MCM Living and Dining Room Curtains...Overwhelmed and need HELP!

Just purchased a great mid-century house. Not sure what kind of curtains to get for the living and dining room. Looking for something with a mcm style but not too cold. Ideas for colors, length of curtains, curtain rod colors all appreciated. The two sets of windows face each other so I'm also wondering if I should get the same curtains on both sides or different. Thanks so much for any advice...sorry about the mess in the pictures.

    Have you thought about doing something fun like a Roman shade??? Hunter Douglas has TONS of colors and prints and a great variety of fabrics too. You can make it an accent color or chose a more neutral color/print.
