After being awarded a First Class Honors Degree in Fine Art at the Chelsea School of Art, London in 1992, I embarked on a developmental journey training and performing trapeze in a variety of circus companies, delivering shows to audiences around the world. This decade of physically dynamic work provided not only a key influence to my already energetic drawing style, but also further enhanced my discipline for effective planning and delivery of projects to exacting and immoveable timelines. During this period examples of my work were exhibited at the Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts, San Francisco, the Bibliothèque Nationale, France and the Sapporo Art Park, Japan. Settling in France in 2000, I have established a reputation as successful illustrator for a wide variety of regional and national promotional campaigns, most recently for a Chablis wine lable (1). I have continued my pictural art and in 2013 completed an extensive piece of work jointly commissioned by the Diocese of Dijon and the Heritage Foundation, France (2). My studio and exhibition space is currently based in Burgundy where I live with my partner and two children.
