“This was the first time we'd used a garden designer and Andreea was fantastic from start to finish. We'd moved house into a renovation project and had four terraces to fill that were pretty much a blank canvas. We wanted something cohesive, fairly low maintenance and that would work with the right plants in the space, so turned to Andreea for the planting plan. She took a detailed brief, noting our preferences for style and colours and returned an excellent proposal and plan within the agreed timescale. The presentation of the plan and details of the plants and overall scheme was excellent. Andreea worked with us to refine a couple of details and now we're planning to start planting towards the end of winter. Andreea has also offered to help us identify a supplier as this will be quite a significant purchase to cover the four terraces. All in all, Andreea was a delight to work with and we're full of confidence that we have a planting scheme we never could have come up with on our own that will look fabulous and be a joy to maintain over the years. We highly recommend Gardens & Project studio!”

“I asked Lynn to give me some ideas for my garden, which is in the process of being altered alongside making changes to my house. There were some quite technical aspects involved e.g. making a patio to go outside of some new French doors. Lynn was very knowledgeable and helpful about building regulations, and gave us a new perspective on how we can create a patio that we will both be happy with. Lynn also looked at he garden as a whole, and got us thinking about the views, focal points and screening neighbours and hiding unattractive areas. All in all we were very happy with the ideas that have come together now, and we feel we can move forward without making costly mistakes. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about making changes to their garden to consult with a garden designer, as you will save money and be happier with the result in the long run.”

“Becca at Blossoming Gardens did a terrific job for us, and has transformed the look of our front garden. What was a mono-blocked eyesore is now a lovely space - it looks bigger and has so far given a lovely range of colours as the seasons change. Becca helped us (a pair of garden novices) to understand what we would like and what would work in the space, using pictures of previous projects and plants to patiently build a design. She was very helpful with the materials - cobbles for a path and borders, sandstone for a new wall and gravel for the driveway. Becca engaged the Promised Landscapes to do the hard work of removing the mono-blocks, laying all the new landscaping and building the new garden wall. They were fantastic and very friendly. She also found us a blacksmith to make new gates at very reasonable cost, and she made sure the project was progressing properly. We are delighted with the results of Becca's work and heartily recommend her service.”

She listened to my requirements, worked within a fairly strict budget and spent a lot of time creating and updating detailed plans to help me visualise what the garden would look like. In particular, her knowledge and advice on what plants to choose was invaluable, given the elements (being so close to the sea) and the fact I wanted a low maintenance garden that still maintained some 'life' and interest all year round. “Lisa first advised us on our garden plan in October 2015 and from the moment we met her we knew we had someone who we could really trust to do a fantastic job. Lisa listened to our ideas and offered great suggestions and advice on everything from layout and plant choices to her recommended hard landscapers and wall and gate specialists! Lisa worked closely with all our other suppliers and provided excellent referrals to various suppliers, hard landscapers, and gardening experts and was very flexible in working to our/their deadlines ensuring our garden came together in harmony. The challenge was to transform from scratch c.700 square meters of largely empty yard – much of it formerly a chicken run - into an interesting, reasonably low maintenance and beautiful country garden. We wanted to create a sheltered garden with variety and texture and most importantly colour and interest all year round. Lisa worked with us over the autumn and winter months to agree the garden design and planting scheme, providing throughout tremendous insight and careful research into the most suitable plants for our garden and taste! Whilst all this was going on we were hard landscaping and re-building walls! By January 2016 we had agreed the scheme and Lisa sourced and ordered all the plants on our behalf. In March the first to go in were bare-root trees, and by the end of April our garden was fully planted up. We are absolutely delighted with the results and are amazed at how mature the garden looks even in its first year! Lisa has provided us with a beautiful palette of colour and texture cleverly using a mixture of trees, climbers, shrubs and herbaceous perennials to create all-year-round colour, warmth and interest. Thanks to Lisa’s expertise, flair and skills we have managed to transform this rather drab, exposed plot into the foundations of a beautiful country garden which will provide such a great deal of pleasure for us in the years to come. Lisa is extremely professional and is honest and transparent about costs at every stage of the project. She is very knowledgeable and clearly loves her work! We would have no hesitation in recommending her services”

“Karen Laing designed the East Haven Beechgrove Community Garden which was awarded Gold in the Beautiful Scotland competition in 2015. She created a community garden that met the needs and aspirations of the whole community. Her ideas were inspirational and the final design integrated our maritime heritage right into the heart of the village. Karen consulted with us at every stage and took everybody's ideas into account. As a result we have the most amazing gardens with beautiful plants which provide colour all year round. As a community, we can't recommend Karen highly enough. The gardens in East Haven have now become such a special place to visit and we are inundated with tourists.
