“Vadzim was the perfect cabinetmaker. He made cabinets throughout our entire home -- new kitchen with new island, family room, living room, media room, custom children's hallway, bathroom vanity, custom mantle, laundry room, and kitchen table. He was also responsible for the finishing touches, such as the handrails on the stairs and the crown molding. He was very responsive and turned around requests quickly. He was thoughtful - in many cases more thoughtful than we were. He really helped us think through the uses of the cabinetry and made excellent suggestions for improvement that integrated the design of our whole home. For example he asked us to make the countertops thicker to ensure outlet plug strips were hidden. His designs were perfect and thoughtful, down to the fraction of an inch. He also crafted a custom table for us when we couldn't find a white oval table in the right dimensions. Even with all of this excellent attention to detail and responsiveness, he was considerate of our budget. For example we were able to re-use some old kitchen drawers with new faces, and he sent us a high-end and low-end set of hardware to choose from for a very large door. Vadzim takes great pride in his work and is truly an artist with an appreciation for functionality. The cabinetry is all beautiful and works perfectly - all of it. We will absolutely use him again for every custom cabinetry need we have in the future.”

“As in Interior Designer, I have collaborated with Steve on several kitchen and bath projects in Alamo, Lafayette & Walnut Creek, California. Regardless of the scope, cabinet upgrades or a kitchen redesign, he is professional and mindful of the client's goal as well as their budget. Steve gives a considerable amount of attention to detail in his layouts: counter & storage space, island design, lighting, ventilation systems and recycling needs. “We had a nice Loft Area, but we knew we needed an entertainment center for our convenience and comfort. We contacted Jesus, the owner of AM Custom Cabinetry. After our initial consultation we were certain that Jesus was the one who could give us the look that we needed and wanted. When the job was completed my wife and I were just ecstatic. His professionalism and knowledge in providing my wife and I, the loft of our dreams were realized. All of the guests and family that come to our home are also equally impressed. I usually do not do reviews, but in this case I felt I had to show off the work that Jesus of AM Custom Cabinetry is capable of performing. You did a beautiful job, Jesus and we thank you.”

“Amy and Lewis have contributed immeasurably to the Character of my carefully crafted home. Although the remodel I undertook was substantially complete before their involvement, I quickly realized their potential for advancing my fingerprint on my custom home. Amy started early by linking up a perfect 10 year old (fully dried) chunk of redwood for installation as a mantle for my stone fireplace. (I had been searching for 9 months and she swiftly "rang the bell" linking me up with what turned out to be the perfect addition.) Lewis made the redwood chunk come to life with Amy's clever design of iron bands wrapped around opposite ends of the mantle with bold matching custom tacs of iron, giving the substantial piece the image of solidity and antiquity. Next, Amy started at the master bedroom, which I thought was largely complete before I met her. Wrong. She set out to design a wall unit made of knotty alder to match the dominant theme of "woody bedroom". The original idea was to hide the flat screen on one wall. This she developed into an entire unit that Lewis crafted in three pieces with mobile rolling doors to hide the screen when not in use flanked by shelves on either side, above which is a backlit artistic recess, all situated atop a table that houses eight disappearing drawers, a tie rack and hidden retractable laundry baskets. Fabulous upgrade from what I thought was a finished bedroom. I interact with this multipurpose design daily with great joy.”
