We were searching for a contractor to build a portico on our house and discovered Superior Builders in the HOUZZ site. We contacted Peter at Superior who met up with us promptly. He helped us design the perfect portico for our needs, built it and we couldn't be more pleased. Superior is very professional and we would not hesitate to recommend them for any project.

Peter installed a new set of full glass double doors In our breezeway. After removing the old, rotted old doors that the previous owner had installed DIY, Peter noticed that the header wasn’t supported properly. He went the extra mile and reinforced the header with three pressure treated studs on both sides before installing the new door. He took the time to carefully level the new door, taking many measurements and readings with the bubble level. Peter also trimmed everything out, both inside and out, with new PVC trim. He did a professional job, with attention to detail throughout the process, and did not race through just to get it done fast. The new door installation is solid and adds value to the home, thanks to Peter’s superior job. Highly recommended!

Peter does excellent work. He's done jobs as small as ceiling molding and as large as replacing the ceiling in several rooms and he's done them all well. He explains jobs to us and has worked with our insurance adjusters seamlessly. I've come home to find him still fussing over something I can barely see because it doesn't look good enough to him. If I have to make a hole in my house, Peter is the one I trust. He's not the cheapest, but I don't want the cheapest work. He's thorough, prompt and tidy, and he's nice to my dog. What more could you want in a contractor?

My husband is a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran and our house had a bathroom on the second floor making it very difficult for him. Needless to say I had my hands full with his care and I needed to have someone take on our project with as little trauma for us as possible. Superior Builders of Manchester came highly recommended by an old friend, John La Rochelle, who is in the electrical business and what a recommendation it was . Suzy and Peter were wonderful to do business with. Peter became our project manager and took all the stress out of the renovations and the work they did was above and beyond our expectations. A downstairs handicapped access bath, an office dressing area for my husband, a front room where the closed porch was, making my husbands area beautiful and open but with a wall to mount a big screen tv. WE HAVE PILLARS IN OUR LIVING ROOM! He had his carpenter, Mickey, who we love, build a handicap ramp in the front and the back has a beautiful covered porch where we spend many an afternoon sipping ice tea. The kitchen is small but they fit all the stainless steel appliances in a way as to make it easy to work in and they opened a window over the sink looking into the dining room making the space seem much larger and it is quite lovely. A whole house generator to protect my husband and much more We stayed away for the summer because of my husbands COPD so to have the house almost finished on our return was greatly appreciated. I mean it is perfect for our needs. Easy to keep clean and so much less expensive then to move and have to sell this house. Thank you Suzy and Peter! You are the best thing to happen to us in a very long time.

We chose Superior Builder as our General Contractor for our first floor renovation project. Working with Peter and Suzy was a great experience. We set a tight deadline for the project. Superior Builder worked efficiently and maintained the schedule very nicely, oftentimes earlier than originally planned. They were able to accommodate our changes to the original plan. The project completed within the time scheduled (even with our changes). Superior worked well with other professionals involved in our renovation and were prompt to provide them information when needed. Their support teams were very professional and all members of their teams showed up when they said they would. Throughout the entire project, we were impressed by how Peter was able to come up with immediate solutions when the reality did not quite match the original plan. He constantly informed us of every step in the project. He had many great ideas and suggestions. The communication between us and Superior was great. They always got back to us within a day via emails or in person. The final product was beautiful (we have received many compliments from our guests). We will definitely use Superior Builder in our future projects.

We live in a 1920 Craftsman Bungalow. In 2009 we hired Superior Builder of Manchester, Inc. to do a major renovation inside; living room, dining room, den, hallway, entryway. Peter was amazing to work with. The woodwork needed to be replaced and he was able replicate it to look original. He also helped us with some design changes that turned out beautiful. The cost of the project was reasonable. The area was cleaned up at the end of every day which was helpful because we lived in the house during the renovation! I would highly recommend this company.

We wanted to relocate a Laundry Room into the breezeway of our Cape, we had a door removed and a closet built to contain the washer/dryer and plumbing for the laundry and had linoleum installed on the floor. Everything was done as promised, on time and to our complete satisfaction.

We contracted with Superior Builder after purchasing a 2,200 1976 house covered in wallpaper, dark trim and wood paneling. Their cost was competitive to remove wallpaper in every room, fix damaged walls, and paint all dark trim, wood, windows and doors white. Throughout the process Suzy and her team were helpful, respectful and clean. The project was complete ahead of schedule and the work is exceptional. The team's attention to detail and pride in the quality of work shows in the end result. We are very happy with the work done and wouldn't hesitate to use Superior Builder again.

I hired Superior to re-shingle my roof, and in all aspects they did a great job. They provided an accurate estimate, got the job done quickly and we have had no problems with the roof since! It looks beautiful, and they were completely professional and personable.

I had my porch roof redone by Superior Builder. The two man crew was very professional; they arrived on time, were friendly and did a great job of keeping the worksite clean both during and after completion of the job. This is the second job they've done for me and I'm very satisfied with both. I would highly recommend them.
