Studio ia is an Interior Architecture design practice that specialises in high-end residential and small scale commercial work. Katherine and Jacqui both decided to join forces when they met working as lecturers at a design college in Sydney. They realised they both shared a strong passion for smart & honest spaces as well as a shared aesthetic for timeless and holistic design. 'At studio ia, we think it is important to provide a service that is well researched and current in aesthetic and functional value. We create simple, clean lines that are highly detailed. With an interest in sourcing new materials, innovating the old and providing appropriate attention to detail, we can respond to a brief and the requirements of the client rather than 'chasing trends'. We like to provide a timeless colour palettes and details, that can be sustainable over time and in turn be an investment for our clients. We think it is important to work within the clients budget and scope, and we endeavour to produce environments that exceed our clients expectations.
