Luxe Domain

I am Kym Lackmann, the founder and principal designer of Luxe Domain, and we are experienced designers specialising in residential, small commercial and relocation projects. My design ethos is that we work co-creatively with our clients by acquiring a deep understanding of their style and vision. We delight in incorporating their favourite pieces with new colours, the latest fabrics, updated furniture and other design elements which really deliver a sense of personalised luxury and richness. My key focus has always been that we deliver a superior experience for our clients and our ultimate reward is seeing the difference our design and decoration makes to their lives. In 2014, I recognised a need for many of our clients to have access to downsizing assistance. And so began the development of our Luxury Downsizing service, whereby we merge sophisticated design with the finest relocation and sorting professionals together in one smooth, elegant and stress free process. We help our clients curate their existing belongings, we maximise their new spaces for the things that matter, and we purchase contemporary furniture which is essential for breathing new life into their older pieces. When moving into a new apartment or townhouse people downsizing can find themselves overwhelmed with the sense of white space. We want our clients to feel assured that after we’ve worked our magic their new residence will be warm and inviting, will reflect their personal essence and values, and will immediately be a home they adore.
