I highly recommend Prime 1 Builders. The quality of work is top notch! They completed an addition and turned a side porch into a laundry/mudroom along with several other projects within our home. They completed the project within 3 months. They were timely and adept throughout the implementation. The Prime 1 employee’s and the subcontractors on site were courteous, kind, and professional. Excellent communication! Always keeping us well informed. They came everyday at 7am and kept the project moving along efficiently. We are overjoyed with the results and love our new spaces!

We did a significant renovation that included a new structure as well as renovating portions of a 100 year old house. It was a challenging project due to the age of the structure (i.e. they don't build them like that anymore). Dan and his team were the pinnacle of professionalism throughout the entire process. Like any significant project, there were some unexpected challenges, but Prime 1 always approached them with a practical rationality and calmness that you only get with years of experience. You can tell he truly cares about his reputation and customer satisfaction is his primary goal. There was constant communication throughout the process and there was never a time that I couldn't get a hold of Dan or one of his foremen. The final result is exactly what we envisioned and is magnificent. I’ve done many projects over the years with a variety of contractors (see old house above), and I put Prime 1 at the top by a wide margin. I highly recommend them.

From the quote and design phase through project completion, the Prime1 team has been a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job on our home addition. Our project scope was ambitious, demolishing the neighboring house and adding a new: -Living room -Master bedroom -Master bathroom -Mud room -Powder room -Expanded deck -3 car garage with long driveway -Full basement with bar and dance room Dan and his team were onsite each day during the 6-month project, using a combination of Prime1 employees and sub contractors to quickly move through the build. They took great care to minimize the impact to our family during construction. Like Dan, the project managers, crew and office staff at Prime1 are not only skilled craftsman but nice, caring and empathetic individuals. For such a large project, it was an enjoyable experience for my family - largely because of the employees at Prime1. A few items to highlight: -We really appreciated the extra effort from Dan and the team throughout the project. Whether it was making sure our house was protected before a large rain, removing extra dirt from the site or coordinating with the gas company on our generator as just a few examples – Dan, Adam, Houston and the rest of the team were always available and willing to help. -The team of project managers (Adam and Houston) added tremendous value to the overall project. Coordinating between us, the Prime1 team and subcontractors ensured things moved smoothly and items were not missed. -Having worked with other contractors, I can say Prime1 has impressive finishing skills. All of the little details from carpentry and drywall to pavers and decking were designed thoughtfully and then executed at a craftsman quality. -Prime1 was upfront with any challenges or changes during the project. We worked together to problem solve when needed and they would always would error on the side of more/better/quality. -The team consistently started on time, completed on time and make sure the job site was safe and clean each day. As mentioned above, it was hard to imagine this much work could be completed in 6 months but they finished on time and within the budget we set. We are extremely satisfied with the quality and value Prime1 provided during our project. I would highly recommend them and would be happy to be a reference now or at any point in the future. Summary: If you’re looking to build a custom home or addition in the Pittsburgh area, I would strongly recommend Prime1 after a positive multi-year experience beginning July 2021 and continuing to present day, April 2023. Note: This was our first time working with a custom builder. My husband first contacted Prime1 in July 2021 when we were looking to buy a house in the Pittsburgh area and build a small “mother-in-law” unit on our future property. From the beginning, Dan and his staff were very responsive in answering our questions. When we were seriously considering a house, they would come out to determine the feasibility of building the in-law unit. We worked with Maria, their architect, during the design phase with construction scheduled for early 2022. This was a long, mostly passive/async phase punctuated with a sync meeting every month or so as our preferences were transformed into professional drawings and engineering plans. Construction ultimately began in May 2022 with Eddie as our project manager (this was his first time as the lead project manager) and completed in mid-October 2022. While the build phase was not perfect, I never expected it to be, and Prime1 was quick to notify us and resolve any issues that came up. Again, the completion time of this phase was within the original estimate provided, and Prime1 actually anticipated many of the supply chain issues in advance to keep things going very smoothly with very little in the way of delays. We are now 6 months into our one year warranty period, and I have been largely happy with them as they completed the agreed upon follow-up work and have come out twice for minor warranty fixes.

