“Contacted Gutterman Services to inspect gutters following a cleaning from another firm. The other firm claimed I needed new gutters with a hefty price quote. Upon inspection, Gutterman explained that the hangers, while a good design, were damaged in some areas (likely from a heavy load like a chunk of ice) causing a belly issue with the existing gutter. Gutterman came out and rehung/sloped the troubled gutter with new hangers plus recommended installation of gutter guard on this gutter and on another gutter which I knew consistently clogs from leaves. After hearing Gutterman's estimate to do the cleaning at a future date, it was a no brainer to install these guards now and reduce the need for bi-annual cleanings (or perhaps any) on only about 20% of my gutters which have a chance to get clogged. It was refreshing to hear that Gutterman wants to sell workable solutions to customers - NOT make money on periodic (or unnecessary) cleanings. Gutterman also repaired a roof water runoff area which was damaging the HardiPlank siding. Quick install of a small gutter with direct downspout to the next gutter was the fix, along with a new coat of paint on the siding. They need a little work on centralizing communications back to the customer to reduce redundant calls. I received back to back calls on the day before the estimate day, and then again before the installation day. I am not complaining about "over" notification - but it makes you wonder if the left hand knows what the right is doing. Did not affect quality and timeliness of work. I recommend this local company highly over any national chain.”

“I called 3 companies for estimates, all highly rated on Checkbook. Pond was the most responsive and the most professional. When they set a date and time to do something, whether to get me my first estimate or to do the job, they delivered. Their price was very reasonable, in fact when I got the final bill I was very pleasantly surprised to see the cost was less than originally given because they needed to use less plywood than originally thought. My final bill was $1,000 - $1,500 less than the next bid. Lonnie was the person who came out to meet with me on the first call to give me an estimate. We discussed various options from a few repairs to replacing the entire roof. I also needed the rake board on one side of the house and the attic fan replaced. The 2 other companies discussed the same options, one needed to schedule a different person to come out to look at the rake board, and said the attic fan would be added on later as a separate charge. Lonnie may have conferred with others on his staff (a different person did replace the rake board, and I needed an electrician to properly set up the attic fan). But Lonnie was able to get a proposal to me within a couple of days, I didn't have to wait for different people to come out to see what needed to be done. It was taking several weeks to get estimates from the other companies. I decided to go with a new roof since I would probably have to replace it within a few years anyway. I needed to take care of a leak, so now was the time to do it. Lonnie or someone at Pond Roofing always replied within a short time whenever I sent an email with questions. Five men came to replace the roof. They worked very diligently, all were very professional and polite, did as much as possible not to inconvenience my neighbors (I live in a townhouse and my 3 neighbors front entrances are close to mine in a U-shape). I thought this would be an all -day job since the last time I had my roof replaced it took more than one day. They were finished in less than 5 hours, and did a beautiful job cleaning up all debris from my deck, balcony, front and back yard, sidewalks, and even checked the neighbors yards to be sure they had no debris. One of my neighbors commented later about how nice my roof looked. An attic fan was installed replacing one that had been there for 15 years or so. Turned out the electric had not been set up properly on the installation 15 years ago (that fan probably never ran), so Pond sent an independent electrician, Butch (Bill Buhl) to take care of that. Butch was great, spent quite a bit of time explaining to me how the fan would work, and the problem with the electric. Access to my attic is through a very small hole in the ceiling of a bedroom closet (good thing Butch isn't overweight). I was very pleased with the work he did, his price was reasonable especially considering the working conditions (small hole to access attic, extremely hot in the attic) and will use him in the future if I need other electrical work in my house. Two other men showed up the next day to replace the rake board (something my HOA said needed to be done). They did a beautiful job. After all work was done Lonnie scheduled a time to meet with me to do a final inspection and go over all warranties. I asked if he could take photos of the roof, which he did from a number of angles with close-ups of the flashing they installed, the attic fan, the two vents which he emailed to me. Overall I was very pleased with the work done by all the men involved, from the initial meeting, quickly getting back to me when I had questions (I came up with quite few over a period of a couple of weeks), the day of the roof installation, the rake board replacement, the electrical. I highly recommend Pond Roofing.”

“We hired Enhanced Roofing & Remodeling to do a MAJOR addition and whole house renovation. We added an addition and completely remodeled our existing house (which was built in 1937). To add to it, we were expecting our 3rd child and were hoping to have the renovation completed before the baby's arrival. All of the other quotes we received were wayyyyy over our budget (like $80K-$100K over), AND said the job would take close to 6 months to complete. Well, Ryan Fubini (owner of Enhanced Roofing & Remodeling) seriously is our savior! He did the entire job within our budget AND finished our house in 3.5 months. That's right, you read it correctly. He did the entire renovation in less than 4 months, and we were able to move back into our house with 1 month to get ready for baby #3. Our house looks amazing! We went from a tiny 3 bedroom/2 bathroom/small kitchen house, to a 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom house with a beautiful (and big) kitchen and a spectacular family room. We even converted a screened-in porch into a mudroom (one of the best rooms in the house, especially now that we have 4 kids). We have 2 HVACs (one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs), and put the washer/dryer upstairs. I still look around our house and just love everything that Enhanced did. The team of guys are super nice and professional, and really listen to the needs/wants of the customer. Ryan is a gem, and we will always be thankful for what he did for our family and overall quality of life!”

The crew was great and there was constant supervision. The work was done on time, and at the agreed upon cost. C2's estimate was one of the lowest that I received. “Central roofing replaced my old vinyl siding with Hardi plank & replaced all the old gutters & trim. They did an amazing job! They were on time, they worked quickly & were well supervised. This was the biggest job I have done on my home and they were the easiest & most professional guys I have ever worked with. The best part - they gave me the lowest bid!!! I bid my job out to 3 contractors & Central came in the lowest (by $10k in one case). Normally I'm worried about the cheapest guys but Mitch at Central knew what needed to be done & how long it would take - he was right on the mark. The others guys wanted to charge extra for random parts of the job just to nickel & dime me. I guy tried to convince me my whole shed needed to be torn down & rebuilt for $8000. Mitch at Central said it merely needed to have to have the roof repaired & just reprinted. He was right. Central is a rare company that has fair pricing, honest management & super quality work.”

“Schaefer Burdett Exteriors did an excellent job! We had put in a request through houzz for someone who could install an exhaust vent for a bathroom into the roof. Josh came out and did a full workup of the roof and attic. He noted a few problem areas with the roof and provide a quote for the work we wanted done and also a quote if we wanted to replace the whole roof. We ended up replacing the whole roof, replacing all the gutters, having a new exhaust vent installed, two sheets of plywood replaced where there was water damage, and they installed an antenna on the roof once finished. The estimate time frame was 7-10 business days. They were started closer to 6-7 days after signing the contract. The day before all the materials were delivered. The day of the crew showed up on time and ready to work. What was estimated to be a 3-4 days project took 2 days. They worked hard, got the job done, and it looks great. After the work was complete Toby came by and did a check of the work. He spotted a few things missed and sent his crew back out to correct them. A month later and things are still going well. We had one issue where a gutter needed to be realigned and one quick email to Toby and within two days a few guys came back and fixed it. They are a legit company - nothing skeptical. They are just as concerned about doing a good job as you are. I highly recommend them.”
