“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home.
She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit.

“We recently finished a remodel of our mid-century kitchen and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results.
Tony and Dawn are amazing and their eye for design is impeccable...what I was most impressed with was how detailed they were and that they listened to our needs. We wanted a kitchen that looked great but was also functional, and they delivered!
My wife and I both work, so it was important to us to know that they were there to handle all the small details and be on site to work with contractors, handymen, etc. No doubt, remodeling a kitchen is stressful but Tony and Dawn were so accommodating and made the project much easier than it would have been otherwise.
The final photo shoot was bittersweet -- everything looked amazing but we were a little sad the project was over since working with Tony and Dawn was such a pleasure. “My husband and I worked with Rachel at Seldin Design Studios to decorate our first house. It felt like a pretty overwhelming task as we were starting from scratch and had a lot to do on a tight budget within a short time frame (we were expecting our first little one just 5 months after we moved in!). Rachel made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. She started by walking through the house with us and listening to what we hoped to create in each space. She then presented us with a meticulous portfolio with descriptions, drawings, and examples of everything we needed for each room and a breakdown of the cost.
My husband and I have pretty different styles and Rachel did a wonderful job of listening to what was important to each of us. She managed to find pieces that we both like at the right price points, striking a nearly impossible balance of cozy and clean. She also introduced fresh colors and patterns, encouraging us to branch out and try new things. She was fast and efficient and did an amazing job of staying within our budget (unheard of in interior design, apparently!). She was incredibly organized and proactive, always following up with vendors and giving us a heads up if there was a delay or other issue with a product we had ordered. We were very indecisive at times and she worked tirelessly and patiently with us the whole way through. Rachel is clearly passionate about her work and always went above and beyond. We are so very grateful to her for helping us create a lovely home.”

“I have done three projects with LMK Interiors - primary residence remodel (2008), investment property flip (2012) and current new primary home construction (2013). The only constant from those three projects has been Leslie with LMK Interiors. Simply put, I would not undertake a project on my house without her. She's everything you would want in a designer - great style, flexible, unbelievable color taste, easy to work with, spunky and fun but hardnosed if she needs to be.
For any couple who is considering a project and knows the stress a remodel puts on the relationship - the best thing you can do is to hire Leslie. One of her greatest strengths is acting as a project manager. She does not advertise this service which I always think is crazy since she's so good at it. She will act as your quarterback between the contractor and architect. The bottom line on a project is that you need all three team members but Leslie is the most important for me as my wife and I defer almost all decisions to her. When the contractor asks whether you want 4” or 6” crown and what style or what type of window trim or whether the architect has the best master bathroom and kitchen layout – Leslie will ensure you make the right decision.
Importantly, she coordinates the style and look of your entire house to flow seamlessly without looking like a model house or something too eclectic. She coordinated every step with us – architectural layout, lighting plan, appliances, cabinets, tile, hardwood floors, carpet, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, windows, doors, hardware, window shades, paint color and furniture. Her partner Gayle is great as well and specializes in furniture selection. LMK Interiors make a very stressful, long, difficult process as much fun and as efficient as it can be.”