We completed a two story addition on our 1930s home with Prime1 this past fall. We absolutely love our new kitchen and master bath and couldn’t be happier with the results. The foreman that was here each day was wonderful. He was patient and kind with our dog, our kids, and our endless daily questions. The entire crew was fantastic. They were respectful and took time to explain everything to us in detail. We are thrilled with the addition and are thankful to Prime1 for helping us to realize our vision and for their commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Prime 1 builders built a 3 story addition on to our existing house including two new bedrooms, 2 new kitchens, 2 new bedrooms, a finished basement, a new deck, driveway and patio. We are very happy with the end work product and have had a good experience working with them. The team they had on site communicated well with us and made excellent suggestions based on their experiences to ensure that we would be happy with the outcome. An example of this is a recommendation to widen, by a few inches, a very long new hallway vs. what our architect recommended. Living there now, these extra few inches made moving furniture easier and not claustrophobic, and we don't notice the 'lost' inches in the bedroom at all. They kept us informed on any issues or delays, most of which were around material availability and supply chain issues (our project started Nov. 2021). When an issue occurred, their work process was to include us in the discussion around options and solutions and with that we were able to quickly determine a new path and keep progressing. When delivery issues came up, such as a delay with our windows, the team quickly discussed with us options for what we could do to adjust the project plan. The only real challenge we had through the project were the dip in communication when P1 had personnel changes, but Dan and our foreman, Houston, were always available and happy to address our questions or concerns. The P1 team also uses very high quality, professional subcontractors. Our plumbers/HVAC, electricians, concrete, and cabinet team all were Dan's recommendations and trusted subs. All of whom were extremely professional and competent in their craft. They also were wonderful about explaining their work and getting our feedback if there were multiple paths forward. All of them were careful and treated our home and project with care and consideration. The other great thing about working with P1 is that they had standard work hours, so I knew that we could expect people at our house from 7-3, and they made sure to let us know if we should expect late or (rare) weekend work, which allowed us to have a sense of normalcy in our afternoons and evenings. They also made sure to match the existing finishes as closely as possible to create cohesion between the 'old house' and addition. We continued to live on site throughout, and the disruption to our life was as expected and minimal compared to the size of the project. . We are very happy with the result, we received a very high quality work product and they followed our design and plans to give us exactly what we asked for. We would absolutely use their services again for any future projects we have.

Prime 1 was great to work with. All of their employees from the Owner to the office staff to the workers on site were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The cabinet maker Prime 1 referred us to was an Amish company who built some of the best kitchen cabinets I have ever seen. Being a woodworker myself, I was very impressed with the quality. The framers (another Amish crew) also did an outstanding job on the structure which presented many design challenges from our architect.

Prime 1 Builders, Dan Meade and his entire staff from the beginning to the end did a wonderful job building our "Dream Home!" Professional skilled craftsmen, knowledgeable, energetic and reliable. We just want to express our gratitude to Prime 1 Builders for bringing the vision of our home to life with a beautiful, distinctive 3-story addition. The high quality of detail, craftsmanship and skill are evident in the final home but it was the team at Prime 1 that made it truly an incredible experience for us. We're certain that there were disruptions or mistakes, which are to be expected, but they were seamless to us! The Prime 1 team became family and they made the entire process fun! We love coming home each day and feel blessed to raise our family in the home they've built for us. It's the home we've always dreamed of!

We built our home during Covid which brought on challenges for Dan and his team that had not been seen before and they navigated these changes by being on top of supply chain issues with forethought and professionalism. We had never built a home before and were completely clueless but Prime 1 guided us every step of the way! Shannon, his office coordinator stays on top of any issues that arises and communicates with all parties involved to get a resolution in a timely manner. It is difficult to pick your furnishings because you go to different companies to pick floor, cabinetry. granite, etc. because he uses top of the line products. We were concerned if it would all look good together and we did not fail as our home is so beautiful that it could showcase. Our biggest compliment we can give Prime 1 is that Dan makes himself always available to talk to you about any concerns you may have. We are finally getting settled in our new home and love it. As with all new homes, there are things that may need tweaked and Prime 1 continues to stand behind their work and is there to makes things right. We highly recommend Prime 1 to build you your dream home!

