I wallpapered my foyer with a paintable textured wallpaper fifteen years ago and now I am needing find three more rolls to wallpaper some new walls that were part of a kitchen renovation. Is there anyone out there that could help me locate this? I am struggling to find/buy this exact pattern. If I could find three rolls it would save me from stripping and starting over on the entire foyer. Would love some help! It's a botanical print (large swirling leaves). Wondering if this company went out of business.

I used a grass-like anaglypta (https://www.brewsterwallcovering.com/437-rd80028-folded-paper-anaglypta/437-RD80028) on the stairwell and upper hallway of my home during a recent renovation. The direction of the hallway was changed from north-south to east-west. I anticipated a lot of light coming in the west window. I thought it would amplify every flaw in the wall and reflect off any hung art in an unappealing way. So I decided, after reading this article to explore anaglypta. The west light highlights the interesting texture. It's all the "art" this hallway needs. Thank you for articles that highlight interesting materials and how they might be used.

I love a bold powder room when the rest of the house is bold too. I recently was wowed by this bathroom and wondered how it could be part of a whole home with these analogous colors. I could see caramel and red mahogany wood floors and furniture, deep rose upholstery and cordovan and English tan leathers. I think chrome and copper could be mixed. These colors are so warm though. What would balance them? Sea glass blue-green in some rooms? A mix of lime and navy in others? You'd have to love it to not be overwhelmed.

Thank you for featuring my Kingston project in this amazing collection! There's such a great range of styles and tips in this article! So happy to be a part of it :)

I have always put grab bars in and I end up using them to hang wash clothes to dry on.

I like the quiet hardware. Let the stone and wood be the stars of the room.

Quiet hardware. You have chosen some very high end and gorgeous items (soapstone? Wow.) Why make the hardware shiny? I would find the quietest, darkest hardware you can live with for this room. There are so many other beautiful features, you don’t want hardware glimmering all over the place. Black, dark brown - no shiny nothing.

Can the kitchen towel be hung inside a cabinet? Where is this hook going?
I keep my kitchen towels on the oven handle and my oven mitts inside the cabinet door of my cooktop island. It’s tacky, but easier to find.

We did install them upside down for the upper cabinets on that same project if you look closely.

I know this is an older story, but the question is still relevant. I opted for a pillow edge and dark chocolate stain like in this photo. I chose (black) hardware like the other photo. I didn't want the ends that caught my sweaters. I wanted a crisp look. And I hand tested these to ensure the backs were rounded to feel good in my hands. The problem is I am second-guessing myself and wondering if I should choose something more showy. My floors will be a honed cocoa and grey titanium travertine. The counters will be Santa Rita soapstone. The backsplash/walls will be large-format honed porcelain tile in a dark green. Should I keep the hardware quiet or showy?

Too bad the front swings into the room instead of up against the door. If the door ever gets replaced I’d change that.

I have 4 chairs in our family room. That could work in your room. Might try that. 3 are recliners but compact. We love it! I donated our oversized sectional chaise/sofa. Couldn’t be happier!

To-scale floor plan for the japandi rendering above (with a second chair added). Sofa will be off-center with the fireplace to allow space for the door swing.

It's beautiful. I love it when the house shows the personality and the taste of the person, not what a mythical future buyer might like. The moody colors and light and shadows are wonderful.
So fun being able to share your new layout with neighbors! Hopefully you will be sleeping in your new space soon.
Its ok, I realize now that your CoPilot post and hardware post are in your other thread.
Everything looks great and glad to hear you have only one regret.
