“We are thrilled with the work done by nd Gothic Furniture. So much so we remodeled one room when our daughter was 3 and did so again as she got older and her needs were different. Our first set of built-ins made it possible for us to have desperately needed storage and closet space, a desk, television closet and a single bed with a trundle underneath for our then 3 year old. As she got older, and we no longer needed room for toys, we remodeled the same room and our bedroom. The design was perfect for a late teenager (lots of storage still) with a larger desk, more floor room and a bed with storage. We also remodeled our own bedroom at that time and were concerned that they would make the room look smaller. We assured the room would look larger and, in fact, it does. Plus we have storage space and a design that looks first class.”

“Ok, I know, when you see five stars you figure friends and family. Well I'm not. I'm just a very satisfied customer. How satisfied you might ask? Satisfied enough to drag David and his team at NY Woodwork to my next home, which will be a full brownstone restoration project! For my current home which I have just sold. David and his team helped me design, build and install custom cabinetry that helped to identify separate use areas, create massive amounts of storage and to be honest, became part of my apartment's aesthetic. During my open houses, I kept hearing about how beautiful the job was. David had someone on staff that helped me with the drawings, and I was able to visit his shop, review several choices of wood and finish as well as hardware for knobs and pulls. David's team works fast, can accommodate any customization you can dream of (and I did having him score each door to create a shaker look) and it seemed I had my cabinets in no time. The biggest difference is in the installation. Having great cabinets that are installed badly is a waste of money. My apartment did not have one level floor or ceiling, nor one plumb wall - so installing was a major feat - which David and his team passed with flying colors. David stands by his work. I had a small problem with some little paint cracks on a couple of doors, due to the climatization in my apartment. David whisked them off to his shop and had them back to me in a couple of days. I would heartily and readily recommend David and the team at NY Woodwork to anyone. Except don't call him next February, he will be busy with my job!”
