Mary Weber Landscape Architecture

My wife and I had recently moved to Asheville from out of state and had built a new home high on a hill. As a long time believer in the value of good landscaping and wanting to do something appropriate for North Carolina someone suggested I contact Mary Weber. She designed a comprehensive plan for us that has attracted all kinds of birds, bees, butterflies…I sit on our front deck nearly every morning and enjoy their company. Recently with Mary’s guidance our “hill” was certified as a National Wildlife Habitat. We are a totally pleased client and enthusiastically recommend her for your project.

As the 2015 listing agent for The National Register "Annie Rose Morton" house in historic Grove Park, I was not surprised to learn Mary had designed the grounds! Intimate and classic in its design was an exceptional compliment to this near perfection arts and crafts cottage. After seeing good landscape architecture work for another resident in my neighborhood, and the very-professional Weber plans submitted to our Town's design review board, I contacted Ms. Weber about my own needs at my historic 1924 house. Besides engineering expertise replacing a driveway and other hardscape issues, I needed a master plan for horticulture enhancements suitable for my limited-maintenance requirement, the very shady growing conditions, our browsing deer and other wildlife issues, and a somewhat complex topography. The plans and costs were reasonable, the supervision and cooperation with the contractor were excellent, and I am pleased with the results. Ms. Weber has good listening skills, incorporating the client criteria appropriately and creatively into her recommendations. Her follow-through and billings are straightforward and professional.
