founder/partner Born in Eskisehir, Turkey in 1962. Graduated from Istanbul, Robert College in 1980 and Istanbul Technical University Management Engineering in 1984. After 4 years of professional experience in finance, she studied interior and environmental design at UCLA between 1991-1994. She worked for Mozaik Design and Gungor Dekorasyon/Baker, Ralph Lauren from 1994 to 1998. She has been working as a freelance interior designer since 1998. After a short period as a contractor architect for Kemer Country Kemer Yapı, she held partnership with product designer Gamze Akay Güven for two years gaining experience in designing exhibition stands and office furniture. She is the founder and partner of Design of... Tasarim, Proje, Danısmanlık located first in Zekeriyakoy, now in Kemerburgaz, Gokturk with architect Funda Z. Varlık specializing in residential interior and furniture design since 2004. She has also been trying different principles of design such as sculpture, wood and porcelain painting. The designer's strongest assset is the ability to combine an architectural perspective with customer's requests and ideas. At the end, you don't feel out of place that some one else dictated but a place that carries your taste with a touch of style. Yes, this is what I call good design.

Oya's work in our house renovation project has been remarkable. We interviewed a few designers and hired Oya because of her vision, experience and flexibility. Our project was a complete tear down and build up of the living room, kitchen and bathroom areas. She was very creative yet patient during the design phase when we changed the plans a few times. It was refreshing to work with a designer who is not reluctant to create empty spaces, usually people push their own ideas to fill spaces with just things. Material selection is another area where Oya made a difference. She was there with us when we visited showrooms. We didn't have to get involved with the contractors during the construction phase, she was there to supervise and monitor them. Once the construction finished, we realized her true creative side. She paired contemporary and traditional pieces to create an elegant but fun living area for us while keeping it comfortable to live with kids. I highly recommend her, we will be working with her again when we redo our bedroom and master bathroom.

I hired Oya Cavdar for the interior design of our current home. Oya Cavdar and her partner, Funda, where always professional and easy to work with. Oya gives high attention to detail and will never cut corners to rush a project. She works with careful precision and gets it right the first time. Throughout our project, I always felt that Oya gave great importance to understanding our vision and every room in my house turned out exactly as we planned. There were no surprises - that's a good thing! Oya was able to understand what style my husband and I were wanting and then added in her own touches and designs that we absolutely loved!

A commenté : Need help - Office LobbyAlign the bottoms of the frames by lowering the one above the couch. Make sure to use color, mainly dark blue, teal tones on the shade of the lamp.
