Jeanie has been a very good partner to work with that we have used on half a dozen projects (baths, kitchen, third floor family room, office, bedrooms, garage) who has a good sense of balance, clean lines, and has a good working relationship with trades and city zoning and preservation approvers. Jeanie did a fantastic job with our historically correct addition/remodeling project to our 1893 landmark house. We had no issues passing Evanston's Historical Review. We also received a 12 year historical preservation property tax freeze through the State of Illinois. Jeanie paid attention to detail; listened to us through out the project; and was very responsive to the GC and us.

We worked with Jeanie to redo almost the entire first floor of our house (kitchen, dining room, mudroom, bathroom, and office). Jeanie has great architectural style, beautiful design sense, and an ability to imagine the final product before a single wall has been demolished. My husband and I have very specific tastes, and Jeanie quickly figured out our style and helped us to achieve our vision. I have recommended her to many friends who have all loved working with her as well. If you use Jeanie as your architect, you will not be disappointed...but you may never leave your house again because you will love it so much!

I hired Petrick Architecture to remodel 3 bathrooms in a 150-year old Evanston home. Jeanie did a fantastic job from start to finish. After extensive consultation, she designed 3 great bathrooms that, while contemporary, have a classic, clean aesthetic that smoothly meshes with and sensitively references this historic home. Her attention to detail was extraordinary, both in the overall design and in ensuring the best choices of fixtures and materials, while keeping an eye on the budget and schedule and informing me of trade-offs as choices needed to be made. She found and worked extremely well with the contractor, making sure we all stayed on the same page throughout the process. In previous projects, I've had architects who "handed off" a project to a contractor and then largely receded from view. In contrast, Jeanie remained actively engaged throughout, helping strategize decisions as we uncovered "interesting" features behind the walls of this historic home. My family is very happy with the result, and I would recommend Jeanie highly to anyone contemplating a home architecture project.

I met Jeanie few years ago at one of the projects in Evanston IL, she was the architect + interior designer and I was GC. After this project I realized that she is a great professional who I and my co-workers enjoy working with and we have done number of projects together.
