William Green Architects designed my side return and loft extension. Our house had nothing down to it in almost 40 years, so the rebuild was substantial. From the outset, their approach was practical, professional, and creative. The helped us navigate planning permission with a calm and proactive approach. Throughout the build, they were responsive and helpful, presenting solutions and advice when needed. I have recommended them to numerous friends and family, as well as a couple of passers-by who asked who had designed the house!

We bought a 1930s house with potential to extend but with an awkward and dated internal layout. The problem we faced was how to improve the property without overspending on it. Thomas from WGA took on board our dilemma and presented us with a cost effective solution that meant bold decisions in terms of redesigning the layout and prudent solutions by using the existing footprint. The result is a much enhanced family living space combined with exciting design elements. I have enjoyed the process of working with WGA and achieving the design we have.

William Tom and the team designed for us our new family home. Right from the start they managed to translate our brief into a great design that surpassed our expectations. We cannot recommend William Green architects highly enough. We have heard many horror stories of contacts of ours using architects but we did not suffer any major issues at all. William was with us from the very start of our project and Tom came on to the team shortly thereafter. William was the mastermind of the fundamental design concept for the house which had achieved planning approval before we purchased the site. We changed the interior layouts significantly with William's help and managed to achieve planning approval for a four floor concept. Shortly after Tom came on board, he became our project manager and has done a brilliant job for us and his management of our contractors has been excellent. The thing that we felt, all the way through the project, was that we always had Tom and William on our side willingly giving us all their guidance to avoid the pitfalls that come with building a highly specified home. We employed them to undertake contract supervision as well as the design components and we are very pleased that we did - we would recommend other clients to do the same. Our house was the first big project for the firm and we are delighted to have provided a springboard for them to develop and grow the firm. We would give them the highest possible recommendation to future potential clients. They have come through our project with flying colours and they will add creativity, flair, professionalism, value, and achieve great results in any future projects they undertake.

William Green designed an rear three story extension and interior re-modelling for our victorian town house. Working with William was an absolute pleasure; he immediately grasped my requirements about how we wanted to use the space and generated an imaginative solution which looks fabulous and is highly practical. My aim was to avoid "a box on the back of the house" and this was certainly achieved through William's creative use of space and light. William Green and colleagues oversaw the building project and their attention to detail was excellent, picking up on small issues that had been overlooked or inadvertently altered by the builders to ensure an aesthetically pleasing and high quality finish to the work.

As a site agent with 30 years experience in construction, I have dealt with many architectural practices. I have found William Green Architects to be one of the best. In particular their communication and problem solving ability, being able to guide me as an agent running a multi-million pound project. William Green Architects go beyond what I can confidently say is the normal scope of an Architectural practice. Ever present via email/telephone/in person whatever the situation called for WGA were always pro-active. This lead to the impression that ultimately our goal was the same.
