Okay. I've looked at a bunch of stairs. From modern to traditional. That staircase is stupid. Many are. These are stairs. It's not art. We had hardwood stairs before. I almost killed myself walking down them in socks. I vote for CARPETED stairs. Sorry Liz. Not fancy, but safe. Also. Let's talk design. I want a QUIET design. Functional. Solid handrail. This will not be a grand focal point. I want it to look nice. I want it to blend in. Maybe we will put some art piece on a wall near it. Maybe not. I'd vote for functional. I'd vote to have this be a design team decision, as opposed to a Liz and me decision. Make any sense?
