Uribe Studio is a boutique Architecture / Interior Design studio committed to excellence and innovation in Design. Each project is evaluated from a multidisciplinary perspective in order to achieve unique solutions. Fully licensed and insured in the province of Ontario, Uribe Studio is lead by principal Jose Uribe. Jose R Uribe-Pabón was born in Bogotá,Colombia,where he studied a licentiate in Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia. He became a licensed Architect in Colombia in 1999. In Canada, Jose graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Architecture in 2002. At graduation he was the recipient of the prestigious AIA Henry Adams Gold Medal and the RAIC Roll. Jose was T.A at M.ARCH studio at the University of Waterloo and lecturer on Cinematic Architecture at Ryerson. Prior to founding Uribe Studio Inc, Jose was founder and director of ZeroFractal Studio, a design studio specialized on new media technologies and animation, and employed as intern Architect at Baird Sampson Neuert Architects, an award winning architectural firm, where he was involved in numerous acclaimed projects, including winners of OAA awards, Canadian Architect awards of Excelence and the Governor General’s Medal in Architecture. As president and founding partner of Uribe Studio Inc, Jose has managed to position Uribe Studio as a leading company in Unique Design in Architecture and Interior Design and his work has been recognized by numerous awards including the 2008 OHBA and the 2012 SCA PAD Interiors mention of honour.
