Midtown Cabinetry & Designs specializes in designing, remodeling, and selling cabinetry for Kitchens and Bathrooms. Before founding the company in 2013, Matt Hegemier designed and sold cabinetry for an upscale kitchen design firm in the Houston area for more than 10 years. He also worked as a cabinet manufacturer's representative for a well-known cabinet brand, serving the Southeast Texas market. He even designed his first house when he was 12. Matt has a wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and professionalism to get the job done right and exceed client expectations. Midtown Cabinetry & Designs offers a full range of services, including project-specific consulting, measuring and design layout, materials selection, 3D computer rendering, and project management. I would like to thank Matt and Scott for their advice and design recommendations for our kitchen remodel and bathroom refresh. They are hands on from beginning to end. Their workers are professionals. We are very pleased with the end result. We realized more space to maneuver in the kitchen as well as more storage space with the new cabinetry. Let me start with, I love to cook and my kitchen is my happy place. When we purchased our 1976 built home 5 years ago, we knew we would need to redo the kitchen one day. When we finally were ready, I interviewed 5 different companies before deciding on Matt. His overall professionalism and clear attention to detail were what stood out most, along with his communication skills. He clearly communicated the plans, costs, and schedule prior to construction start and ruing construction to ensure we were all on the same page. This was a larger job, taking my kitchen down to studs, moving water, sewer, gas, upgrading electrical, and installing new floors, cabinets, walls, ceilings, and appliance. He was here daily checking on the project and answering my hundreds of questions. His designer, Scott, designed a beautiful kitchen and helped us pick out tiles that were a fantastic compliment to our renovation. The subs he had were AMAZING. They were professional, respectful of our home, and skilled in their trade. So much so, we will be hiring three of them to do other work on our home. Having been bitten by other, less reliable and honest contractors in the past, I was nervous about this job but Matt and his team really did a phenomenal job and we will be using them again in the future.

They listened to our needs and desires and offered realistic sound advice. We had many high quality options to choose from. Our cabinet installation was done meticulously by Rex and Ginny. Under the direction of our contractor John, our project ran smoothly. He offered the best customer service with timely feedback and updates. Raphael our framer, Lee & Peter our plumbers, Joe our painter, Rudy our trim carpenter, Brian our electrician were all fantastic. We hired Matt after a former colleague of his recommended him. We are so glad we followed the recommendation and contacted Matt! He’s extremely professional, trustworthy, thorough, very organized and reliable. He helped us plan our kitchen remodel every step of the way and he went above and beyond to offer advice about every aspect (so helpful bc this was our first major room remodel!). Matt helped us find beautiful products and he created an amazing design plan for us that stayed within our budget. He was attentive to every last detail and stayed in touch with us to make sure that everything was done to our complete satisfaction. Honestly, the most reliable contractor that we’ve ever worked with. His colleagues were also trustworthy and reliable, we felt completely comfortable having them in our home to do the work. Our small kitchen was brought to life from its former 1983 cabinetry and countertops and is now gorgeous and so much better functionally than we could’ve hoped. We will be contacting Matt at Midtown Cabinetry again when it comes time to remodel both of our bathrooms. Extremely pleased with this business, highly recommend!

Matt is an honors, trustworthy person and easy to work with. I can contact him after work or on the weekend for any questions I have and he will response within minutes. He will work around our schedule for people like us have full time job during the day. Matt helped us from budget planning, design advice, material selections to the entire house project completion when we had no idea what we were looking for the new changes at the time. He presented the options to fit into our budget and the outcome is exceeded our expectations. He helped us do the kitchen redesign, countertops, cabinets, appliances, and fixtures selections. Three and half bathrooms redesign and end results are so beautiful and we love it. We enjoy our new renovated house very much. I definitely recommend him and his crews for their details and amazing works.

I hired Matt to design and remodel my kitchen and master bathroom and several other various upgrades to my home. I wanted a clean, modern look that was also universally accessible. The master bath was completely torn out and redone. Matt made sure I was happy and everything would work for me every step of the way. The results were amazing and I couldn't be happier. I have the look I want and it's 100% accessible, without looking like it was specifically built for a wheelchair user. Also, the entire project came in almost exactly in line with the estimate (the only difference being upgrades I made along the way). I'm looking forward to working with Matt on future projects!

Midtown Cabinetry performed a kitchen remodel for us, including a matching hutch in the breakfast area. The remodel was from beginning to end, including design, demolition, and even wiping (cleaning) the cabinets before we replaced the dishes. Matt is extremely professional, polite, gives wonderful imaginative design advise if requested, patient, and treats you like his only customer. If we had questions regarding any aspect of the job, many times he surprised us by stating he would be right over to respond. On top of his professional attitude, our kitchen turned out gorgeous!

