“Truly one of the most enjoyable customer experiences my wife and I have had. Tim and Rachelle are very knowledgeable, caring and make it an inter-active experience. We ordered a 7'x 5' black walnut slab to be made into a dining room table. I called Tim all the time and he was patient, sent pictures constantly to keep me updated with the process. He promised it before my oldest son graduated from high school in a 3 month time period and he was good on his word not sacrificing the integrity of the project. Guests that come over sit and just look at the grain and "ooh and aah" over it which gives me a chance to talk about Jewell Hardwoods. If you order a project from them you will be in for a awesome customer experience. I plan on ordering another piece this year. My project is on their website.”

“As part of our home remodel, I knew help was going to be needed to update or re-do the décor of our dining room, kitchen, living room and bedroom. Heidi came to our home for the initial assessment and did an amazing job of quickly identifying our tastes. She was able to use the larger pieces of living room and dining furniture we wanted to keep (although we did add a beautiful entertainment center) and used accent furniture, draperies and décor to create a warm and beautiful home that is truly a reflection of both my husband and me. The bedroom is a complete re-do and is finally the sanctuary I've dreamed of having. Heidi ran with the color scheme I had initially mentioned and turned it into something so much more elegant than I could ever have done on my own.
The outcome has certainly exceeded my expectations, but shouldn't be surprising given Heidi's talents. The entire team was exceptional and pleasant to work with - Sharon, the drapery lady, does stunning work and the installers were all professional and courteous.

“We hired Chairished Furnishings to completely refurbish an old chair we wanted to include in our local auction. Janine was a delight to work with. She listened well and understood our needs. It was clear from the beginning that she has a true passion to give old furniture a new life, .. new appreciation. I believe her to be highly skilled in the refurbishing end as well as the design process. I may purchase one of her beautiful and unique drum tables. The end result of our project was simply "dazzling ", I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. “We were drawn to this company because it is family owned......the more we talked to them about what we wanted, the experience became more and more enjoyable - although we took several months to make a decision, we never felt rushed to make a decision, instead they kept smiling and kept helping us. They came to our house several times to give advice and ask what look we were going for and then gave us advice on types of wood, width, hardness and characteristics
of each type of wood. My husband was very impressed that the installation was done by their own employees and not hired out....the men on the job were professional, caring and a joy to work with....each day they cleaned up and were very careful of our existing furniture. they were also happy to answer any and all questions we had during installation. We would highly recommend them and in fact, we already have.....Thanks Koeber's - we love our floor!!!”

“The folks at Makers Woodworks provided impeccable craftsmanship, clear and efficient communication, and professional service. We asked them to build a custom, Black Walnut mantel for our hearth. They listened to our design wishes, created a computer mock-up, and built a seamless and beautiful mantel that matched our vision perfectly. Dan and Garrett responded immediately to any inquiries we had and sent us an estimate well within the timeframe given. The mantel was completed and installed ahead of the given deadline. Finally, they cleaned up every spec of dust from the install and provided us a product to keep our mantel beautiful for years to come. We will have them return to build our custom library shelves, kitchen nook bench, and our dining table. I would highly recommend this team for any custom woodwork in the Portland, OR area.”
