Rent-A-Pro Handyman has helped homeowners with projects ranging from bathroom & kitchen remodels to full home renovations. Whether your project is large or small, we are the guys to call. With over 25 years of experience to our credit, we've worked on everything from drywall and cabinetry to the installation of new flooring and remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms. All of our tradesmen are personally selected with your home improvement needs in mind. We only deal with the most experienced tradesmen to ensure quality and efficient service.

Thank you to Ted and his people from Rent-A-Pro My wife and I were preparing our home for sale. We needed hardwoods installed, house painted, light fixtures replaced, faucets replaced, and a few other odds and ends. Overall the remodel was around $30,000.00. We reached out to Ted at Rent-A-Pro because we wanted a one stop shop to get everything taken care of. Aside from my home needing a facelift, we also had some under flooring that was rotted and needed replacement. Throughout the process Ted’s team helped resolve all issues that arose and kept me up to date with progress as they worked. Once they completed all of their work we were able to get our home on the market. The weekend that we listed our home, we had a dozen viewings from potential buyers. By Sunday evening we had several offers to choose from. A week later the home inspection was complete and I had a few new items that needed professional repair. Ted and his team at Rent-A-Pro made sure that everything was perfect and ready for closing. The new owners, my wife and I could not be happier. Rent-A-Pro helped to make our home into a turn-key HGTV looking home. Attached are a few photos that reflect the craftsmanship they demonstrated remodeling my home.

Ted and Team did a great bathroom shower remodel for me. Originally, I hoped we'd be able to repair some of the tiles so I could have the tiles reglazed but that was a no-go because the shower walls weren't originally installed well. On short notice, Ted and Team were able to remodel the shower, replace ceiling vent fans in the both bathrooms, fix two leaking toilets, and a roof leak all in the span of a week. Ted and Team were very communicative, which I really appreciated. I wasn't local so they sent me pictures almost every day showing progress as well as a daily invoice so I could see where I was from a budgeting perspective. They also forwarded me emails of any materials purchased so I have the receipts in case of any warranty issues. I've used Ted and Team in the past, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

Arrived outside of the quoted arrival time, which is normally fine, but I would have appreciated a call saying he was running late. I work nights, and if his work ran long, I would have had to call my employer to tell them I’d be late. Otherwise, the work was done well, for the agreed upon price. EDITED May 30: I should clarify this review was for service performed on May 4. The person who booked my service did not give me an arrival window, she just said someone would arrive by a certain time (which I thought was unusual), hence my call to their office when they hadn’t arrived yet. I hired Rent-A-Pro again a few weeks later and they again did good work for the agreed upon price.

5/10/18- I highly recommend utilizing Rent-A-Pro Handyman Service for your next home improvement project. I contacted several handyman services to receive bids, and Rent-A-Pro was the most responsive to my request for information and also the most reasonably priced. The company owner, Ted, met with me personally to discuss my home improvement projects and provided a price quote on the spot. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. His handyman, Jeovanni, was professional, courteous, and a highly skilled professional. He performed a variety of handyman work, including: removal and replacement of the interior casing/molding around a double window and double glass doors; caulking of the new interior casing/molding around the windows and doors; installation of 2 sets of bi-fold doors (including all of the necessary hardware and tracks); and he fixed 2 areas in a bedroom where the drywall mesh joint tape was separating from the drywall- he removed, replaced, and mudded those areas. Jeovannie informed me of the type of paint I needed to paint over the mudded areas as well as the type of paint I needed to paint the interior casing/molding (he offered to paint these areas for me; however, I enjoy painting and chose to do so myself). I am pleased with the quality of work provided by Jeovanni and will utilize Rent-A-Pro for all of my future handyman needs.

Overall, professional firm delivering superior work quality. Nancy, the administrative assistant, conducted courteous communications gave rapid schedule response. Jeovanni worked with skill for four hours completing complex home improvements. Jeovanni made me a happy homeowner.

Rent-A-Pro is my go-to company for all of my home repairs, both inside and out. This month they fixed a door frame damaged from the wind storm. In the past, they have repaired my workshop from dry rot, rebuilt sections of my fence/gates and repaired my block walls. I have never been disappointed with the work or the team.

We have hired Ted and his team to do a variety of projects around our house over the past year from a simple banister repair to brickwork to a fireplace mantle rebuild to roof repair. Now we are working on a kitchen remodel. All our experiences so far have been exceptional. Ted's team is on-time, thorough, polite and professional. Excellent quality with an attention to detail hard to find these days. Not to forget his terrific back office (Nancy). To pick one word to best describe Rent-A-Pro: SOLID.

RAP did a great job. I am very handy myself and have tackled my share of big projects over the years, and I know the level of effort it takes and the expertise required to get the job done right. I am also very particular with exacting standadrds - and I loathe slow and unreliable contractors. RAP is exactly what is required to meet my specifications. Renta-A-Pro Handyman performed several projects at my home during October-November 2017, and all were done professionally, efficiently and for reasonable cost. Included were the restoration of a small three-sided (all windows) gardener's hothouse on one side of my garage and repair of a corner of my front porch, where both had received severe water damage and wood rot. They did similar repair work on the two-story porch on the rear of my house. They went all around the house, inspected the windows, made repairs to several as needed, and installed three new windows on the second level. All of these projects included painting. Throughout the work, Ted Lutz gave me cost estimates for each project, and made excellent money-saving recommendations. In addition to Ted, the men on his crews clearly took pride in their work, did not require constant supervision, were also knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. Overall, I feel fortunate in having found Rent-A-Pro and highly recommend them to anyone.

I am a completely happy customer!! Rent A Pro was perfect on all aspects of my two small jobs: a prompt call back led to a visit and estimate. The job was scheduled quickly and the work performed nicely. The price was exactly as quoted and Juan was neat and professional while performing the work. Once completed, the area was immaculate. They are also excellent communicators. It is very hard to find good handymen. But now I don’t have to waste my time looking anymore.

My home had wind damage and I reached out to Rent A Pro Handyman by going thru Yelp listings. I am so glad that I found Ted’s company ! Ted was excellent in customer service and scheduled my repair as soon as possible. Miguel is great to work with and did a wonderful job on singles and trim. Nancy provided detailed cost breakdowns and additional adjustment. I will certainly recommend Rent A Pro Handyman team for home repairs and I am so glad that I can call this team for about anything related to home repair. A+++ Thank you Ted, Miguel and Nancy!
