Oh, I know about the pain block and how you are supposed to start pain management before the block wears off. My wife has had several toe surgeries the last 3 years. They recommend the block, but also start taking her prescribed meds before the block wears off. My BIL had his hip replaced a couple of years ago and he was in so much pain. When he saw the doctor about all the bruising and pain, the doctor said it looked good. WHAT? Anyway, my BIL went too long without listening to the doctor about getting it done a lot sooner. The doctor told him that he would be back, but that he would be begging to get it done. I guess hunting season was more important than listening to sound medical advice?

Will D go for his other knee in the future? Anyway, I hope the next few weeks go by without too much pain.

My wife's current phone was purchased at Best Buy within 10 minutes of being there. I was sorely disappointed in the store this time around. I agree that ordering online is a lot easier. I did that many years ago (before iPhone came out) for myself, my wife, and youngest daughter. They were on our front porch the next day!

My wife wants the iPhone 18 Pro Max in burgundy. We stayed with the 256 GB model as her current one still has lots of room on it. I told her to start removing her photos and videos, resize them on her computer, then put the downsized photos back on her phone which will save her lots of memory. I guess the reason it isn't available at all the locations is it just came out with the 18 model.

I thought that limb looked odd being in a vertical position. It was either "impaled" in the ground or supported by something else that wasn't evident in the photo.

I started moving some plants indoors yesterday, watered most of the ones that needed it, and did some much needed weed-whacking in the immediate backyard. So much to do, not enough time to do it.

I bet D devoured that food from Outback that your nephew and his wife had delivered to your house. Hospital food is a good reason to recover quickly! HAHA!

What to do with it this winter.

I noticed my Red Dragon Persicaria was missing a lot of leaves yesterday.

Probably deer as the few hostas I have are missing leaves, too.

How to start new dieffenbachia plants. this pot is obviously too small for the plants as it kept blowing over. I let it after so many attempts to prop it up. Well, you guessed it, the stems are rooted into the ground now. I will sever the stems and pot up the tops soon.

called the plumber again..3rd time in just a few weeks..after a repair in August a callback was necessary..second plumber was here Sept 21..third plumber today..he installed a new toilet..why didn't the first guy say you need a new toilet?..

at McDonald's Sun 2 iced mochas fell into my car at the drive thru 😭😭😭..the worker at the window let go too soon..what a horrible mess..I hope my nearly new car doesn't smell from now on..I'm going to use an enzyme cleaner..