Our project was a two story addition on top of a new garage off the back of our 1930's era brick Tudor house. We had worked with contractors on smaller projects in recent years but had not undertaken anything of this magnitude. As with many in the neighborhood, we had long debated whether to add on or buy a bigger house. Without a doubt, we are very glad we did the addition. We met with three 'design/build' firms initially and felt the sticker shock that many experience. This is a natural part of the process. In hindsight, the pricing was reasonable and similar across the firms. We just needed some time to think through the trade offs that were driving the price. We also decided to work with our own architect, which we recommend, since the price is relatively minor and it gives you direct input to design decisions, as opposed to running them through your builder, quite possibly to that same architect. Once you realize that additions are expensive but can give you exactly what you want - as opposed to spending a lot on a bigger home and still compromising - it is all about 'fit' with the builder. Dan at Prime 1 is incredibly experienced across a wide range of projects, and we were struck by his comfort level with what we felt might be a fairly complicated project. We needed to tie into a brick house with a slate roof and try to match the hardwoods, work around radiators, etc. It all seemed standard to Prime 1, which gave us a lot of comfort. Our perspective from earlier projects was that work happened sporadically - it almost felt like you had to chase people to get them to focus on your job. Prime 1 was nothing like that. Once the work started, the crew showed up like clockwork, 7 AM every day. You will have a foreman who leads the day to day activities from start to finish, and the crew from Prime 1 is largely consistent throughout. The subcontractors are also pretty standard and have long standing relationships with Prime 1, so it feels like everyone has a stake in your success. This is your 'team' - they become a part of your life for a period of time. We are quite happy with the finished product and feel that Prime 1 helped to steer us through a wide range of design decisions all along the way. It does not stop with your 2-D drawings - once you are underway, surprises inevitably come up - some are aesthetic, some are structural, but all feel important - and you want to have a guide that has been through it all before. We see this as the true value in Prime 1 and would definitely recommend them for larger home additions and renovations.

Did an amazing addition on my older home (built in 1930). Dan and his crew did great work and were very professional. He put in the extra time to make sure things were done right and alerted me to issues with my project that were outside of his scope (Had another contractor doing a large scale hardscape/landscape project). I would definitely recommend Dan and Prime1 if you have a large scale remodeling project or addition.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Prime 1 Builders, from the initiation phase all the way to final completion. We did an extensive remodel of an apartment, including the kitchen which required moving walls, the addition of recessed lighting throughout, modifications to the master bedroom and master shower.

Prime 1 completed an addition to our home in May 2019. The addition consisted of opening the kitchen’s back wall and adding a den, full bath, laundry room and deck. Below that was a 2 car garage. Dan and his employees did excellent work. Neighbors living nearby even commented on the quality of the construction going on at our house. The final product is very comfortable and a great addition to our home. Whenever problems arose, Dan was on top of it immediately and able to find solutions. He was always responsive to our questions. No large construction project ever goes perfectly, but Prime 1 makes an effort to keep its customers happy and satisfied with the result! We would definitely use Prime 1 again for work at our home.

Although we decided to postpone our build for now, we found Prime 1 to be extremely helpful during our initial stages of planning and budgeting our home. My husband and I hired Prime 1 Builders to finish the lower level of our new home. Our goal was to create an exercise area, game room with wet bar, a storage room, furnace room and a full bathroom. Dan Meade runs a top-shelf company. Prime 1 is everything you would want when signing a contract and making an investment in your property. Our job was to be 3 ½ months but dragged out due to a shipment delay (one of my personal selections) and the Covid 19 restrictions. Dan and team built an investment property for us which, unexpectedly, ended up being an award-winning property with the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh in the category of 55+ housing - under $350k. The job was completed in approximately 6-7 months, which was well ahead of expectations. It was a stick-build home plan that was discovered through an internet site, and required a few "tweaks" to satisfy our wants and needs. Dan and team sat with us during plan review and made wonderful recommendations via his extensive experience. Through the entire process, the attention to detail, as well as the customer service provided, were both exceptional. Prime 1 was flexible with us on all aspects of the design/build....even with a few changes mid-stream (such as additions to the project during the build process). New home builds are never perfect... however when issues arose, Dan hit them "head on" and corrected them. Even when we found an issue a month or so after move-in...Dan was very easy to reach, and again... resolved the issue. With our experience, it is very evident how he and his employees take pride in their work...and, due to our great experience, we are now in the beginning stages of working with them on an addition to our own home.

