Of all these, I like the idea of a “pull out table” ( useful at Holidays) and charging drawers ( hide the messy cords).
But frankly , most of the others have drawbacks you need to consider.

• Removable cutting boards - most cutting boards get pretty beat up after a while, don’t really want that look on my nice granite counter top.
• Lap Top Ledge - yeah, my husband loves to “work” at the island. And while I do enjoy his company while I’m cooking, it also means my favorite food prep area is now littered with laptops and papers etc. Keep the “office stuff” somewhere else please!
• Roll out Chopping station - it will be too low, should be counter height.
  *Pop Up Oulet?? - seriously , you can put the outlet on the side of the island. Putting it on top makes no sense.
• Pop Up TV - ummm….no. Talk about encouraging TV watching and discouraging conversation! There’s too much TV in our lives, leave the TV in the den where it belongs.
• Paper towel draws - Really? An entire drawer wasted on paper towels??
• Set in Compost bin - what planet are you on!! The smell! My compost bin is outside by the vegetable garden where it belongs.
