I have worked with this company for several years and have had excellent results. Greg designed my new home following the 1994 earthquake. In 2006 he developed plans for an accessory dwelling unit on my property. His creativity, design and vision are outstanding. To do this day I still receive compliments and inquires about this great architect. He assisted in helping me to address permits and city code regulations. Extremely helpful and I highly recommend him.

Greg and his associates are above and beyond, simply. From design conception to soft finishes, their skillset is superior. I've had the pleasure of working with them for multiple jobs & I return because I know that, similar to a movie concept, we can bring a client's vision to life with attention to budget, style and time. The collaborative energy is always prevalent, but years of experience have given Mass the ability to offer sage wisdom regarding a project that pays multiple dividends. We have purchased a vacant lot on a steep slope and and was unaware of the challenges the condition of the lot brought (we thought we were aware, but we were wrong). We initially hired a different architect but that architect we felt really didn't know how to design the house properly based on the lot conditions. So we then started to look for a different architect who has strong knowledge with the challenging conditions that the lot has and that's how we found Greg! Initially meeting Greg was a breath of fresh air as he was able to provide insights and make us feel excited again about building the house on our lot. He has a great eye and has a great understanding of what me and my husband are looking for. We then decided to hire Greg for his experience and the fact that his aesthetics aligned with ours, but with working with him more, we realized how easy it is to work with Greg. Throughout the design process Greg has always been our middle man as he's able to balance our needs for both aesthetic desires (that's me) and practicality (my husband). Not to mention that the city we're building at is having us all go through all these hoops before we can start building but Greg has always been there, giving us the support and providing the information needed by the city. He always has this calm demeanor which absolutely helps with the stresses that building a house brings about. Whenever we would want to make a change or would want to make something more than what it should be, he would always give his professional opinion and we are all leveled with what the space can provide and what it is for. Me and my husband would both say that throughout this process of building the house, hiring Greg was one of our best decisions. I really don't think that the house will come into fruition without Greg's expertise.. and did we already mention that we absolutely love the design? Because we absolutely do.

We worked with Mass Architecture on two different design and building projects over the years. The first project involved an enlargement of our home adding a master suite and bath, a new kitchen area, new bath and office/bedroom; PLUS an additional single car garage with an attached living area, bath, walk in closet & gym. We worked with Gregory Williams principal for Mass AIA and the result and the work was perfect. Working with Greg is a pleasure and very easy. He is creative, pleasant and easy to work with. The more recent project was adding another master suite to the rear of property with a master bath. Greg developed those ideas as well for us.

We have used MASS Architecture several times. Gregory is so easy to work with. Most recently he has been helping us with the permitting process and design for an addition to our craftsman house. His knowledge and sensitivity to the specifics of our 100-year-old house's architectural charms and design aesthetic are so reassuring! I highly recommend him!

Greg Williams of Mass Architecture & Design is a stone cold pro! He has taken us through each stage of the design/building process with ease, confidence and proficiency.