We retained Prime 1 Builders for an addition and porch remodel. They were wonderful. The workers were very respectful of our personal space and time. The communication was also very good - they kept us apprised of any cost issues and house issues. When we raised any concerns they were immediately addressed. The addition looks like it was a part of the original house - which is very important. I would recommend them without hesitation.

After Prime 1 did a terrific job with our bathroom remodel and a portico addition to the front of our home, we knew they were the right team to tackle our biggest home project yet- removing a deck and building an integrated garage with covered patio over it. In 2011 I completed a six story mid rise building at 501 Grandview Avenue in Pittsburgh PA. I did not complete the build out of three of the units opting for the completion when the units were sold. I sold a unit on the third floor on October 15, 2017 with occupancy scheduled for December 2018. Due to this tight construction window I realized that I needed to hire a professional who can respond and complete the project to meet this deadline. Prime ! met and exceeded my expectations. From the diligence they put in scoping out the project to the detail in the finished work, we have been very pleased. We had Prime 1 build a two-story addition to an older house in the city. The project involved knocking walls down, building the new structure from the foundation up, and ultimately matching the details to the old house. It was not an easy job, but they handled all the surprises an old house can bring with professionalism, fairness, and ingenuity. In addition to the workmanship of Prime 1, everyone we dealt with were genuinely nice people. What we found is that, when you have people working on your home every day for months, a friendly report is a very important thing. They were respectful to our family and also to our neighbors during the course of our project. We are extremely pleased with our "new" home. My wife and I hired Prime1 for a complicated commerical/residential project involving the adaptive reuse of parts of an old building that dates from 1890 plus plenty of new construction. From the beginning to the end they were professional and timely with the business aspects (contract, money, inspections, etc.) and hard working and good problem solvers on the construction end. It was a very complicated project and they were wonderful. Bottom line, I'd hire them again. I would particularly like to recommend Prime1's lead builder/manager JC Comer. His honesty and depth of knowledge are truly impressive. I would also like to mention their excellent sub contractors: RC Mechanical (HVAC), Molyneaux Electric, and Confluence Painting. Dan Meade has built a great team and he and his people have been a pleasure to work with.

We hired Prime 1 for a custom addition project that other contractors felt was over their head. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that Prime 1 had a supervised crew onsite nearly every day weather permitting. Our neighbors commented not only on the quality of the work, the timeliness in which it was completed, but also the behavior of the staff who arrived early and stayed late, kept the noise to a minimum and always cleaned up after themselves. Dan and Shannon were always accessible and quick to return phone calls, Dan shared builders advice for things we were doing ourselves and always had good insight. No only would we hire Prime 1 again, we would also work with their subvendors Chris, John, Steel City, and RC Mechanical etc...

We hired Prime1 Builders to build a first floor master bedroom, master bath, walk-in closet, laundry room, powder room, pantry and add to our basement. Prime 1 was very professional and accommodating. The project took 3 months to complete and my wife and I couldn't be happier. Dan and JC were very professional and knowledgeable. The subs they hired were just as professional. We had a few issues during construction, as any project will, but they were resolved with no problem. One of the things we wanted was a shower with no transition and no glass. They worked with Steve, the subcontractor, to make it happen and it turned out beautifully. We also wanted to add a pad and deck for a swim spa that we were installing ourselves. They worked with us to ensure the walls were reinforced to support the extra force on the basement wall. They even worked with the cement contractor get the pad poured. We would definitely hire them again!

