I just love the “CAN DO” attitude of Spang Builders. They have been great to work with. Their team is professional and extremely competent. Their attention to detail and ability to adhere to time lines is fantastic. We have worked by their side on several projects and have found they address issues and problems quickly and efficiently. No question in my mind that anyone who uses them would be very satisfied.

My sister and I hired Spang Builders to build our house. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The communication and follow through with this company was outstanding. Our project manager kept us informed with pictures of the construction progress twice a week. They were honest and straightforward throughout the 9 month process. The sub contractors that Tim uses have been working with him for many years. Everyone involved with our project were consummate professionals and amazing craftsmen. The finished product exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Spang Builders.

We've recently completed a project with Spang Builders to expand and renovate our beachfront home and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience and the beautiful result. This is a remarkable team of people who are very talented, trustworthy and genuinely have your best interest in mind. Our project manager, Norm, was outstanding...he was our advocate for this project every step of the way. Ours was a long distance project so Norm's role was extremely important to us. We always felt like we were fully informed on all details. And he and his assistant, Pat, were always so friendly and a complete pleasure to work with. This is another area where the Spang team really shines. In a number of cases, Norm and foremen, Joel and Charlie, pointed out things we may not have seen and helped us reach resolution without question. When problems or opportunities were encountered Norm quickly returned with detailed options, pros, cons, and costs. And In other cases, this team was even there to help us with advice and on-site design decisions both inside and out. We have worked with Spang Builders for many years and are always impressed with their quality of work, great communication skills and their ability to anticipate and solve problems. Spang Builders built our contemporary home - Lily Pond House designed by Theodore + Theodore Architects. We couldn't be happier with the Spang team. Our foreman never met a house building problem that he couldn’t find a clever solution for. Spang crew showed their craftsmanship in installing interior trim, hardwood floors, doors and windows and exterior cedar siding and Ipe decking including scribing our decks to granite rock formations. They were all master craftsman who took pride in the quality of their work product. Spang Project Manager was exceptionally effective in meeting deadlines by coordinating the relationship with the architects, vendors, code officers, and managing the internal Spang builder team, and external subcontractors. Selected subcontractors were are all first rate. We were impressed with our framing subcontractor, painting subcontractor who could paint flawlessly without taping, electrical subcontractor, tile guru, HVAC contractor who made sure that our plumbing and heating implementation was mechanical art, metalsmith subcontractor who did a masterful job in crafting interior and exterior metal work and our plaster and cement flatwork subcontractors.

We found Tim and his staff true professionals and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend him to anyone considering a new build or renovation . His follow up was very good and attention to detail and service is always on his mind . Unusual today , but certainly appreciated,

This past year, Spang Builders and KW Architects completed our third project together. Over and over again, I have been so impressed with the quality of their work, the communication during a project and the willingness to work as team player and problem solver. I love working with a builder who thinks ahead of the next step and discusses each phase beforehand to foresee any issues and coordination with other disciplines. Its the special touches that seem to make Spang stand out from the others. Spang Builders provided my clients with weekly updates and progress photos which is especially useful for the of state clients. They also have a "continuation of care" after the project is complete with their Hazelwood Handyman service.

Spang builders gives the best quality, in a timely fashion and within budget. We re-modeled the entire inside of our house, while living away. We received weekly photo and written updates. Tim Spang was enthusiastic about any ideas we had, always had the approach that things can be done!

Working with Spang Builders is a delight! We just finished working on a large new construction house with Spang and KW Architects, and it was a pleasure from start to finish. EVERYONE at Spang paid attention to detail, had a great sense of humor and positive attitudes, approached design problems with a can-do attitude, they were approachable and great communicators, they followed through on tasks and were talented at their craft....the list goes on and on! This job was very enjoyable and the team at Spang was an integral part of the job and team. I know the clients were extremely pleased as well. We worked with Spang on a major renovation to our beach cottage. We could not have been happier with their work. They finished on time and on budget. They did an excellent job of keeping us informed every step of the way. Norm sent pictures to us at the end of every week along with checklists regarding what had been completed and what would be completed the following week. It seemed to me that everyone who worked on our house treated it like it was their own. A thoroughly pleasurable building experience.

We had the pleasure of working with Spang Builders to construct our summer lake home. We selected Tim from a handful of builders recommended by our architect. Tim was prepared, asked the most detailed questions, and more than anything, conveyed a passion and trustworthiness we never thought that we would find. The scope of our project grew and we ended up with a very large cabin with higher end finishes. Tim and his team were unbelievable. We fast-tracked the house and completed the project in seven months. Truly remarkable given the finished product. The one thing we can't stress enough is how thoroughly enjoyable the entire process was. Our project manager Norm never said "no" once. Instead, it was "we'll figure it out, we always do." Joel, our on site foreman, knew exactly what our vision was and made it happen. From Spang's employees to their subs, we felt like we could trust every one of them. Spang's work is of the highest quality. Our friends our wowed each time they come to visit. The craftsmanship and detail is second to none. Almost two years later and we have yet to see a crack in a wall or hear a creak from the wood floors. They also stand by their work. We have no doubt that should something go wrong they will be there immediately. Beyond a pleasant working relationship and great results, Spang is incredibly organized and transparent. We were given a schedule for when we needed to select items and they stuck to their timeline regardless of weather. Billing was straightforward and fair. We love our house and can't thank Spang Builders enough. We consider each of them lifelong friends and enthusiastically recommend anyone needing a builder to speak with them.
