RED Interior Design

I hired Rachel to help me decide on the re-decoration of the hallway of my Georgian home which hadn't been decorated for nearly 20 years. It's a big, beautiful space and obviously the first thing you see when you enter the house so I was anxious to get it right. Rachel visited and I explained the 'look' and 'feeling' I was after, colours I liked and colours I didn't. Also, we discussed my budget and where that money would be best spent for maximum effect. Rachel went away armed with that information and came back with an ideas board full of colour choices for the walls and woodwork either illustrated, by her, or in the form of photographs. She also gave me ideas on how I could incorporate existing furniture and paintings and how I could up cycle them. Her scheme gave me ideas I wouldn't have come up with on my own and pushed the design further than I would have but having her there with her design knowledge gave me confidence to crack on. I did call her and she did visit during the decorating process to give further advice and when I panicked about the woodwork being grey on the bannisters! She convinced me gently that it would look fabulous and she was right, it does. I'm glad I trusted her. Rachel fulfilled my brief and more. She pushed me to get something I wouldn't have come up with on my own. She was generous with her time and her support. And, as a result, I have a hallway that I love.

I didn't really know what I needed to do to change areas and create a space that suited me my needs and my personality Rachel totally understood the predicament and how open I was to a few influences and was able to work out an easy way to resolve the issues working the space so I could move forward with an idea theme and intention. Rachel had ideas I hadn't even considered and I've lived here a long while and now moving our living space about with the theme and direction from Rachel I feel confident in a new start all round.

Invited Rachel for a home consultation with my wife and I. Discussed the rooms in question and were astounded with the knowledge of products and experience Rachel has. Rachel managed to grasp exactly our tastes and applied it with various mood boards and ideas. Very professional service answering emails at all times of the day, going beyond what's expected. I would recommend Rachel and will be using her services for the next phase of our works.

When I moved house recently, I wanted to make a few changes to the interior design of my house as it was not to my taste. I didn't know exactly what I wanted so thought it best to hire a professional to help me. RED Interior Design were recommended to me by a mutual friend. Rachel was a delight to work with on this project. She consulted me at every stage of the process and gave her recommendations but I never felt forced to accept something that I didn't agree with. All of the work was completed on time, well in budget and with minimum of fuss. In particular the main bedroom is now a haven of peace and simplicity that allows me to sleep and the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. I would never have been able to have the vision that Rachel has and make that a reality.
