I'm confused--didn't the OP ask for advice on whether she should keep the chandelier? In the most recent post?

I think it's a nice chandelier, but it's hung too high. I'd lower it--ideally it should be 30" above the top of the table. But I also think simplynatural's idea of a more modern chandelier looks nice too. There's no right or wrong, just personal taste.
And no one said to "trash it."
As I understand it, the first image in Diana's post above (^^) is an actual photo of the room before changes, with the actual chandelier and its actual position. The second image is an AI drawing of the changes planned for the room, and AI did not correctly render the chandelier as it actually is. OP says the moldings shown in the AI image have been installed and painted, and the art and sconces shown have been ordered. When everything is done, hopefully @cmarsi3 will post an actual photo of the finished room.
I suppose option #2, but if it were mine I would do nothing, but I prefer simplicity & probably would not have even noticed … I’m not a fan of a lot of mouldings. YMMV of course.
I can not think of a reason for a round carpet. I truly can not. Always contrived..
You have no dimensions for the space and the shape of a coffee table does not dictate dimensions /shape of any rug. The whole is what matters and we can not see the whole., nor do we know the size, and what else surrounds the space.
I know ai makes it all look perfect and new, but you can still take away ideas from it. The garage door being painted all one color, the gutter and trim color, the window box and the added landscape ideas are all things that would help add to the appeal of this home. It’s a beautiful style home.
Such good advice! Somehow, I sometimes forget how important side tables are until I am sitting somewhere, reach over to put down my drink, and only feel air next to me! :)

When redoing our kitchen, I wanted a farmhouse sink, both for aesthetics and because the front apron installation was helpful to me as a short person. I was also advised by the kitchen store people to place the drain to the side to get better drainage when it’s loaded up with dishes. Using a stainless steel grid protects the finish, so not mentioning that at the end was a huge miss.
Love my 1938 cast iron drainboard sink! I restored the original faucet, adding a gooseneck spigot and soap dish to complete the vintage ensemble.
I'm in the early stages of remodeling an apartment in a continuing care retirement community. The management allows great leeway, including moving walls. All of the above "trends" are guiding me, as they have since the 70s when I first set up housekeeping. I've always opted for warm colors, textures, plenty of personal expression, and practical features. One difference in the new place: all walkways and doorways will measure 36" wide, since I hope to stay there if ever I need a wheelchair.
No to the wood tile and no to the schluter. I’d hire a designer, it will prevent costly mistakes.
Here are some suggestions.
I recognize this space... hang the Egret art there. you don't need any more tables in the room.
OR get a larger area rug for the living room and spread out the furniture to include the floor space between the dining and living room.

Not every wall has to have stuff on it.
If you actually had more guests staying over, then I would suggest something like a flat/thin wall mounted Samsung Frame TV, as some people like to watch a bit of TV before going to sleep.
Another option for the columns would be to leave them and box them in white boards - we did this on a ranch house years ago, took a handy man 2 days and cleaned up the facade a bit (easy to reverse if desired down the road)
A Samsung Frame TV with a DecoTV frame would add some detail to the plain look of a standard TV, specially when you have the black hole effect.
This is my 75" Frame TV with a 3" DecoTV frame.

I’m going to go against the group here and say that a small shelf and fantastic painting would be just as beautiful. If you have other mirrors in the house and it feels like,”Mirror Overload”, then rethink this entryway. Yes, it’s traditional to have a mirror at the front door, but I didn’t do that. I put up some equestrian artwork and a few feet down I have a small antique table with a lamp.