Midtown Cabinetry designed and performed a kitchen and fireplace remodel for us. Matt worked closely with us every step of the way. Very accessible and helped us select options that best fit our needs and tastes. Contractors for demolition, electrical, plumbing, painting, countertops, tile/flooring, and carpentry were all excellent, with good communications and daily cleanup. Work was done in a way that minimized the disruption over the two month project. Had full trust in Matt throughout the process, based on his consistent reliability in meeting commitments and budget. We were provided with a detailed project quote/budget with conceptual design drawings. Matt personally came out to oversee the work frequently, and was always available by phone or a visit to his nearby showroom. Matt was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We're very pleased with the remodel project and would highly recommend Midtown Cabinetry.

Midtown Cabinetry remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms. They installed new cabinets, countertops, a new whirlpool bath and new shower. Because we were neophytes, they gave us several options to choose. If you need help with the design of your remodel, they can help.The workers were professional. Matt gave us a complete cost appraisal before the job began. We decided to add a few extras after the job began and everything was done like we wanted. My wife loves her “new” house. I would definitely recommend Midtown Cabinetry

I had many concerns regarding the timeline and was very happy when the project was completed on time. We purchased a Deer Park home with good potential but in need of a bit more than just TLC. Met with Matt Hegemeir before we had even finalized a contract and he was easy to talk to about what kind of options we'd have in our budget. He came in prior to closing to start measuring and putting together a plan. As an engineer who once dabled in the idea of being an architect I thought I had a pretty good design idea, Matt's was better. We got an even more useful and better looking kitchen than I had hoped for. We love to cook and can do everything we need. His plumbing and tile contacts also saved us when our master bathroom renovation went awry and the electrician he brought on board got lots of dodgy DIY work up to a professional level. Everything was on time and on budget, no surprises at all. We highly recommend and look forward to partnering with Midtown Cabinetry & Designs again for other work in the years ahead.

Matt at Midtown Cabinetry did an an excellent job from the Kitchen design through the completion of the overall project. The design incorporated all the things I asked and more. His estimate for the work was done very professionally, and right on the money. The cabinetry is beautiful and the skilled cabinet work was done in a professional and timely manor. The job was a complete Kitchen renovation, And required opening some walls. Always available to answer questions, Matt, his contractor John, and all the craftsmen were courteous, on time, and finished their work as promised, leaving our worksite as clean as possible under the circumstances. Our family lived at home during the construction, with our dogs. and we very much appreciated the courtesy and concern everyone showed throughout the job. Designed and installed new kitchen cabinetry, countertop, tile backsplash and appliances. Project included design of cabinetry to work within existing footprint; demolishing existing cabinets; adding/updating electrical service as needed, updating plumbing, replacing sheetrock, as needed, installation of new cabinets, new solid surface countertops and sink, new tile backsplash and installation of appliances. Project completion timeframe was about one month. Project begun on 10-8-2015 and essentially completed 10-13-2-15. Old cabinets were removed so Habitat for Humanity could recycle them, at owners request. Job site was cleaned each day, tradesmen were courteous and punctual and always communicated with me. Matt Hegemier was professional and demonstrated knowledge of the work to be done, shared ideas and listened to my desires for the kitchen and was always available to answer questions. I have highly recommended this company to friends.

Matt designed our kitchen remodel. He is professional and personable at the same time. He designed and had the plans done in 1 day. Demo was started exactly when he estimated it would and was completed in the time frame he gave. Matt was available by text or phone and always called back. He would give us dates on when things would be expected and was at the house every time he had someone new coming in. I would definitely work with him again (I'm not sure he would say the same thing about me!) and would recommend him to anyone wanting a remodel.

World Class Contractor! When we were contemplating our kitchen renovation, our biggest worry was finding an honest and professional contractor who could finish the job in the shortest amount of time with quality work and integrity. Matt Hegemier certainly displayed all of those qualities from beginning to end of our project and managed to complete the job prior to the scheduled time frame. Our kitchen turned out to be a work of art with the cabinets we picked from Midtown Cabinetry & Designs. We loved all of the choices we were given from the very beginning when Mr. Hegemier met with us for measurements and design ideas. The constant communication through telephone calls, e-mails, and numerous personal on site supervision visits was greatly appreciated during the entire process. Matt Hegemire installed cabinets in my bathroom. I believe I received very good value for a reasonable price. The quality was nothing less that GREAT! They are beautiful, very rich looking and the quiet close draws and doors just added a feeling of beauty to the whole project. I would highly recommend his company to anyone who needs bath or kitchen work done.

I do remodeling of kitchens and baths and started using Matt with Midtown Cabinetry and Designs about 8 months ago. I have completed numerous project with him using his cabinets and have had very good success. He knows designs and works well with my clients. He has several full lines of cabinets to choose from in various price ranges so we can depend on him and his cabinets for any budget we have. He is very responsive and takes care of his business quickly and professionally. I would recommend him for any design and cabinet projects.

A commenté : where is the vanity from?These cabinets are from Bridgewood Cabinetry. The color is Stone with a pewter glaze which has been discontinued as stock color but they would always do this as a custom color.
