If you decide a color will work in rooms facing all directions, then it will. Change the light, you change the color is a fact of color.

However, over time your vision system adjusts to the color change in your environment. So even tho a color may look different room to room, you know it's the same color and before you realize it, you won't sense the difference. The color becomes more constant.

That whole process is called color constancy. You literally have to live with a color for a little bit, there is an adjustment period.

Despite what you see on Pinterest and blogs, there is no such thing as foolproof paint and color schemes.

Using one color throughout a home means you have to do your best to choose colors that you find pretty and that harmonize with the permanent elements and contents -- and then let it go. Reconcile with the fact that the light is boss and the color will shift as the light shifts hour to hour and room to room. And over time, it will 'settle in' and you'll be fine with the shifts.
