So you have driven over broken concrete on your driveway for a long time and you are really getting tired of the bumps. Well let us remove the old concrete and pour a perfect driveway! One with expansion joints as needed, a pretty picture frame edging and a light broom finish.. Wow just like that you have a beautiful driveway. After my visit and measurement of the job site, I turn around and provide a sketch along with detailed estimate of every item listed on the quote. I,have had quite a few estimates for hardscapind and planting trees. I still couldn't find what I wanted until I met Phil Polak. The owner of Sod Sales Direct. They do high quality work. The go over and beyond with their work. They are honest and reliable. If you have any questions or problems with anything, they take care of it immediately. I highly recommend them. They give you more for your money, compared to a lot other landscapers. Just a over all great company. I highly recommend them!!

Phil is genuinely one of the best people we've ever worked with. He, Francisco, and the rest of the team transformed our backyard in only 3 weeks. This included complete demolition of our back patio, a new fence, new patio, a retaining wall, irrigation, and landscaping. From the first day he came to tour the property to the last day they cleaned up and left the job site, he was nothing but professional, kind, and punctual. Call Phil Polak 678-575-7676. I had two drainage issues and "Oh, by the way, I expect it to look pretty, too." Meanwhile... 27 pallets of fescue sod, 60 new shrubs and trees, 10 cubic yds of mulch, 87 ft. drycreek bed, 35 rolls of pine straw, new irrigation system and drainage issues solved. And it's beautiful, thanks, Phil!

CALL PHIL!! Phil is truly a pleasure to work with. He had great design ideas for my backyard that I didn't consider possible, and he never tried to "sell" me anything. He's passionate about his work. He has ideas. The way he approached my project made me feel like he was working on his own yard. His team worked Monday thru Saturday for two straight weeks to complete a job that other companies said was impossible or would take 4-6 weeks. If I had another backyard to remodel, Phil would be my guy! Another positive experience was the quote process. Phil provided a quote the same day, whereas other companies needed at least a week. And Phil spent 1:1 time with me on the design and the estimate, returned to my house to review details, etc. until the design and price was exactly what we wanted. Once the job started, another positive was that Phil was on the job site more often than not to make sure the work was getting done correctly.

Phil and company installed a new back yard irrigation system, zoysia sod, and new fence for me. I could not be more pleased. The whole process was effortless, and his price was fair. He took my really bad, weed-ridden, fescue back yard and turned it into a beautiful, peaceful retreat. He did as exactly as he said he would do. We are extremely pleased with the work recently completed by Phil and Sod Sales Direct in our front yard. They created exactly what we had imagined: a level front yard with a curved retaining wall, a paver sidewalk, generous planting beds at the front of the house and near the mailbox, and a lush lawn. We got everything we wanted - quickly and beautifully executed, on schedule and on budget. A few years ago, we hired Phil & his crew to complete a HUGE backyard makeover for us, and like our front yard, the outcome of our backyard project was also a fantastic success. I had a wonderful experience working with Phil and his team on some drainage issues in my backyard. Phil came to my property and scoped out the project in two different phases/options, as I requested. He provided a schematic and itemized quote with his recommendations in less than 24 hours. He made it very easy for me to review this information with my partner and was available for questions. When it came time to do the work, Phil's team was prompt and efficient. They did such a careful job that aside from the new lawn drain, you would not know that they installed 20 feet of piping under my grass!! They put everything back exactly perfectly and even asked me where they could put the extra soil they took out of the ground and didn't just dump it, they thoughtfully spread it out. During the job, Phil himself came by to check out the progress and collect payment. Now that a couple of months (and many rainstorms later) have gone by, my former nasty mud patch has turned into lush and beautiful grass (see photo), and the lawn drains quickly whenever there is a storm. I am currently saving up to have Phil fix the front of my house and have given his information to a number of friends and family. I can't recommend working with Sod Sales Direct enough!!

We are several months past the completion of our project, so this is overdue. Sod Sales Direct transformed several problem areas of our property, taking them from eyesores to areas of beauty! Phil and team were successful in resolving drainage and erosion issues for our woodland yard that other contractors had previously failed on, plus he worked with us to come up with plantings and other features to further beautify our landscape.
