If youre considering building with the Jones company, don’t. About a month ago we noticed our floor was buckling. We called Jones about a possible leak, when they came out they found that the dishwasher they installed, was installed improperly and was dumping water into our subfloor and crawl space. After assessing damages, the floor, cabinets, and counters all would need to be taken out and replaced. In addition, we would need to relocate due to mold and loss of use to our kitchen. We have a newborn and a 1.5 year old and simply can’t risk them being exposed to mold, not to mention we wouldn’t have a working kitchen for months. They initially took ownership and said they would take care of damages. They took the dishwasher out, brought in a plumber, had mold remediation come out, scheduled the cabinet and granite companies to come out and then suddenly stopped all work and said they would no longer be moving forward on the project. Once they realized how bad the damages were and the amount of repairs they would need to do they pulled out and stated we’re out of warranty. Leaving us with tens of thousands of dollars in damages. Bottom line this was their mistake. This has been going on for well over 6-8+ months according to their super intendant if not longer and should be taken care of by them. We’ve lived in this home a little over a year and are having to completely demo our entire kitchen due to their mistake. If you want to waste money and live in a home where they cut corners every chance they can get, then Jones is the company for you.

We built a home with the Jones Co in High Park Hill in 2023. Everyone we have dealt with has been friendly & professional. The ladies at the Design Center were very helpful, listened to us about features & finished we did or did not like & made suggestions accordingly. The project manager on site more than adequately answered all of our questions and explained constructions timelines in a manner that was easy to understand. At each of our walk-throughs, items that we brought attention to that needed to be corrected or fixed, were done in a timely manner. Overall it has been a good experience & we are enjoying our new home. We would build a Jones Co home again.

Writing a review is not something I do often. In this case I couldn’t let the opportunity pass without giving credit where it is truly earned and well deserved. Our family worked together with The Jones Company to build a beautiful home in Annecy, a lovely community in Nolensville, TN. The entire build, start to finish, was smooth and stress free. The process started with the no pressure sales team, where questions were answered and expectations and realistic timelines were defined. Working with the professionals in the Jones Design Center helped create a home that reflected our style while staying within our budget. The team understood our style and helped refine the selections so as not to be overwhelmed. We were very fortunate to work with a builder who answered our questions in a timely manner and truly kept a close eye on the build . The attention to detail and clear communication was appreciated every step of the way. If asked would you recommend The Jones Company the answer is easy. Yes.

Long story short, we were sold on a lot in Falls Grove bc it was flat. Have email confirmation. Once framing started, our once flat 1/2 acre lot was destroyed. Asked Jones to fix with a retaining wall and they said no. At very least we asked for them to sod to help with future erosion and they said no. Now my husband and i have to spend $3500 on sod (at the low end) or $15k on a retaining wall to make lot look like it was (after spending $720k on the home). Bought lot bc it would have allowed us to put a pool in. Not now. Now we have to put a retaining wall. Buyers beware.

Worst experience with the warranty department ever. They promised to get a lot done before the signing of the home and after that nothing seemed to get done. The warranty department will send a person to come and look at the problem and then they never fix it citing any lame excuse they can find. The dry wall has not enough padding in it and we can hear everything that people are taking about in other bedrooms. The roof is leaking and the warranty dept states it was just condensation due to bitter cold and they can’t do anything about Mother Nature. Highly recommend to get a private inspection done before your warranty period ends.

I bought a new house at Burkett Place from the Jones Company. The house is very good. But I want mention here is the people I worked with at The Jones are very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They are Rubyn and Demetries plus the project site persons. Rubyn has managed very well for company and customer me. They all did a great job. Thank you very much! Jia Zhuang
