Prestige Residential Construction

We have had the privilege of working with Prestige building custom cabinetry for several projects. They have always been a pleasure and very reasonable to work with. I would highly recommend them!

We have used Prestige for two large scale projects on our late thirties Tudor. Most recently was a full kitchen and dining room remodel. We have had a wonderful experience working with Prestige. Their project manager and onsite construction lead were a fantastic team. We were kept well informed of progress and budget trajectories. The professionalism was top notch. We were able to trust in their ability and dedication to the project from the beginning. In fact they made what could have been a very stressful project into a project that was actually fun to undertake. Their sub contractor relationships were really strong and the quality of work top notch. Prestige's craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't have hoped for a better working relationship and the end product has become the true heart of our home. We couldn't recommend them more highly and plan to use them on future projects.

We have this amazingly beautiful kitchen, family room, mud room, and powder room today. All due to team work, quality minded work ethics, and this insistent need to satisfy the owners (US!). We ended up changing the scope a little but PRC crew were able to bring the project to completion without adding too much to the end date of the project. Post project items like exterior painting were scheduled and managed professionally.

I have used Prestige Residential Construction for 2 home remodeling projects. The first involved a small bathroom remodel where we retiled and replaced an enclosed shower stall with a new glass enclosure, new tile floor and put in new shower tiles on the wall. The second remodeling job involved adding extra square footage to an existing kitchen, moving and expanding an existing laundry room and office space and replacing an old deck in our backyard and adding a new covered canopy area for our bbq grill. This kitchen/deck project took approx. 5 months to complete as we kept adding additional home improvement jobs to the project. For both remodeling jobs, Prestige handled the project professionally and brought in many qualified subcontractors to complete the work. We loved working with our Site Superintendent, Bob Berg-Johannessen who never said "no" to any of our requests and was extremely professional in the handling all construction issues, big or small. The only "downside" that I have about the company is that they are not inexpensive to work with so if you are looking to save money, you may want to keep a close eye on how much additional work you want them to do for you and how many change orders you make during the course of the project.

Prestige worked with us on our remodel even though we did most of the design ourselves. Many of the other companies refused because they wanted to design/build it themselves. They were flexible and made alterations along the way. Their weekly meetings were helpful in keeping everyone on the same page. They were expensive, but their work matched the cost: They take pride in delivering a very high quality project. In construction, and remodeling in particular, you get what you pay for. They also work with vetted sub contractors and oversee/guarantee their works as well. The Prestige employees, from the lead carpenter to the marketing manager and the owners, are all professional, communicate in a straightforward manner, and maintain a sense of humor. All traits that are necessary given the stress of building and remodeling!

We had a great experience with PRC from the initial brainstorming/planning stage all the way through to celebrating the completion of our beautiful new kitchen and so much more. PRC has an integrity which assures complete honesty in the planning and implementation process. The initial bid may seem high but it is realistic and you know up front what the project will cost, how much time and "inconvenience" to day-to-day life it will cause. We were out of our kitchen and main level of home for about 3 months but every day came home to a clean space and, with some minor accommodations, were able to live in our home. The result was a beautiful modern space that fit into our nearly 100 year old home with timeless beauty and updated function. We recently sold our home and the kitchen was the primary "wow" factor in the quick sale. We highly recommend Prestige Residential Construction, Jeff & Teresa Santerre and their whole staff.

Prestige built my house from the ground up, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Their integrity, skill, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service surpassed even my very high expectations, and they held their subcontractors and vendors to similar standards. They stuck to the budget that I approved and informed me promptly if adjustments had to be made due to circumstances beyond their control. If I were to have another project, from a very small remodel to another custom home, I would not even consider another contractor - Prestige would be the first call I would make. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I've been in my house more than six years and continue to use Prestige's Home Services department regularly for small jobs; they continue to take superb care of me and my home. I recommend them without reservation.

Prestige has done 2 major house remodels for us. The second one was a complete gut of a 1929 brick tudor to open it up inside and install large windows to take advantage of the lake views. They have been unfailingly courteous, creative, perfection oriented and close to budget and time deadlines. Their followup has been excellent as well. Even though we have now been in our house for 3 years, we just used them again to change an outdoor walkway to make it wheelchair accessible. We would use them again without question. The house has won several prizes including most recently the Best in American Living Remodel of the Year. and been shown in many magazines.

This is a great company with an excellent team. It's been my privilege to partner with them on projects and each time I'm so pleased with their professional approach. My clients are pleased with the attention to detail and appreciate the communication loop provided by all who participate. They are prompt, thorough and execute to precision standards. One of my absolute favorites! The outcome is always outstanding.

As a supplier of high quality wood doors, we had the opportunity to work with Prestige Custom Builders recently and they were excellent. They were very thorough and professional and built a very beautiful home. The quality of their work is second to none.
