My Houzz app is being unruly…
I will check out the paid version of Sketchup.
Appreciate the feedback on the importance of design fundamentals. We have an architect and engineer for the home addition. We have completed multiple interior remodels including gutting and rebuilding our kitchen and have been happy with our results. We worked with the designer at our cabinet supplier on layout and design for three projects.

Thanks Kellie! I really wanted to stay with natural stone, but I know it comes with drawbacks.

A simple blind might be the answer and note Amazon’s cost for 72” (Cnd $). Ratings are good and easy to return if not suitable. A blind will allow light to filter in, while proving privacy and is a suitable look for soft industrial.
I'm not sure what type of window treatment you're looking for, but try:
ShadeIt.com
Their colors and styles are somewhat limited, but the prices and 5 year warranty are a definite plus!
Since you only need a couple panels , check those odd lot stores like OLLIE's You might find the right size and a pop of color in your neutral color scheme.
