but functional handicap friendly bathroom Lori understood my needs. I greatly appreciate her creative ideas, knowledge and patience to make the vision a reality. Annette Wolf

Recently I purchased my first apartment with my boyfriend. Because I had never decorated my own place before I was very confused with colour choices and on what wall each colour should be on. Lori was beyond the most helpful, patient and knowledgeable interior decorate I have ever come across. She explained to me how the sun can come in at certain angles making the colour choices I picked looking very different than the colour samples. Because of her she made our apartment feel like a home rather than a stepping stone till our next place. I couldn’t have done it without her help!
