The generous quartz countertop island features raised stained butcher block for the bar seating area. The drop-down ceiling is detailed in stained wood with subtle brass inlays, recessed hood, and lighting.
A home addition allowed for a completely new primary bath design and layout, including a supersized walk-in shower, lighted dry sauna, soaking tub, and generous floating vanity with integrated sinks and radiant floor heating. The primary suite coordinates seamlessly with its stained tongue & groove raised ceiling, and wrapped beams.

The room's sophisticated black, white and gray palette is enhanced with ustom black rift-oak cabinetry, a plush custom ssectional sofa punctuated with bright velvet pillows, shag carpeting an reflectibe gray wallpaper throughout.
GRP Handcrafted CabinetryThis custom-designed ribbon mahogany wine room was fitted within a climate-controlled room. It was designed to hold standard, magnum, and specialty bottles in all formats, for a total of 2,800 bottles. Uniquely built specially configured elements allowed for wine bottles of all shapes and sizes to fit perfectly with the racks. One wall was created with a radius. Materials were wood, stone, leather, and tile.

Interior design, space planning and architectural details converge thoughtfully in this transformative project. A 15-year old, 9,000 sf. home with generic interior finishes and odd layout needed bold, modern, fun and highly functional transformation for a large bustling family. To redefine the soul of this home, texture and light were given primary consideration. Elegant contemporary finishes, a warm color palette and dramatic lighting defined modern style throughout. A cascading chandelier by Stone Lighting in the entry makes a strong entry statement. Walls were removed to allow the kitchen/great/dining room to become a vibrant social center. A minimalist design approach is the perfect backdrop for the diverse art collection. Yet, the home is still highly functional for the entire family. We added windows, fireplaces, water features, and extended the home out to an expansive patio and yard.
The cavernous beige basement became an entertaining mecca, with a glowing modern wine-room, full bar, media room, arcade, billiards room and professional gym.
Bathrooms were all designed with personality and craftsmanship, featuring unique tiles, floating wood vanities and striking lighting.
This project was a 50/50 collaboration between Rodwin Architecture and Kimball Modern

Vintage CellarsVintage Cellars collaborated with Zipco Wine Cellar Services and a multitude of other subcontractors in this Four story, Glass enclosed, showpiece custom wine cellar inside Del Frisco's Restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. This literal wine tower encompassed four stories and was the showpiece within the restaurant, though there are three seperate other enclosed wine rooms throughout.
This contemporary, yet rustic looking cellar utilized a 38000 BTU cooling unit, and had to be oversized due to the massive size of the cellar itself, as well as to accommodate the large amount of glass. This large wine cellar uses vintageview racking, as well as traditional wood racking.