We hired Prime 1 to place a two story addition on our 1925 city home. It consisted of an open concept first floor that included a new and larger kitchen, a family room, a powder room, mud space with new wood floors throughout. On the second level, we added a master suite and a new second level bathroom. During our initial meeting, we were immediately impressed with Dan's professionalism, knowledge and his listening skills. He truly heard our wants and needs for this extensive project. Prime 1's design-build concept was perfect for bringing to fruition our many thoughts on how to make our home function better and allow us to remain in it for many, many years. We utilized the architect that he recommended, Maria Wilson, and we were very pleased by how easily it was to work with Dan and Maria during the design process. As the project was happening, we were impressed by the quality of the work, the communication with us and the professionalism of everyone in our home. Dan and his team transformed our home and completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule for us. Dan promised us a finished product and the team definitely delivered this for us. Most important to us throughout this project was the continual level of communication. Anytime that there was something to discuss or a minor bump in the project, we felt that we were heard and the whole Prime 1 team worked to ensure that we were happy with the results.

We purchased a condominium built by Dan and Prime 1 Builders and love our home. Dan and his team worked with us to totally customize the layout of the home, the finishes, and design. We highly recommend anyone looking for a quality reliable builder to reach out to Dan and Prime 1 Builders.

We just finished an extensive kitchen renovation with Prime 1 Builders and we are so pleased with the results! Over the years we have gone through 2 kitchen renovations, 3 bathroom renovations, added a family room, and have built 2 houses and so have dealt with MANY contractors. When we were thinking about starting our kitchen project we were looking for a good contractor to use and found an ad for Prime 1 Builders in our community magazine. The reviews on Houzz looked great so we gave them a call. We can't say enough how pleased we were with their professionalism from the moment the phone was answer on that first call. We were made to feel like our project was as important to them as it was to us. Communicating with them was so easy and we were kept up to date on every aspect of the project. We had several home meetings before a contract was signed and everything was spelled out in the contract. If we wanted to make changes during the process, we filled out a "change order" and were told the cost of the change and how many days it would add to our project. Our project came in on time and there were no surprises in the end with the cost. The workmanship on the project was great and there was someone at our house everyday working. If there was some reason that they would be late, we received a phone call or were told the day before so we knew what to expect. Someone from Prime 1 was always at our house even if the major work for the day was being completed by an independent contractor. The process of selecting appliances, paint colors, flooring, etc. was made very easy. Prime 1 made suggestions as to where to go, we made the selections, then Prime 1 placed the order for the items when the time was right. We would highly recommend using Prime 1 Builders if organization, communication, and quality of work are important to you.

I have been working with Dan & his staff for numerous years. Prime1 is professional and works very hard to make sure all my projects with them are done to the customers full satisfaction. If something needs address, they handle is reasonable time frame and make sure customer gets the best job possible. In my opinion, they are a top notch contractor.

Customer beware. Cares only for his profit and schedule, we the customer, were always wrong. Screamed at my wife when he did not get his way. Later apologized. I have renovated 3 others houses found this builder least accommodating. Used sub he had no experience with. They worked for days without his supervision. New dry wall out of square throughoutl. Had to be redone, work commented on by other contractors coming through. 25% higher cost than his replacement.

Prime1 completed our project a little over a year ago. It was a fairly substantial job involving an addition on an older home with new family room, bedroom and bathroom, a kitchen remodel, new roof, siding and deck. We selected Dan and his team as they had extensive experience doing this type of work and had completed similar projects in our neighborhood with excellent results. Dan and his crew were very professional in their dealings with us. The project manager kept us posted on how things were going. The crew were friendly and polite, and we felt comfortable having them in our home. They were clean and tidy, making a significant effort to minimize the mess through planning and care (e.g. delaying breaking into the house, removing shoes in living areas, putting down floor covering in walkways, vacuuming etc.). The highlight is the kitchen. At Dan’s recommendation we got Amish cabinetry - beautiful cabinets and custom elements that would have been too expensive through regular channels. The workmanship on the entire project was great - even my perfectionist father was impressed. Overall we are very happy with our house and would not hesitate to recommend Prime1.

