We retained Designing Interiors for assistance in materials selection and design direction for our kitchen. That first project was so well done that the relationship continued to updating our whole home—from paint selection, custom furniture selection and ordering to selections and ordering of soft materials like bedding, rugs and pillows. They have been with us for three years helping us reimagine our home room-by-room, transitioning us from tired and old to updated, fun and modern. The DI team is fun, professional and truly stunning in design.

My husband and I recently moved from New Jersey to Naperville, Illinois. Maria, owner of Designing Interiors, helped us with every aspect of our new build from afar and during the COVID pandemic. She got to know our “traditional style” and adapted to a “transitional style” new build from door hardware, plumbing, moldings to flooring, blinds and draperies. Maria made me powerpoint presentations on almost everything to guide me through all the details and selections. I do not know how we could have done this project without her since we could not travel. Her professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. Maria helped us with a recent renovation of our house. She was extremely friendly, professional, easy to work with and listened to what kind of style we like and found wonderful materials for us that met that style. Maria made herself available to us whenever we needed her - even with a last-minute suggestion if we needed it. She also suggested things that we had not thought of in our new bathrooms - both bathrooms now feel like pure luxury. The outside of our house also needed some updating and we were restricted by village code on how much we could do. She helped us with design and color that has greatly improved our curb appeal. I cannot say enough good about Maria - you can't go wrong hiring her.

My husband and I worked with Patti on our house project this past winter. Patti was so easy to work with. She helped us with designing a new fireplace, mantel and built- ins in our family room. She also picked paint colors for our whole first floor. She picked fabric and furniture for our family room. In addition, she picked window treatments, new light fixtures and floor stain. It was a pleasure working with Patti. She is flexible with her time and she didn't go over the time we had alloted for the project. We love the way our house looks. It looks like it should be in a magazine. Absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Patti for your interior design projects.

Maria and Designing interiors were timely in responding to communication, were flexible in scheduling meetings, highly creative and listened to what our feelings and needs were in the design phase. It was exciting to team with Maria as she was passionate about helping us understand new perspectives, all the while honoring those ideas that were important for us to honor from the legacy of our home. During execution, the team delivered on time, as promised and went above and beyond to make sure that we were delighted with execution. They were great about follow up post-delivery. The vendors that they teamed with espoused the same qualities and cared about our home and the quality of work they did. This is the second time I’ve worked with Maria and her company, and the second time I’ve been extremely satisfied with her services. Maria helped me with our kitchen renovation and did an amazing job selecting countertop, paint colors, backsplash, and lighting. In the past she has also assisted with the selection and design of custom window treatments. Maria is extremely professional and reliable and has an amazing eye for design and keeping up with modern trends.
