Pervious Products

It was a pleasure to work with Ryan on the sustainable garden design I did for my client where we replaced hardscape surfaces with pervious concrete and PerkTop. Due to a slope on the driveway, Ryan installed mini-berms under the surface as well to ensure that the rain water that drains through the permeable surface has time to percolate into the groundwater reserves. The color and the banding and corners all look sharp. Ryan and Devon installed more than enough conduits under the new hardscape so that the lighting and irrigation I specified could be easily installed later. Ryan and his team are diligent, on-time, show great attention to detail, work with the issues of the site and produce a great end-product. Ryan Marlinghaus did a beautiful job on our driveway; converting a too-heavily stamped, hard-to-walk-on surface to a clean, tan sheet of pervious concrete. As a bonus, he was able to install much of it as a veneer over the existing concrete, saving us the expense and unpleasantness of jackhammering it out. Of course, that section won't be permeable. Ryan's pervious concrete should solve a problem we had where rainwater would pool on the driveway and run under the garage door. Now, it should pass right through to the ground. All we need is a good rainstorm to test it. Ryan was easy to work with, diligent, and very hard-working. I would absolutely hire him again to solve similar problems.

I built a new house last year including extensive hardscaping on a gentle slope. As a key part of the project, Ryan Marlinghaus and his crew installed several hundred linear feet of Perktop walkways. They were a joy to work with and the finished product is beautiful as well as practical. Rainwater drains through the PerkTop capped concrete as fast as through decomposed granite (DG) without the mess (does not get tracked into the house) and maintenance associated with DG.
