“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result.

“My search for getting a paving company which also understands landscaping, is flexible to work though customers where despite plans, ideas change, is reasonable, timely, consultative without being pushy or selling, does not nick and dime every angle - all came to an end with Patrick Hannan from Atlas Pavers. I have a sizable backyard with had old style pavers, tons of curvy landscaping and bushes growing everywhere. All got magically converted to a modern contemporary backyard with clean lines and porcelain pavers. The whole backyard now looks amazing, with minimalist and clean look, tons of lighting, drought resistant shrubs and grasses, a fountain ... the list goes on. The price they quoted was competitive and they did not play around with it despite me changing few core specs. Followed though with service requests after few months of paver settling down as well. Pat is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him and his team.”

No games, no stories that you would normally hear in the contractor's world. They are honest, respectful, and they value you as a customer.
We initially got a quote from System Pavers and they were nothing but salespersons. They gave us a quote then lowered it by half since we said it won't work. Everton has beaten their lowered price to start with so we did not even have to negotiate since we knew his price was more than fair.
If you like the car buying experience, go with System Pavers or any of those bigger companies out there that care about nothing but your money. If you like to deal with someone honest who gets the job done so professionally at the same time, and someone who genuinely cares about his customers, go with Everton at Stones & Etc., you won't regret..”
