Scott and crew helped to reinvent a damp, muddy area under a deck. Artificial turf was installed on a sand base bordered with pressure treated timbers. A walkway was built from large white granite pavers. We are out of the mud, have a bright walkway-people and dogs are comfy and safe. Heavy lifting, irrigation lines, transporting materials across HOA common area, precise installation, good advice and good humor made the project enjoyable. We will use PermaScapes again.

I hired PermaScapes this past August. Very professional. Although I have a small yard, it includes many trees and bushes. Our procedure is always: discussion of needs, decision, then it just gets done carefully, quickly, thoroughly without any mess. Scott and his crew were able to trim and thin everything in less time than expected. It was a joy to watch as they carefully assessed each bush and thinned each precise branch and limb. They extended the drip irrigation system and maintained the weekly lawn service plus deer fencing. Looking forward to ongoing service.

I have used Permascapes Unlimited Inc for the last 3 summers, and have been pleased with their cleanup in the spring and fall. They have done a nice job of trimming the bushes, clearing out flower beds, moving perennials and spreading mulch. They always clean up after themselves and remove all the waste and debris. Since hiring Permascapes my garden looks better every year.

I hired Scott Levine for my landscaping dream and I am so very glad I did. After interviewing many other landscapers who wanted to use chemicals to kill all my weeds, I was excited to learn of an alternative method that was more eco friendly & less damaging to the environment. Scott is easy to work with & really listens to your ideas, adding his experience to create a perfect plan. I love, love, love the custom fence we both designed for privacy & have had many compliments from friends & family. We are especially proud of the work that we have produced for you, Sue. You stuck with us through all the trials and tribulations of ordering the custom corrugated metal colors & profiles, and you allowed your yard to become a truly creative space; while also accepting all of the inherent risks that come along with experimentation over using tried & true methods. I do feel that your outcome is an example of some of our best work to date, in large part because you encouraged me to push the boundaries and operate where I do best.

I've heard it said that a laborer only uses his hands, while a craftsman is limited to his hands and his head, but an artist can perform work using the hands, the head and the heart all at once. Some days I feel like a laborer, and others a craftsman, but working in your yard has always made me feel like an artist, and I am grateful for that opportunity. Thank you for your positive review.

We have used Scott Levine for both sprinkler service and landscaping, from mowing to building outdoor walls and stairs. He has been professional, personable, knowledgeable, and cost-efficient. We plan to use his service more in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

Scott performed various yard and landscaping tasks from sprinkler system to planting vegetation. He is thorough and competent. His gentle nature makes him extremely easy to work with. The owners of the property are quite satisfied with the work and will continue to use his services.

I hired Scott Levine, owner of PermaScapes Unltd. to replace our old sprinkler system in Carbondale. He gave us a fair price and stuck with it, even though he had to put in an extra effort because of all of the rocks that he uncovered in the process. When the system was completed, everything worked perfectly. Scott did an excellent job, and I highly recommend him to anyone. He worked very hard and made sure that everything was perfect.

I hired Scott Levine of PermaScapes Unlimited to design and landscape my corner lot yard. He came up with a wonderful design and took into consideration all of my wants and needs. Scott also met with members of my home owners association to explain the project in detail. The first phase - irrigation - has been completed. Scott is a hard worker and shows up when he says he will. He and his crew work quickly and efficiently. I am looking forward to completion of my project this spring/summer. It will be beautiful!

Lisa is a close family friend and one of the first people to trust us with a landscape overhaul. The project is ongoing, but we have built onto it steadily over the last three years and it's starting to look truly spectacular. Lisa also allowed us to experiment with recycling her trash sod that we tore up during demolition into berms for the new garden beds, which turned out to be a resounding success. We have since implemented similar techniques on several other projects, and the methodology has been instrumental in helping us develop our concept of "zero-waste landscaping." Thank you Lisa, I hope your trip to the far south was a blast!

PermaScapes (owner Scott Levine) was very professional to work with on my xeriscaping and fruit tree consultation. This company also offers more maintenance tasks (i.e. irrigation system blowouts) but their unique knowledge is with permaculture landscape design and sustainability efforts that help residents live closer to the land. I highly recommend Scott and Permascapes
