Shelley helped us remodel our house prior to moving, including helping us throughout the entire remodeling and design process and managing and coordinating every step and every vendor. She helped us with everything including picking appliances, designing the kitchen and selecting cabinets and stone, replacing the flooring, electrical and plumbing work, designing and installation of closets and garage storage, and selecting paint colors and all new furniture. Literally, we cannot imagine going through this process without Shelley’s support and guidance. It is hard to believe it was less than 2 months ago we had an unexpected flood in our master bath. It was just before christmas, in the middle of COVID and the last thing we wanted to do was a remodel. Our relator had recommended Shelly so I sent her an SOS text asking to speak with her to bid on the job. Within minutes, on the weekend, we were doing a face time walk through of the space. By the end of the week we had met in person, signed a contact and gone shopping for tile and plumbing fixtures. Throughout the entire process Shelley was communicative, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. She hired the most wonderful contractor who I adore (and who ever says that about a contractor?) She helped us design and implement a stunning master bath while keeping us on time and in budget. Her taste is impeccable. I had a very long list of items to tackle in my house and Shelley attended to every single one! It turned out to be the perfect REFRESH and Shelley made it very easy. She was just as attentive with the small projects as with the big ones. Shelley is a great person to know and an amazing designer! Shelley was with us at the beginning of the purchase of our new home. Our old fashioned master bathroom was in need of serious help. Shelley Sass was recommended to me by a neighbour and from our very first meeting I knew our project was in great hands. We recently moved to LA and were struggling with decorating our new apartment. We contacted Shelley and she sorted us out! She helped us determine what color scheme to use in our living room and what rug, sofa, and chairs we should buy. We were on a budget but she showed us great websites to look at that we weren't finding on Google ourselves. We saved a lot of money based on her recommendations. We also had a bunch of things that we brought from our old place that didn't really fit in with the new look we wanted. Shelley helped us decide what to keep and how to arrange things the right way. Even though she was in San Diego (and we were in LA), she was able to help us so much. We used her E-Styling service, so we were on Facetime and emailing about the project. She is really responsive and understood what we wanted (even though we sometimes didn't know how to express it!). She is really nice and has great taste. Shelley was an immense help to me in renovating my condo. She respected my views and never forced anything on me. But due to the fact that her taste is impeccable, I found her suggestions to be marvelous. I am a real estate broker in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Shelley visited me at one of my open houses and we discussed how important staging would be for a successful marketing campaign. I have a $2M listing in Del Mar, with ocean view which is beautiful & highly upgraded- but had been decorated in very dark colors, with heavy, dark draperies- not at all what buyers are looking for today. She provided a proposal to us with additional suggestions of painting the main rooms in a lighter color. Her bid was very reasonable ( I have had stagers bid other projects ) it included her time in choosing all the furniture, her own accessories & purchasing any additional items required, choosing live plants for the house, the first month's furniture rental/move-in/move-out- and of course, her talent in 'putting it all together,' for $6750. After the first month, furniture rental is $1000/month. We painted the main rooms and that was @ $3000. All told, the house was transformed for about $10,000. It made a huge difference ! I have had two open house events since the project has been completed and the house has received rave reviews from agents and neighbors. It will certainly achieve a faster sale for a higher price. Shelley communicated with me throughout the process, asked for my input on choosing pieces and creating the 'look' I wanted- she listened to me. I highly recommend her services.
