“Our experience with David Bauer Custom Homes was first class. They remodeled our kitchen and put on an addition to our home that included a sunroom with fireplace, an exercize room and a greatly enlarged master closet. Under the addition they put a basement which contains a man cave, a wine cellar and a lot of storage space. The company is professional and accommodating in its desire that the finished job be just what you want. Suggestions were made that enhanced the final outcome of our project. The detail of the workmanship is something we really enjoy in our home. We give this company a definite thumbs up!”

“Traci & Todd were very easy to work with when they bought my parents home. Their professionalism went beyond anything my sister's and I expected. It was very difficult having to sell the house where we grew up and my parents lived for 51 years till they passed away. When they finished the remodeling project they held an "Open House" for the neighborhood and our families. We thought that was a great idea and nice jester. But, what WOW'd my sister's and I, was Traci & Todd invited the three of us to a private showing of the house we grew up in and shared so many family memories throughout the years. “Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

Description Of Work: Potter House Group built my custom home on the site of of my previous home which was destroyed by fire. Member Comments: ,After interviewing several well-known custom builders (several of whom advertise "custom homes on your lot") we were fortunate to have been given the name Potter House Group. The President of Potter House Group met with us personally and we presented him with a situation that other custom builders who wanted to charge us up to 50% more than Potter House Group. Our situation was that lightning struck our custom home and it had to be razed with the exception of the concrete foundation and garage floor. After an initial meeting to review our plans, site, special conditions and consideration for the level of input we desired, Lee calculated an estimate that was realistic, detailed and SIGNIFICANTLY less than the other big name builders we interviewed. Rebuilding a new custom home in our Township involved a maze of obstacles and required significant expertise in dealing with permits, blueprints, township meetings, neighbors, rules and of course building inspections and sub-contractors. Lee navigated all the obstacles with expertise and professionalism. With the help of Potter House Group and its President, Lee M. Rickey, we moved into our home that met more than all of our requirements due to the knowledge and integrity of our builder. No substandard materials or workmanship was allowed, the process was professionally monitored and we now have the home of our dreams without breaking the bank! We highly recommend Potter House Group and Lee M. Rickey to anyone interested in honesty, timeliness, quality, professionalism and integrity. You cannot go wrong with Potter House Group and its owner Lee M. Rickey.”

“Work in progress but so far they have cleaned up after their day's work, on schedule with work. The work has not been completed yet so more to come when it is completed. Update: It's month 7 and while initially work went quickly, things slowed down by month 4. Still some minor fixes left. Have to revise my rosy initial review. Overall poor communication between the design specialist and the project manager.”

“Michaelson Homes recently completed a 3 floor addition to our home. This addition also featured a additional garage and was integrated into a new patio and pool area. We also used M.H. for an entire new kitchen including moving two walls and enlarging exterior windows. The complexity of the project ranged from matching up roof lines to managing a changing traffic flow both inside and outside of the home, Michaelson Homes did a masterful job. We interviewed several contractors and even more cabinet makers for the project and decided to consolidate all of our project needs with Marc Michaelson, we made a good decision. Marc ended up managing, or at least acting as our liaison with the pool company and the company doing the deck work...from a timing and integration perspective he did a great job. Our project ended up coming in on budget, on time, and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, the work crew that was literally "living" with my family for 3 months could not have been more professional, more polite, and took pride in cleaning up their worksite, our home, every night. We have now used Michaelson Homes for 4 separate projects in 3 different homes over a 10 year period and we could not be more pleased. We are not looking to do any more projects any time soon, but if we ever do it will be with Michaelson Homes!”

“In April of 2016, we began the search to find the best contractor in the Cincinnati area to build a new addition and remodel our house. It was a difficult process, and after interviewing several contractors I was about to give up until a contractor that had worked on my kitchen recommended Legacy Custom Builders LLC. I was sold from the first meeting with James Kennedy where we walked through the house and discussed the ideas around the addition. James walked me through the entire process and one of the best pieces of advice he gave me was to hire an architect (Darren E. Myers from Kenneth R. Bowerman, Architect, Inc.), also the best in Cincinnati. The entire team at Legacy was committed from day one to meeting our expectations and staying within our budget. From the initial drawings, through the city variance process, and finalizing the budget paperwork, Legacy and Darren were there every step of the way. The Legacy process is transparent so the client can clearly see what the project will actually cost. There are no hidden fees...only honesty, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way. No project is too big or too small. Our project was certainly not the biggest job Legacy had going on at the time, but you would never know because both James and Rob make sure no matter how big or small the project is...the client is made to feel that they are the most important. Legacy builds million dollar plus homes that are beyond exquisite. Our 675 square foot addition and exterior remodel, while well under the million dollar price was done with such care and craftsmanship, the neighbors are still complementing us months later on how wonderful and fantastic it is. Legacy transformed our home. Once the construction began, Rob Kennedy took over and managed every detail of the construction. He was onsite almost every day for 6 months. He listened to my ideas and he worked with me to implement them. He made sure things turned out exactly as planned. Rob Kennedy is honest, caring, concerned, accountable, and clearly knows his business of building houses. Construction is not always a smooth and easy process. Things can arise at any time that are unexpected and to the home owner may seem overwhelming and insurmountable. However, Rob is always cool and has a plan of action. He is patient and takes the time to explain all of the options and is only concerned that the client is happy in the end. I can't thank him and his team enough for everything they did over the 6 month period to make things right and ensure everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about Legacy Custom Builders LLC. There are very few businesses...let alone contractors that are so honest and upfront with clients. It makes a tremendous difference. We couldn't be more pleased with how the addition/renovation turned out. We're lucky to have found Legacy. There is no question the entire Legacy team led by James and Rob are the best in and around Cincinnati. Thank you guys for making our addition and renovation an awesome experience and for listening and caring about every detail. You're the best!”
