I aim to provide accessible, affordable interior design services to everyone. I firmly believe that we can all benefit from good design - it shouldn’t just be available for the 1%. After being a partner in city law firm for many years, I re-trained as an interior designer at the Chelsea College of Art. I'm an associate member of the British Institute of Interior Designers and run my own small design practice and take on work all over London. I definitely have my own style (you can see my house here on my profile). But I’m just not the sort of designer (or person, frankly) to impose their own look on clients. I’d much rather design a scheme in collaboration with clients and and other professionals. It’s not my home - it’s yours. But what I can bring is my experience and expertise to make the best of your space. My client-centric approach doesn’t mean I don’t take inspiration from the design community or follow trends. We don’t tend to wear the same clothes or listen to the same music our parents do (or even we did ourselves 10 years ago) so there is no reason our homes should be stuck in the same time warp! Small tweaks can make a big difference both to your home and to your mindset. I love doing full house refurbishments as I can really get stuck in, get to know you and help you avoid the decision fatigue. Creating a home can be a very rewarding process and I’d love to be on that journey with you. But I’m also happy to take on smaller projects - a kitchen extension, bathroom refurbishments, colour schemes. Please do get in touch to discuss your projects.

We love our new home every day, and one of the best decisions we made was to engage Zoe for advice. We were in the middle of major-renovation decision-fatigue-and-anxiety when we approached Zoe to help us with choosing colours for our kitchen units. She was so good at helping us identify and frame the ‘feel’ we wanted for the house that we ended up asking her to help with the whole-house colour scheme, tiles selection, soft furnishings, furniture items, layout advice….. Zoe was excellent at helping streamline the decision process which obviously saved us time but more importantly helped us achieve a result which was harmonious as well as more interesting than we would have had the guts or ability to come up with ourselves. We love it. Super responsive, efficient, not stuck on designer brands, thoughtful and with some great advice on practical considerations and reality v Instagram myths. We wholeheartedly recommend her.

I contacted Zoe after seeing her leaflet about interior design trends. We'd just completed out loft conversion and were looking for design ideas. We wanted a modern feel but without being at odds with the rest of the house. Zoe understood exactly what we liked and wanted to achieve and her recommendations were spot on and practical. We had an idea for the main theme James Bond/Golden finger and she helped us to develop it in a stylish way. Her sense of colour is amazing. As a result we now have 2 great room which we enjoy very much and guests admire. All the way through Zoe was very good at communicating with us and her fees are really very reasonable. I would highly recommend Zoe interior design services.

Zoe has helped us immensely over the last years as we have worked on an extension project in our Victorian house. She has been full of ideas and has really helped us with some great suggestions while not making us feel like she was imposing her design on us. In particular - - She has an excellent eye for colour and we were both surprised by the extent to which an agreed colour scheme made a difference to the final look of the house - She was able to specify and supply excellent bathroom fittings - an area we wouldn't have had the patience to research this ourselves but we love the final product. Items were well priced with a shared trade discount. - Lots of good ideas on room layout - in particular she helped us get to a final kitchen lay out that works perfectly for us - An excellent knowledge of wallpapers, tiles and fabrics with some suggestions which have really helped to make our home feel unique - She has the patience to work around and incorporate existing furniture into the final look We would highly recommend Zoe and will certainly continue working with her in the future.

We hired Zoe to help us out with redesigning two rooms in our house - a new study and a playroom. She immediately understood our needs and got a great sense of the kind of thing we were looking for. It felt like she was always helping us clarify our own fuzzy thinking, and never that she was imposing her own ideas on us. We’re absolutely delighted with the results, and highly recommend Zoe.

Zoe at Stealth Design was fantastic and really helped us be confident using colour and design for our extended lower ground kitchen/sitting room. Zoe really listens to what you want to achieve and is wonderfully practical in advising how you will use the space and also helps with budgets/working with third party suppliers and making recommendations. Zoe made a number of site visits, fitting around other suppliers, and was key in helping us think through what we needed from our kitchen and flooring providers in particular - including spending time advising on many different dark oak samples and making sure we made the effort to review on site in the right light. At the same time Zoe brings something extra - a great artistic eye, will propose new ideas and ‘something different’. Zoe’s mood board and colour charts are now helping our re-decorating plans for the rest of the house.

Zoe’s advice was extremely useful. The colour palette she created with us was a breakthrough and gave us a lot of confidence about future steps in the project. Based on our taste (and her experience) she came up with suggested colours for walls, ceiling and woodwork. We were a bit hesitant at the beginning (we always struggle to picture the end result in our minds), but we followed her advice and, eventually, the outcome was amazing. Anything else like furniture, lights and curtains came natural afterwards with just a bit of guidance. Great value for money: thanks again, Zoe!

Zoe spent a couple of hours with us looking at how the space can be better used in our house and providing advice on a new colour scheme for our lounge and hall/stairs. She listened to what we were looking to do and provided helpful advice and pointers as well as suggesting lots of other ways that we could make the house work better for our family. We are starting to make some of the changes she suggested and it is making such a huge difference - we really wish we’d met Zoe sooner! We would highly recommend her and will continue to use her going forward.

Zoe did an excellent job. She took my concerns and reconverted them in practical and very useful solutions, that helped me to have better decorating ideas. Zoe was very proactive and delivered her tasks in a proper time frame. She also created a colour scheme that I could use anytime, and allowed me to feel more independent and confident when making the right colour decisions.

Zoe made some very simple suggestions to unlock some of the potential of my bakery and cafe, Christopher’s in Herne Hill. As part of a larger project to move the kitchen into the back, Zoe suggested we remove some of visual blocks in the front of the cafe – which has improved the connection between staff and customers. This has had a very positive impact. I was also impressed by her suggestion that we switch the placing of a door into the toilet from the main back room round the corner to the corridor. It’s something I wouldn’t have thought of myself but as a result of that and by removing a bulky fridge, the space at the back is a more relaxing area – and there are more seats!
