Working with the Nordby team was a dream! We had recently downsized and I had a vague idea about wanting a “garden room” to adjoin the kitchen area. Nordby Design was recommended by R Bloom. Julie and Jon Nordby created a space that is functional, beautiful and a joy to live in. Not only are they creative and professional but collaborative and actually fun to work with. They not only provided the design but recommended a great contractor with quality subs. All the design and selection services were done in our home. We particularly appreciated the clear and timely communication they provided throughout the project. Because our project was being done during Covid we were even able to stay in our home . In retrospect we recognize that our project was small but we never felt that we were not on the top of their priority list. They are truly a seamless team. Julie’s encouragement to incorporate our personal items into the design enabled us to have a finished product that reflects who we are. Jon even defined the TV screen for us. No request was too small for them.

Julie could not have been better at taking a blank canvas and making it perfect! She is so easy to work with, flexible, and very personable. she went out of her way many times to send me thoughts and ideas and also assembled much of the furniture that showed up when i was not there and got it all setup. Just perfect customer service I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for design help!

I have known Julie for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. From choosing paint colors, to remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms her taste is exquisite! It was a true pleasure working with Julie on my home remodeling project. Her expertise was the foundation of the whole project. Initially when Julie made selections with different styles and colors I was a little skeptical as I lack imagination in terms of how everything will look when it comes along, but when things started falling in place the house looked absolutely stunning. In picking up different materials Julie was very careful about the prices. Julie's services included redesigning and new layouts of masterbath, and picking up everybit of material from tiles/back splashes to light fixtures. In summary you can not go wrong with Nordby design studio. It is truly 5 star service.

Hired Nordby Design Studio to help with redecorating living/dining room, office, and bathroom. Julie Nordby has been outstanding to work with! In addition to creating different options for furniture layout and assisting with shopping for furniture/fixtures/paint, etc, she took the time to coach me through the process of the steps involved in replacing the counter/sink in the bathroom. Since I didn't hire a GC, her support was critical in helping me understand the steps involved and the types of contractors I needed to hire (fabricators, tiler, plumber, etc). She has been incredibly patient as I've changed my mind multiple times on furniture choices, has been flexible with her schedule to accommodate several last minute consults on color/fabric, and has been willing to play larger or smaller roles in selection of various items as my budget allowed. We are very happy with our final look and would highly recommend Nordby Design Studio!

Julie provided model home staging work. She used house plans to prepare for staging the model and when the home was completed, she oversaw installation of furniture and accessories. We have used Julie in the past for numerous such projects, as well as regularly seek her input on design matters. Always wonderful to work with and very professional.

I have know and worked with John and Julie on a number of projects and i would recommend both of them to anybody. They have such a great eye for detail and there designs always have such good flow and curb appeal to them. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to even the most complex projects coming up with excellent designs and finishes to produce very beautiful projects of all different kinds. As well as they are both just amazing people of character on honesty that they bring into every project with them.

A commenté : What was the total cost of the remodel?This exterior remodel was the main house and detached garage. Was between $250,000 & $300,000. That was back 8-10 years ago, who knows the cost would be today.
