She is knowledgeable, organized, positive, helpful, spot on with deadlines/timing & budgets, communicative, has a great eye for details and what works well (is functional & practical), and goes above and beyond- always exceeding expectations!
Cindi is simply terrific and I highly recommend her for any job inside and outside of your home!!
Some of the projects that Simply Done/Cindi has done at my home include:
1) cleaning out / organizing bedroom closet-which was no small task. In a supportive, but firm way, she helped me release a lot of clothes I was holding onto (but not wearing) & helped organize everything in useful & functional ways (with ideas for keeping things streamlined), that now makes getting ready a pleasure!
2) window boxes, decorations & planters for spring, summer, fall & winter-gorgeous, welcoming & unique! She's also a wiz with outside plantings-shrubs, flowers, trees!
3) rearranging living room & entryway to feel warmer & more inviting-great suggestions that fit my lifestyle with 3 kids & pets, but still look (almost) like a magazine! Best of all, it has become one of our favorite family gathering spots after it's makeover!
4) the largest and longest of the jobs was cleaning and organizing my lower level-office, basement, storage room & game room. We had so much stuff! I was embarrassed to even let Cindi in to see our colossal mess. She said she had seen much worse and went right to work with a plan & strategy for purging, donating, saving. I couldn't believe the amount we got done in a relatively short time! Once again, she made the spaces much more livable, functional & organized! Thank you Cindi!

He had great, creative ideas and included a touch of whimsy which I loved. He matched the wood and hardware to an adjacent bathroom, a touch that wouldn't have occurred to me, but that looks fantastic. Steve was easy to deal with and accommodating when asked to alter the design or incorporate new ideas.

“I contacted Heather at the The Organized You for what I thought was help with just one project - designing a master bedroom closet.
She collaborated with us throughout the process from initial idea through to completion. The closet is fantastic and functional, fairly priced (she actually saved us money), and I emerged with an organizer we adore - one who is talented, expert, kind, funny and greatly trustworthy.
Since that time, we have: sorted and organized the walk-in attic, cleared out the basement and built shelves for storage and a work area with household tools and supplies, set up good recycling and shelving in the garage, transformed the bedroom of a now grown-up child into a guest room, created a filing system and great bookshelves for my home office, simplified and made usable the kitchen drawers and cabinets and more.
