Anastasia is wonderful to work with. She has fabulous taste! She recently helped me select paint colors for the exterior of my home and decorate my front porch. She also decorated my living and dining room and kitchen several years ago. She goes above and beyond and treats her work like the artist she is, where my home is her canvas and she creates a beautiful piece of art that I love to come home to. Friends often say how much they love my home and that it feels warm and really reflects me.

Just started shopping to replace furniture that Anastasia chose for the design for my living room and dining room less than two years ago, and it’s quite frustrating to be replacing it. I decided to write a review to share guidance on how to work with Anastasia successfully. I think key is to look really carefully at her photos on Houzz because that really is what you’ll get – it just turns out not to be my style at all. The results in my house I find to be rather fussy and precious. I hired her for a $10,000 contract to redo the dining room and living room and thought because of her being an artist and her past work she could put together something that was interesting and eclectic – I just didn’t realize I would get exactly the look and feel of the photos. She put all the emphasis on the curtains (as you’ll see are emphasized in the photos online) and they cost $11,000 but she never could land on a fabric that was a good fit so in the end we just picked one and the results are meh. At this point I’d like to change them out, as with the sofa fabric she picked out. She strongly emphasizes investing in the curtains, but only do this if you like this look. In hindsight, I would have much rather bought really good carpets but she really wanted to go cheap on those. She used up the $10,000 contract before finishing so didn’t do any work on the carpets or decorations that was supposed to be included. We wasted a lot of hours looking for fabric for a bench that turned out to be the wrong dimensions to fit under the dining room table. Successful were her recommendations for lighting in the living room and a paint color for the walls. Anastasia is a lovely person and definitely has a strong design sense, just make sure it’s a fit for the look you want.

when I decided to repaint the interior of my house in the fall of 2019 I was certain I could select my own colors. However, I quickly became overwhelmed with options, paint swatches covered my walls, my choices were all over the place, I had no direction. I was torn between wanting deep, rich, striking contrast vs. a calming, restful look. I needed someone with an artist’s eye to come in, with confidence, and not be afraid to tell me what to do. I contacted Anastasia Faiella because of her ratings, and she is an artist in my neighborhood. She was EXACTLY what I needed. Her manner is very gentle but her core is made of steel; she was very confident regarding her recommendations. She listened to me, spent a long time in my house and then came up with suggestions that I would never have considered. I was skeptical, But I was unhappy with my direction so I took a deep breath and followed hers recommendations. I am so glad I did. The look is is beautiful, restful, and warm. The colors flow from one space to the next. I felt instantly at home and at peace in my new house. She also made recommendations to install recessed overhead lighting instead of the track lighting I was considering. Another excellent piece of advice. I will definitely call on Anastasia when my bank account is replenished and I move on to furniture.

I needed help redesigning my living room and foyer areas but I could not put my finger on what I needed. I'd updated my furniture and bought a carpet I loved but it wasn't all coming together. I was stuck. Anastasia provided guidance on how to pull it all together with some simple yet very elegant changes. She worked with me on paint color, layout, and how to bring the room together to feel more cohesive and comfortable. She also helped me design my outdoor space, which is an extension of the living area. I loved her suggestions and now the space is exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend working with Anastasia.

Anastasia helped us choose paint colors, furniture, drapery, and rugs for our newly remodeled flat. Her taste is exquisite, clean and modern but not cold, and while her choices sometimes pushed us outside our comfort zone, we could always communicate well with her and in the end we were thrilled with the results.

The business is scaling, and Anastasia designed my home office for scale - optimized for both function and design. She managed all the vendors. She included me and my wife in the process. She had a vision and listened to ours - somehow married both naturally. She is a real artist, while also pragmatic in business. Her level of attention to detail was important and her project management skills (+ experience / network) provided a sense of trust, comfort, and successful completion. Anastasia did a great job on our remodel of the entire front half of our home. She listened to what our needs were and beautifully interpreted what style, color scheme matched our likes. We now have a lovely, functional yet warm/stylish home office, a redone living room that we now use more than any other room (previously we were never in it as it was not a room that was attractive) and a great entry room + stairs. Her follow up and communication are exemplary. Anastasia not only has a good eye and lovely taste but she also has great connections with industry partners that allow a project to be done efficiently. My family and I cannot be happier. She is a true artist along with having great customer interface/ service. She was very clear on price points as well as timing on all parts of our project. We continue to work with her on the exterior of our home and are excited to see the big difference her touch will make there too.

Anastasia is a thoughtful and creative designer. She has such good taste. I love how each of her designs is unique and reflects the best blend of the client's wishes and Anastasia's ideas. I love that she sources locally made furniture, fixtures and art. She always treats her vendors with the utmost respect and is gentle throughout the whole process. Each client gets Anastasia's full attention and the results are always superb. Love her!

I have had the pleasure of collaborating on many projects with Anastasia Faiella in the course of our professional relationship of over 10 years. She is smart, insightful, has a great sense of color, proportion, and design esthetic. She is also a very talented fine artist...and that ability is evident in her interior design success.

After Anastasia had walked through our home and spent a few minutes talking to us, she quickly got to the recommendations that formed the backbone of the redecorating/redesign of our main living area, and the sprucing up of the rest of the house -- changing the seating arrangements, creating a uniform look on the floor, repainting all the walls, a few new pieces of furniture, and some new window treatments. All changes that now seem obvious because they are such an improvement, but had never occurred to us! Not only did Anastasia have the vision, she also was key in helping us successfully execute it. On our own, we would have chosen much bolder and brighter colors. She steered us toward neutrals, to combat the varying styles and wood colors of our furniture, and the clutter of our children's stuff. She was absolutely right! In addition, she helped us select new furniture that was stylistically complimentary of what we already had, and gently steered us away from some of our existing furniture that didn't fit so well. Not only does our home look much better than it did before Anastasia came into our lives, but I feel like I've learned a tremendous amount by working with her. Finally, despite the fact that we were a relatively small-time client (the bulk of our project was done within a couple of months, with some follow-up after the arrival of new furniture), Anastasia was always quick to respond to emails and texts, and always made us feel like a priority.

I worked with Anastasia of Faiella Design on a full remodel of my new home - all new furnishings, fixtures, lighting, paint, tile, flooring, cabinets, window treatments, art & accessories over a period of about a year. I love my new home -- it is beautiful - light & airy, sophisticated and also comfortable. After reviewing ideas on Houzz & meeting with Anastasia at a design center, she quickly understood & captured what I was seeking. There were many, many decisions to make in a project this large, however, most were (for me) easy to make as Anastasia had narrowed the choices to ones that fit the concept. She obsessed about the details so I didn't have to. She works with firms that do high quality work - we included some custom made furniture, cabinets and some decorative paint and window treatments and all turned out beautifully. She also worked closely with the contractor to oversee work and handle details. The project was more expensive than I expected to spend - however, my fault in not providing a set budget up front. At times I asked Anastasia to look for less expensive options and she readily did so. When you hire Faiella Design, you hire Anastasia - while she has a couple part time interns who help, she does all the design work.