Prime 1 Builders built our new townhouse in 2016. They did a fantastic job. They take time to make sure they get everything just right. We were able to pursue some advanced wiring installation during the project that was coordinated well with multiple teams, the result of which is exactly what we were expecting. Instead of using cheaper materials, they are sure to use quality materials, and go above and beyond. They even upgraded the appliances they purchased for our home without asking, or charging us extra. Overall they have done a fantastic job and we have no complaints.

This is the second project that Prime 1 has completed on our home. This project involved the enclosure of our back porch to make a three season living space, that would also accommodate large groups of people at family gatherings. Once again Prime 1 employees provided exceptional craftsmanship and service throughout the project. This included receiving personal attention from everyone involved in the construction. We feel that all our concerns over construction and aesthetics were taken into account, and once again the end result was a beautiful, functional enclosed porch. Prime1 was our contractor for the construction of our 1800 square foot home. We had a design and specific style in mind that would fit with an historic structure that already existed on our property. After relaying this vision to Prime1, they took on both our project and our vision. Their capable architect took our rough plans and fleshed them out into plans that suited our needs. We were also impressed that Prime1’s owner, Dan Meade, took the time to research details that were historically accurate to our custom plan. In every step of the process, Prime1 went the distance to bring our vision to fruition, while being conscious of our budget. We were very happy with all of the contractors that Prime1 used. The quality of their work was excellent. As we had not been through the building process in the past, we were impressed that Prime1 and their contractors took the time to answer any questions that we had about the progression and details of the project. Their expertise inspired confidence in us, and we were not disappointed in the result of relying on their skill and experience. Our one disappointment was that our project manager unexpectedly left Prime1 halfway through our construction. However, we were pleased that Mr. Meade stepped in himself to finish the project and make sure that all was done to his high standards. Our finished home, which was completed ahead of schedule, is beautiful. We were well-pleased with our choice of Prime1 and would recommend their business to anyone, whether they be taking on a renovation or building their home from the ground up.

Prime 1 did an excellent job of designing and constructing a 2-car exterior garage. The owner, office staff and construction crew were all polite, efficient, concientious and skilled in their performance on the project. We are extremely pleased with the completed structure.

Prime 1 Builders did a complete renovation of our kitchen. This included: new cabinets, handles, sink/faucet, painting, back splash, countertops, garden window, electrical work, plumbing, all new appliances and refinishing the floors. Dan Meade was very honest and responsive with all of our question during the process and came in on budget. The craftsmanship was exceptional and we are extremely pleased with their work. We worked with Prime 1 Builders to complete a major overhaul of our 1920 house. We loved our city neighborhood, and we made the agonizing decision to renovate our home. We made the equally agonizing decision to use Prime 1 Builders, and we are thrilled with the results! The scope of work included: renovating and enlarging the kitchen, creating a master bath, adding a new full bath, enlarging and reconfiguring the second floor to make 4 bedrooms, adding a back deck, adding second floor laundry, creating an office nook and walk-in closet off of the master bedroom. The time frame was 6 months. All of us (husband, wife, 3 small children under age of 5, and the dog) lived in one cramped room for six months on our 3rd floor while our house was gutted. As you can imagine it was stressful! However, Prime 1's team was professional and courteous during the entire experience. They were especially safety conscious, which was extremely important given our three small children. Our kids got to know each of them well and even were sad when the team was done with our project! Every week, Dan (the owner) would walk through the project with us and give us updates on the progress. He helped us realize our specific aesthetic Asian design, and he consistenty made suggestions that would improve our life within our new house! With every major project, there are hurdles, hiccups and obstacles along the way...our 1920 house was certainly no exception. With every frustrating situation, Dan was there to help us work through problems. In fact, it is his willingness to address problems openly that allowed us to have the fantastic result that we have while maintaining our vision! Even now, Dan is responsive and helping us with problems that have arisen in our house. Most of these are small issues, but he is truly concerned that we are happy with the result and as such he continues to work with us long after completion of our project to make sure that we have a quality product. Put simply, Dan and Prime 1 stand behind their work! Below are a few pictures of our kitchen.

