Marisa was patient with us, worked at our pace, and was very responsive to our requests and questions during the remodel process. Our work with Marisa started by hiring her to help us design the space - entry way, living room, kids play area, exercise room, laundry room, guest room - including tearing down and building new walls. She provided a thorough lay out and design recommendations, including two great built-in shelving units and a new tiled gas fireplace. Her color, fabric, carpet, tile choices were spot-on. When furniture items were outside our budget range, she came up with good lower cost alternatives. And she always has recommendations for contractors or stores to meet our needs. Marisa is fabulous - her expertise is well worth the cost!”

“Above and beyond is an understatement! We had little time for the huge task of staging our home, and Stacey was the best designer we could have asked to do the job. Stacey came out to do a consultation amidst our chaos of house projects and had no issues seeing right past those to make recommendations and plan for staging. Stacey came back another day to help stage and was flexible and understanding when our house still wasn’t in a perfect state. She helped rearrange furniture to fit the rooms best and decorated our house from top to bottom. I would love to keep all of the beautiful pieces that added such an amazing feel to our home. It is absolutely adorable, and I’m confident that we will gain interest in our house quickly with her staging skills. Stacey worked with our crazy schedule and was more than accommodating. “Planning for my later years with increasing physical diminishment, I used the building and design team of FAIRFAX DESIGN SOLUTIONS (Martha Fecteau and Sam Scott)) to undertake an extensive ‘Aging in Place’ remodel of my cherished home of 43 years. The remodel includes an additional powder room on main floor, creating a large master bedroom by removing a wall between 2 bedrooms, creating a large, extraordinary master bath with a 5x6 curb-less shower that includes a folding teak bench, moving W/D from basement up next to bedroom, and creating a beautiful office with built in cabinets in the old dining room. All suggested ADA/ fall prevention improvements were incorporated. Both Martha and Sam were terrific to work with. They drew on years of experience and collaboration, pulling together tremendous skill and craftsmanship in the design and execution of the project. They creatively grappled with modifications provoked by the nature of my 1955 house. They both have steady, calming personas.They were incredibly patient and accommodating to health challenges of my own during construction. Martha brought all products to me to choose from, saving me a lot of time and energy. Sam was on the project everyday — either managing the skilled laborers he brought in to do the plumbing, electricity, dry wall, tiling, etc. or crafting himself some beautiful, original wainscoting to dress up the new hallway. Martha and Sam’s reassuring skill, creativity, thoughtfulness and integrity made the remodel a blessing in every way. Marilu, McLean, VA”

Not only does she have an amazing eye for design detail, but she worked extremely well with our subcontractors making sure our remodel timeline and expectations were met. We did a full kitchen renovation and Kirsten was instrumental in helping us choose everything from the hardwood floors to the cabinet hardware. Not only was she able to find us some amazing grasscloth for a fabulous focal wall, she knew the right people to call for a flawless install. The result is one amazing kitchen!”

“Jenn is a phenomenal designer! She does it all. She’s a great communicator, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jenn was able to help me design our 3 bathrooms in about 6 weeks. From design concepts, product selection, scope writing, and everything in between she was able to help us realize the potential of our dream primary bathroom. Additionally, she helped us design an updated and fun powder room and budget friendly basement bathroom that we are thrilled with. Jenn helped us obtain 3 bids for our renovation and is currently helping us as a project manager on the job to ensure that our vision is seen through the entire renovation process. What I really like about Jenn is that she is a good listener. She was able to take the ideas I told her and pull it together into a cohesive design that needed only minor revisions. She allows the customer to lead with their ideas but is happy to provide her professional feedback when asked or needed. I can’t say enough about her and highly recommend Jenn. “I asked Paola to provide a design for remodeling my bathroom with the goal of replacing the tub with a shower. My only request was that she retain my Mexican hand-painted ceramic sink. As the room is only 5 X 7, she had quite a challenge to update the room, giving an impression of more space, on a very small budget. Her design was perfect. All the materials to be used were low cost but did not look low cost. The finished product was well within my budget and looks great. I get many very positive reactions from family and friends. It is very impressive.”

“I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”
