We had a great experience with Mammoth and would highly recommend them. We used Mammoth for design & construction for a full renovation of a 2-bed 2-bath post-war Manhattan apartment. We didn’t go down to studs, but we did basically everything else: both bathrooms, kitchen, closets, lighting, floors, and wall finishes. This was our first home purchase and our first time doing a renovation project of any type. Maryana was thoughtful about incorporating our unclear and conflicting design thoughts into a coherent vision. The design was done within the timeline that she provided. We were happy with the plan, and the end result came out even better than we hoped. Construction was finished and our move-in date was ON TIME: 14 weeks for a full gut reno! We were very pleased with that. There were a few odds and ends to clean up after we moved in, but nothing that made it difficult to get settled. During the construction process, Jess made a great impression on our super and neighbors. She and Maryana communicated clearly and frequently about possible issues throughout the process. The overall cost came in higher than we initially budgeted, but communication on that front was very clear as well. Individual aspects of the project generally all hit Jess’s detailed line-item quotes; we just kept expanding the scope to upgrade finishes. We feel like we got what we paid for in quality and attention to detail of the final outcome.

In 2022, I had Mammoth generate ideas and a quote for renovating my kitchen in Manhattan. They were excellent, especially Jessica, who visited the apt, took measurements, and gave me written quotes and ideas. Unfortunately, I had a job change and didn't end up staying in the apt to complete the renovation, but they were great in the early stages and I'm sure they would have done excellent work if I had stayed.

I was probably on the lower end of Maryana's clients in terms of available budget for the redesign and renovation of my apartment interior, but she was very creative and gave my living space exactly the feel that I was looking for. I wanted things to feel far less cluttered and I needed space to both work from home and for my music (playing and production). The overall design has a brightness and lightness to it that gives the space a very relaxing and spacious feel (even if my apartment is a little less than 600 square feet). I loved the creative use of plexiglass for all of my table top surfaces. Shout out to the carpenters (B'capri interiors) that she chose too that made my new space a reality. Through the redesign of my space, Maryana also showed me how to arrange and organize all of my things so as not to create clutter. She’s pretty amazing on all of these fronts. All in all. I definitely recommend working with Maryana and Mammoth projects. To be able to work with Maryana effectively, your budget is going to have to hit some minimum threshold. She’ll be honest with you from the start about this. But given that you can hit this threshold, she can absolutely work with your budget to come up with some amazingly creative solutions accordingly. I am very happy with how my space turned out overall. The space ended up looking so good that Maryana wanted to submit the work to a design publication and we did a full day photoshoot of the space accordingly.

Jessica consistently communicated to keep my updated on progress and was transparent about costs (up or down), delays or any other updates. I took on my project during a very busy time at work and Jessica proved to be a trusted partner to get the job done. I’m already working on my second project with her, and would recommend her and Mammoth to all my friends, family and colleagues.

Maryana was an absolute breeze to work with, and is so so talented. She navigated all the hurdles with grace, quickly offering up alternatives when supply chain issues kept us from getting first picks of furniture and arranging for special accommodations when some of the things ordered were too small for our building's minuscule freight elevator. And of course that's all in addition to being an excellent designer! Not for nothing she also got along famously with our dog who is an absolute terror whenever a stranger is in the apartment. Maryana could have a second career as a pet therapist if she wanted to.

I had the pleasure to work with Mammoth Projects on an apartment renovation for my new Harlem three-bedroom. We redid every room, which included a full gut of the kitchen and bathrooms, custom millwork for the bedrooms and living rooms, new flooring and wallpapering all over. My wife and I were afraid the process would completely consume our lives, but we had the opposite experience. Maryana and her team supervised every step of the construction from start to finish, and we were able to quickly get back to our own work and trust Mammoth completely with our new home. Maryana clearly put a lot of heart into the design, and we are proud to have a home with all kinds of original furniture, lighting, and cabinets that went so much beyond what we had planned, without going over budget. I fully recommend Maryana and Mammoth, as I had a great experience with their service and design.

I worked with Maryana first back in 2016 when my rapidly scaling tech startup outgrew our original tiny space and needed to establish a proper New York City office. What was amazing for us was she helped us think about aesthetics AND functionality, neither of which we were particularly good at. For the look - she partnered directly with our senior leadership team to ensure the space aligned with our culture, values, and brand. And for the utility - she was familiar with the ways modern companies need to work - conference room technology and soundproofing, snack stations (our staff's favorite part), comfortable desks, shared collaborative areas, and more. She liaised with our notoriously difficult building management, filed appropriate permits, met extremely tight deadlines, etc. Most useful to me was her inventiveness and adaptability - thinking outside the box was crucial when our business's needs were a moving target. The office opened on time and to the rave reviews of our employees. A year or so later - we had grown so fast we needed to open another entire floor of the office building - and I knew exactly who to call to make sure our second expansion went as well as our first. In addition to delivering high quality, affordable, industry-leading work - Maryana was quite enjoyable to work with and made the difficult moments fun. I would definitely recommend her and Mammoth Projects for your next job.

My company, Lucid, employed Mammoth Projects to redesign 30K sq ft of office space for a relocation. Maryana went above and beyond not only with regards to professionalism, but creativity and insight. The final product turned out to be an amazing space that optimized the natural light of the building as well as key (but subtle) New Orleans elements. With a space this large, one expects delays and problems - luckily Maryana and the team were able to ensure that any issues were minimal which made the move of our entire team seamless.

I feel very fortunate to have chosen Maryana from Mammoth Projects to design my kitchen project. I came into our meeting with some very basic ideas of what I wanted, and some specific design elements that I needed. Maryana had the talent to meld the two into one cohesive design, that worked beautifully in the space. She has a very elevated aesthetic that added layers of beauty and sensibility to the project. She is impressive in the way that she handles every detail of the process, from getting bids, to leveling bids , to making sure that the contractor's work meets her standards. She was a pleasure to work with and hope toward with her again in the future

After interviewing many designers, I hired Maryana from Mammoth Projects to help renovate my condo in New York. Maryana was amazing to work with and she managed our project seamlessly. She was able to work well within the budget and create stunning designs within my home. The highlights of the project outcome includes a floating fireplace in the living room and a stunning slate bathroom. Additionally, she was incredibly hands on with the contractors and made sure every inch of the project was done perfectly. I can't recommend Mammoth Projects highly enough. A commenté : Paint kitchen cabinets that are only 3.5 years old?The lighting is fine if it's LED. Not sure why everyone is hung up on this. No, don't paint these. WIll be a disaster. But you can swap out cabinet faces pretty inexpensively. I had a carpenter swap...