Prime 1 Builders helped us design and then construct a 1000 sq. ft. two story addition to our home. The addition consisted of enclosing our side porch and converting it to a den, adding an adjacent full bath and mudroom entrance (these three rooms double as a guest suite for visitors) and a large family room added to the back of the house. A master bedroom suite was added directly above the rooms below and our existing small bedroom was incorporated into the master suite as a sitting room. Finally our existing subterranean garage was lengthened to accommodate two cars in tandem and an additional "captured" bay was added behind the house to serve as an auto shop. Our project was especially difficult due to an inability to access the rear of the house with heavy machinery. Prime One came up with several ingenious solutions to complete the excavation without breaking our bank. We can not speak highly enough about the quality of workmanship and professionalism we encountered with everyone associated with Prime One from the owner to the workers, office help, and subcontractors. Our new home is beautiful both inside and out and the addition has a very organic feel in the neighborhood, prompting more than one of our neighbors to state that "it looks like it always belonged there." The proof is in the pudding. We had both of our mothers come visit and stay in the guest suite. They both enjoyed the privacy it afforded without being too remote from the rest of the house. They are both elderly and the walk-in shower with available seating was a hit with both of them. Following that litmus test, we threw a party for two dozen friends, something we would never had done in our previous home. We received numerous compliments on the layout, craftsmanship, and flow of the design. Thank you Prime One! We love the new space and look forward to entertaining family and friends for years to come.

Prime 1 is the most reliable and professional contractor we have ever hired. They have come in on time and on budget with every one of several projects, including building a large garage, remodeling projects and granite work. Since this work was done over a period of years, you can tell that Dan is definitely our go-to contractor.

For several years I had wanted to add some trim features (crown molding, wainscoting and chair rail) to my house. I contacted a local decorator and she recommended Prime 1 for the carpentry work. Dan Meade came to our home promptly and provided us with an estimate. Within several short weeks his carpenters started our project. The workers were on time, friendly and always cleaned up before leaving each day. My husband and I are very pleased with the results. Dan was personally involved with the job. The decorator and I had chosen a supplier for the trim. When the supplier was unable to fill the order, Dan found another supplier and made sure the trim was shipped promptly to our house so that our painter could prime the wood. Dan also assisted the decorator in some of the design aspects of the work. I would definitely recommend Prime 1 Builders.

I live in a town-home community in Bridgeville, myself and the 5 units next to me chose Prime 1 to install vinyl siding. The quality of the the work is by far the best in the development, in the past few months we have had a few nights of high winds and in passing i have noticed other units with missing or broken sections of siding but our 6 units have been able to withstand the winds when the others did not. After seeing that i am very happy with our decision to go with Prime 1.

Everyone was amazing to work with...Dianne did her best to keep me on budget and even searched out a couple special requests and Jerome and team kept me in the loop on site and worked with me on every detail, executing exactly what I wanted. We had some winter weather ice damage on our house. Damage included outside as well as inside. We contacted Prime 1 Builders to perform the repairs. The repairs included pulling up tile and carpet and replacing with hardwood floors, replacing with new baseboards, repair of wall damage i.e. drywall and plaster repair, and roof repair. All work exceeded our expectations and gave us peace of mind to know that it was done correctly. Their workers were very professional and respectful. They showed up on time and completed the work on time as well. Overall we would highly recommend Prime 1 Builders for any home addition or home remodel. It is worth everything to know that the work was done right the first time.

Prime 1 Builders added a beautiful roof to our hardscape patio area this summer, and also replaced the water damaged hardwood floors and drywall inside our home. Space was tight for delivery and staging of materials, but they managed to work within those limitations with little problem. Prime 1 was also willing to let us take on as much of the project as we wanted to do, and they worked with us at great length to keep within our budget. They inspired confidence in us, offering sound advice from experience, and making the venture an enjoyable experience. The finished product is beautiful, and it has been a pleasure to use our new space.
